so, was the second line in the alloted time frame ??? Sounds very hopeful

Glad you're taking it easy. Hope you sleep well tonight. How long do the blood test results take - will you be waiting over the w/e ?

Hi gilly, been checking in but had problems with my phone connection and have no Internet connection at home.. Bloody typical!
Sorry about the uncertainty I'm sooooooo praying for you. I did a test at the doctors and it was very unclear but did a test where it tells you if u are or not and that came up. I think the ones they use are not very senstive, probably due to cost!
Praying 4 u and want to tell you how great your coping with this all!!! Defo throw a sicki tomorrow! Either way u need a day off to digest everything and take some time for yourself! Obviously we have different work ethics too!! Lol lots of love xxxxx

Gilly, Have been thinking about you today and still am. Sorry about the uncertainty although there is still hope which is a good thing. Hang in there... take it easy when/if you can. Still crossing tightly.

I'm really struggling to get dd to sleep properly at night (finally she slept for 11 hours solid last night) and you going through this helps remind me of how grateful I am and what we had to go through to get here. You are helping me - by me helping you.

Gilly - I feel I need to spell it out! The reason I'm saying to leave early is because I think the second test could be correct - though with low hcg levels - so I'm trying to encourage you to rest to help the levels increase. (it's not that I'm a bully - well, not just a bully)

Take it easy even though you are at work, and be kind to yourself

chocolatedays · 08/10/2009 12:39

No - not at all surprised you are at work!!! Please try to leave as early as you can handle!!

Many things really can wait 'til tomorrow... or even (shock horror) 'til Monday.

Not the HH cllr - but when you fork out £6K on the treatment it is sobering reminder that a few hours / day or two not working is peanuts in comparison! Also - if good news you'll be taking more that a few hours off!!

How far are you from HH? I'd be inclined to go there and get a blood test.

Is your Dh around? CAn he get u another test?

Sending you lots of hugs, Gilly. Am very glad you can plan for FET in the new year.

Am a bit worried about giving you false hope, but not everyone gets a positive on the day AF is due - if implantation is late, it can result in low HCG levels. DS being proof! As chocolatedays says, only a blood test will really tell.

nomoremagnolia · 08/10/2009 11:03

Call in sick. Focus on You. Boots tests aren't very sensitive though I don't think? Try a first response? (Sorry I'm probably not really helping...just really rooting for you)
