Hardly the most original title but I didn't want to loose anyone (well that's my excuse for the lack of originality!)

cheepz - so sad....that happened to my dads best friends daughter's boyfriend. She woke up and he had just dies in his sleep....wishing your family love and peace.

well...BD'd again last night. def think i felt the egg burst through on thurs tho and think the sharp pain was more centred on right side which would be good as still have right tube . will bd tom night as well as DH is going for curry tonight and i can't bear the smell of second hand curry.....bleurgh....

feeling quite crampy and periody painy down below today which is usual for me after ovulation.

mrsR - how are you holding up emotionally hun.....its such a rotten feeling those first few days post MC....doesn't even really feel real does it.....sending you love and hugs. On a totally selfish note it is really good to have to back to go through the TTC with again...we've done it once my dear and we SHALL do it again....

come on zayja.....another BFP this month would be stellar wouldn't it????

zayja · 21/11/2009 17:00

Hi Ladies,
Mrs. R, so sad and sorry to hear your news. We were missing you around here but didn't want to see you back under these circumstances. Hoping your recovery and TTC are quick and successful.

Cheepz, also sad to hear your news. Hope that your aunt will have lots of family support.

Congrats apples, that's FANTASTIC news! Yea, yea, yea! 'Bout time we had another BFP

I'm holding out 'til Thanksgiving morning this Thurs. to POAS. Sure would have lots to be thankful for with BFP. I've been a bit nauseous, but it's kind of early for that to be a symptom I guess. I also feel crampy like PMS, so I guess only time and POAS will tell...

louisesh · 20/11/2009 21:02

Hi MRS R i bled for about 7 days on and off after my ERPC.When i had medical management last year i bled intermittenly for 2.5 weeks.

Congrats APPLES soo you re 40 and BFP yeh!!! Im 39 in 1 week soo that gives me hope.

Not up to much this weekend totally skint to payday on Friday and last week at work before Bruges YEH1!!!!

You re welcome TETLEY no probs happy to pass on my , unfortune, sad experiences.

Off to watch "i m a celebrity" and drink more wine to celebrate the end of the working week!!!! YEH

randomimposter · 20/11/2009 20:49

Oh my goodness, much news to digest.

So sorry MrsRigby, that's terribly tough. Ref bleeding my only experience was after an ERPC, and that was over in 3 or 4 days. Good luck on the smooth-legged TTC .

cheepz, how tragic, am sure your family are in shock.

apples - BFP - my favourite 3 letters ; congratulations!

Sadly I am back at the beginning again... what I hoped was an implantation bleed turned into my period... started spotting on day 18... spotted for 5 days then heavy bleeding ... so a VERY early period.. BOO. So what do you call a Chemical Pregnancy even before a BFP... ??!! If that's what it was of course... but have never had spotting like that or so early.

So never mind. Let's go round again. My favourite character was Zebedee... although I did have a Dougal pillow case for many years....

fingerscrossedlegsopen · 20/11/2009 18:55

Apples - what great news, so chuffed! Just like my name I will be crossing fingers and everything else for you (can't BD for ages anyway as WTTC so no need for legs open yet ;)).

Mrs R After my mc I only bled for around 4 more days following the major loss and I am sure I ovulated around 7 days after that (although personally not ready then ttc) so keep looking for those signs. Good luck!!

Wouldn't it be great to have more BFPs espec around Xmas - a little pressie for our thread! KBO (keep buggering on) girls (as Churchill said) then again the "B" part is not going to make any babies!!! ;)

MrsRigby · 20/11/2009 18:35

Congratulations applesaretheonlyfruit . Hopefully I won't be far behind you .

Anyone know how long I'm going to be bleeding for? DH and I would like to start TTC ASAP and afterall it would be a shame to waste shaven legs (me not him).

boodleboot · 20/11/2009 18:31

apples...

that is a brilliant bit of news....

Cheepz · 20/11/2009 18:13

apples
we will keep the faith for you. much love

tigerbear · 20/11/2009 16:53

No, we haven't met yet (waves at Cake).
Good luck with the BDing tonight everyone!

