A new recruit for the TTC club

Hello everyone, do you mind if I join your thread please? I'm TTC#1 and just waiting to test (not for a while yet)... Have had a few odd tummy pains and a couple of waves of feeling quite sick over the last couple of days. Sure it must be in my head though as not feeling very hopeful. Stillfrazzled - know what you mean, feels much closer to pg than before!

Stillfrazzled I used Persona for several years. If today is the first day of 'heavy' flow, then it would be Day 1 and you would need to press the 'm' button until it shows a number 1. However, you need to press the button at the right time for your testing window e.g. at a time when you will wake and test your first urine of the day. I always pressed it at 8am as that covered 3 hours before (when I get up early for work) and 3 hours after if I lie in. The day doesn't matter so much e.g. if you miss pressing the 'm' button on Day 1, you can press it on Day 2 and wait until it shows 2 on the display, but you must get the time right. The instruction book is very good.

Have been away a while and this thread has really grown - welcome to all the new recruits. I am waiting for AF, but 99% certain I OVd when away and DH was not with me . Tried looking for EWCM, every day, but it never seemed to get very stretchy like some of the pictures you can find if you google it. It feels a bit rubbish when you know you have another 4 weeks to go until trying again.... I will have to eat some more chocolate...

Ticklepeanut - I have had cycles of up to 39 days before with no pg symptoms so know how you feel. Sorry to hear about your cat.

Have had period like feelings- sore boobs, bit of tummy ache but only a tiny tiny bit of blood.

Came off pill a bit less than a month ago and had period straight after so would be too early for period anyway.

Am confused now..

Hello again. Had my implant removed today. Though she wasn't going to get it out it took a lot of prodding / pushing / pulling (sounds a bit like giving birth when i put it like that)

So i'm fertile again. (hopefully it all still works)

Anyone know how long before AF comes along? I've not bled at all while i've had the implant and don't want to get caught out. Would you wear a pad all the time do you think?

I am now on day 27/? and no sign of anything. Have tested twice but both -ve. Not expecting to be pg but want to move on if I'm not IYSWIM!

Sorry for the TMI first thing on a monday morning but I have a question that can only be asked here...

Following some advice in one of these threads, I've been doing the 'shoulder stand against the wall' thing after DH does the deed (god only knows what I look like...)
I think they are getting to their intended target, but the next day, I get something which looks very much like EWCM.

Which is now confusing the bejesus out of me, because I don't know what is actually EWCM and what is ahem, slighty congealed present from DH.

Are there any other ovulation symptoms I can look out for?

Hello everyone.

im really after lots of advise.. first time on here,nd not sure of all the abbreviations! lol.

im lead to believe i have POCS,i havent had a period for 2years,so they have me provera.which i took for 10 days and hav my period on the 14th day!
im on day 12 of my cycle(never been so exited to have 1!!lol)and took 100mg clomid,ive also been taking metrofomin 1500mg,i had an internal scan on friday, 1st 1 and said that my folicals are small,they are 6 she said they should be 18 or above to realse eggs(not sure if that mm or what)
to be fair, i havent been given much advice and find it a little frustrating!

i was sick on the clomid. ive constantantly felt un energentic/tired since taken medication.(im genreally quite energentic gym person)just fell like want to curl up on the sofa every day!also feeling dizzy.and was getting massive headaches.whcih have stopped now for a few days!

ive seen comments of here of people releaxing!!?? Gym or chill? lol

really open to loads of advise girlies. x

I'm in limbo - three BFNs since I last updated, and no further pg symptoms, but as yet no sign of AF either, at approx cycle day 38 - what's she up to?

HKT sorry I can't answer your question I don't even know when or if I myself am ovulating (but should be somewhere in the window of between last Monday and next Friday...!)

Dh has come up trumps with trying this time, even though he's knackered! But I've come down with a stinking cold - does anyone know if this would stop me conceiving? Cos if I'm unlikely to when ill, I'd quite like an early night tonight (a sleep early night, not a doing the dirty early night!)

Also, other thing that someone might know - is it possible to OV earlier than you think it should happen, cos going by EWCM (I don't even know what this stands for, but think this is what I mean) it is looking like that time - bit confused, shouldn't be for 3 or 4 days

nichynoo think that's one of those times you find out 2 weeks later you are preg! Guzzle the wine it may bode well!

I tested this morning and got a BFN

It is 2 days before AF is due but I've got a friend's birthday party tonight and wanted to know if I could drink. I got one of those super-duper Clearblue Digital and I definitely don't feel pregnant. So lots of red wine for me tonight

nymph-I got a -ve on my first test as it was too early then waited 3 more days and got a faint line.

With both my dds I tested after dreaming I was pg.

I gave in woke up after a really vivid dream where I was testing got -ve in real life but am ok about it atm

bigbird im so excited for you! keep us updated! i remember the tiredness very well but definately all worth it!

I'm not using any ovulation kits yet.... dh and I are going to try without them for a while, with my dd we didnt use then for 6 months so would probably do the same if it takes that long, but i did try and work out ovulation from the ususal signs, pain in tummy , change in cm. dh and i also going to try and dtd more this month to!

nymphadora I would say to try and hold of testing until af due.... however, easier said than done as i tested well before af due this month ... and got the bfn

Am getting drawn to pg tests on day 24 so when should I start? No sign of pmt which is good as I even had a version of it on the pill! But am tending toward eriod rather than preg but no def symptoms either way!

sorry tiffanys- do you use an ovulation kit? I roughly worked out my cycle knew when I was kinda due to ovulate on the actual day of ovulation there tended to be more vag discharge and then I knew to test and basically lots of baby dancing, I didn't put a pillow under me bum but didn't bath for 12 hours after! Sorry if too much details!lol,

I'm feeling fine at mo I was sick as a dog on 1st ds but so far so good just very tired and eating like a pig 2nds and 3rds! I defo didn't eat this much last time but probably cos I was so ill!Boobs are sore can't sleep on my front for long it hurts after a while!

Only told my sister and boss so far want to wait to see midwife first and have the heartbeat checkup before I announce to anyone.