Apples - BFP!!! Can we be excited for you??

applesaretheonlyfruit · 20/11/2009 16:42

Hi everyone,

Not been online much as we still don't have a landline, and the mobile internet stick is £35 for 15 hours!! Dh needs to use most of this time for work, so surfing is a bit out.

MrsR, sorry to hear your news.. really is quite crap.

The Dementor MIL has stopped washing, so I had to "help" her have a shower this morning, and took everything out of her room to wash. She should be in a HOME. It is coming to that point, because I don't want to do this.

After washing the MIL, went to local village and bought preg test. 7.80 Euros! For one!! Just as well I got a BFP first time, because that is expensive.

So., after Boodles and MrsR's experiences of 2nd miscarriages, I am not terribly excited. But, I mean, I am 40, so at least everything is working..

CakeandFineWine · 20/11/2009 15:42

Hi all

Sorry I've not posted for a while, been busy and all!!??

Hi tigerbear nice to meet you, don't think I've met you yet
Jollster could be implantation bleed, fingers x'ed!!
Hello Tetley welcome to the thread!

MrsR Really really sorry to read your news I hope your OK, I know nothing can make you feel better right now but like people have said you can always rant and rave on here!!

Hope everyone else on here is getting on alright I've skim read all the messages and sending postitive thoughts!
I've been BD'ing as regularly as poss doesn't help me and DH had our first row in ages and went to bed without speaking last night Better make up before tonight eh
Right better go at work and all oops!
Speak soon

tigerbear · 20/11/2009 14:50

Hello all,

Oh MrsRigby, I'm so sorry. Again, no words can make it better, but we are all here to listen if you need to rant.

Cheepz, also thinking of you. What an awful thing to happen. Your poor Aunt.

Oh dear, nothing happy to add unfortunately. No BDing has been happening in this house! Think we've missed the boat for this month - pah!

tetleytea · 20/11/2009 12:24

Oh, and forgot to say thanks for the info louisesh Seems there's massive variation in how long things take to get back to normal for different people. Which is a good thing really...will try not to let doctors freak me out.

tetleytea · 20/11/2009 12:19

Cheepz That's awful about your cousin. Your poor family.

Mrs Rigby, I'm really sorry about what happened Hope you're ok.

Blimey, what an adventurwe you had fingers!
It's good how it all panned out with your acupuncturist, and full marks to her for acting so promptly. Thank goodness it was something (relatively) straightforward and nothing gynae-related - phew!! Hope you're well on the way to recovery.

I'm feeling physically really well - (especially in comparison with 3 weeks of nasty pregnancy sickness ) so really trying to be positive and have faith that everything that needs to come out will come out!

louisesh · 20/11/2009 12:00

Soo soo sorry to MRS R and CHEEPZ life is a pile of crap sometimes. Both of you take care and rest up....XXX

fingerscrossedlegsopen · 20/11/2009 09:40

Hi all

Oh God, so sorry to hear your news Mrs R, also thinking of you and DH at this time. . I think the bear idea is absolutely lovely and hope it at least gives you both some comfort.

I bought a heart bracelet (large and small heart) which I found symbolic and strangely comforting. I look like a mad woman kissing it all the time but don't give a shit.

Bloody hell Cheepz what a tragic day for you and the family. I was so sorry to read your post. Take care.

Thanks for the comments Tetley - do hope you're feeling better. Had "interesting" day yest. Had acupuncturist (1st visit) (also ex midwife/gynae nurse - lovely lady) - stuck a few needles in and I started to shake uncontrollably. Sweaty palms and v dizzy. She said she wasn't happy at all with my reaction swiftly pulled all the needles out and rang NHS direct. Due to other pains etc.. they referred me straight to A&E.

So picture this, 1st time I had met this lady and within 1/2 hour of meeting she's driving me to A&E!! Bloody hell, was actually quite scared at what they would find - also on my own as DP had to stay with DS cos no childcare. She said "something else is going on with you". I had thought this but was trying to put e/t down to mc.

Anyway, ended up on gynae ward, few investigations etc turned out got kidney infection. No wonder the nausea had got worse and pain radiating into back. All makes sense now!

Am oddly so happy I now know what it is as was so scared was gynae issue. It never rains etc....!!

Hope you all manage a good w/e, thinking of you all, espec Mrs R and Cheepz.

Cheepz · 20/11/2009 00:20

Oh MrsR so very sorry, thats sooo tragic, was hoping for you so much.

I have had a terrible day. My cousin was found dead this morning by his girlfriend. He had just stopped breathing in the night and never came round. He was 29. The most tragic thing is his father (my uncle) was killed when he was 40 in the helicopter that crashed into the mull of kintyre, so my aunt lost her husband at 40 and now her eldest son at 29. He has two siblings as well who have lost so much.

Its not been the best.

thefatladyscreams · 19/11/2009 23:26

Oh MrsR - I don't know what to say. That is just so unfair and cruel. So so sorry for you.

The bear is a lovely thought - your little bean was so loved. I'm sorry my sweetie.

We're all here for you.

you can come and help me mine the pitfalls of TTC one -tubed

Evening boodleboot, cheepz and tigerbear and hello everyone else.

I bet your wondering why I'm back. I wish I wasn't.

I miscarried on Tuesday morning, ironically I was supposed to have the dating scan that afternoon.

DH and I still can't get the image of the fetus in the sac and then the placenta out of our minds.

I can't believe it's happened.

Apparently the baby just stopped growing at about 5-6 weeks. Missed miscarrage.

We brought a bear for the new baby as we did for DS. We didn't really know what to do with it at first, but we've since decided to keep it and I'm going to sew on the date we miscarried. Something physical to show that there was a baby that was loved and very much wanted.

It's like nothing ever happened, things are back to normal.

DH and I agreed that same day that we are going to TTC ASAP. Got a scan on Monday afternoon, probably to check everything is gone so as soon as that is out the way and I've stopped bleeding it's sex every other night for god knows how long.

I can't believe I'm going through this again.

Oh well.

How is everyone else?

louisesh · 19/11/2009 19:53

Hi TETLEYTEA i had a MMC last oct at 12 week scan had medical management it took 5 weeks for me to get a neg test folloeing the same don t know what my hgc levels were though. This year in Sept i had 2 nd MC at 8 weeks had ERPC and only took 10 days for a neg test. The ERPC was fine much better than the medical management, in and out within the morning felt, physically, fine.

Sorry for your loss it stinks doesn t it?

Hi to everyone else failed to BD on cd15.Rowed with DH instead!!! You know how it is????? Will try again tonight cd16.Hi FINGERSCROSSED glad i m inspiring you its becoming very hard work great name by the way!!!!!

CHEEPZ enjoy your hols sound fab.I m going to Bruges next weekend for my bday can t waot!!! Went last year was lovely and xmassy [is that a real word?]

Just one quick question to all? Why is the WHOLE world pregnant???????

tetleytea · 19/11/2009 14:51

Hi TFLS and Fingers, thanks for posts.

I'm doing ok on the whole thanks TFLS, was thinking it was all behind me but am feeling a bit knocked back today. The doc said there might still be tissues there that are producing hormone (sounds a bit sinister doesn't it?!). It's true that they took the blood on tuesday so it may have gone down by now. I looked on internet and found that this level is still that of a 5-week pregnancy - eek! TMI...

May splurge and get blood test done privately tomorrow as i just can't face worrying about it till appt next tuesday...The idea of a D&C gives me nightmares...i know i'm a bit OTT but can't help it.

Poor you fingers, you sound like you're having a hard time. Hope doc can reassure you tomorrow. I read that you'll get + preg test at over 25 hcg, so even when it's very low.

thefatladyscreams · 19/11/2009 14:33

Love the change of name fingers! I always chortle when I read your name.

fingerscrossedlegsopen · 19/11/2009 14:31

Hi Tetley

We have "met" before on the mc forum, used to be called witzend but as you can see from my name change am feeling more positive now Hello and thanks for your advice over there.

I just wanted to reply to let you know I am thinking about you. I am also worried re high hcg levels given still testing BFP 2 weeks post mc, still sore boobs, nausea, pains and had funny dizzy turn this am holding onto supermarket trolley like some old biddy . Going to doc tomorrow and going to ask for bloods to get hcg levels tested as EPU says scan shows all passed so "nothing to worry about" (!).

Will report back but, for now, good luck.
