My bf (the one who had my EDD) gave birth to an 8lb 11oz baby boy today. All well. going to visit them at the hospital tonight.

neeko I know - but I had symptoms last time (even if I was in denial about them at the time!) felt sick for a week before testing and had terrible stabbing pains on right side (was convinced I had appendicitis!)... so complete lack makes me think is nothing happening... Exciting about the baby stuff coming down from loft! What happens at 16 week appt - do you get a scan?

moon I know - I agree - to be honest the ups and downs come and go, so I should just hold on and realise that if I feel bad one day, I'll probably feel better the next! Shopping sounds like it was good!

blue I might try something else next month, but I worry that the more I obsess and do things to help, the worse it will make it! I don't even know what a birthing ball is but sounds exciting?!

Hi Moon Shopping trip ust have done you good as you sound cheery. Hope you bought something slinky I'm sure it won't be long for you and Iggy Blue No news on 20 week scan yet but have 16 week appt on Wednesday. Can you hear my knees knocking from over your way? 21 days to work sounds fab. Hope it flies in. I have about 20 weeks but more almost 4 of that is taken up with school holidays - yay!
I asked DH to look for my birthing ball when he was up the loft yesterday but we've moved house since I last used it and it has disappeared. Or maybe he didn't look that hard. Think that calls for a trip to Argos.

Alot of us gave up caffeine/took up suplements/put our DH's on supplements. during the ttc madness plus acupuncture, reflexology, massage, anything that spoils you and makes you relaxed...

Neeko - you must learn to put your feet up missy! Lovely to hear you got a wee excited flip when you saw the baby clothes again . Fingers crossed I finish up eight weeks this Friday (4th Dec) so by my calculations, working my three day week with some hols means I only have 21 days to work . Starting to think i'm going to go early tho' so going to buy birthing ball in a few weeks to start bouncing as baby is back to back just now and lying back on the couch of an evening is the worst position to be in for preventing back to back. Have you got your 20-week scan date through yet?

4ever - yay! that you're feeling sick, its so reassuring although awful at the same time. You keep yourself under that cotton wool OK?

Iggy Don't ever feel bad about spilling out your feelings on here. We're all here for you, I promise. Going to the docs could just be enough to put your mind at rest and make it all happen so I vote you should go. Not every woman has symptoms in the 2ww when pg so you never know.

Cupcake I'd try a crying-stressy fit with the EPU first. Isn't there a study that says reassuring the mother decreases the chance of MC?? We all know you COULD survive until 12 weeks, but we don't think you should have to.

4ever Great symptoms. Hope you feel yuck for the next six weeks Enjoy taking it easy and sleep and induldge yourself as much as you like. None of us are even remotely jealous of the sleeping to the afternoon malarkey

Hun I echo what 4ever said too- I know I only had 4 AFs before getting pg again but it felt like forever and I was just so worried I was broked too cos I knew exactly when I was ovulating and bd'd loads.. it seriously isn't something wrong with you.
ow about trying some diet changes next month... I was literally all set to start a no-sugar, no-caffeine, & lots of supplements diet if this month wasn't the one. Apparently that helps loads with progesterone production.

annie & 4ever I wish we could go private but really can't justify spending £100 when dh is about to be out of work I'll let you know how I get on battling the epu!

Iggy Iggy never never stop talking about how you feel on here - it is NOT moaning, it is sharing, its the only place we have to do it, just cos Iv managed to get preg again it doesnt stop my memory from working & remembering how heartbreakingly frustrating & depressing it is to get to this stage again, & then WHEN you do get to this stage again, you will be sharing all your other worries & nervousness at scans/symptoms etc ect. I know what its like honey, we all do, thats why this site is special & we will all hold hands ALL the way.. DH asked what will the new mums do now, will they still post? I said they certainly will & are, & hopefully we'll all still be here discussing teenagers angst many years down the line!

Iggy I know just how you feel hon but it will happen & I dont think you're broke for what its worth, but do understand cos after mc in jan & nothing happening each month I asked for a scan to be sure at beg of sept, as couldnt understand why after BD 10 nights & morns in a row & OPKs I was obsessing why it wasnt happening each month, I guess our bodies are ready when they are ready. As soon as I though f** it it did happen, so hold on to hope sweetie.. BIG hug for you xxxx

I never got to meet a midwife yet, hoping too this time around at 10 wks, you dont see yours til half way through yet Cupcake is fighting to get a scan but has midwife visit at home at 7wks Its a true postcode lottery isnt it?

Im struggling with real nausea, only had it this bad with my 3rd that got to 13wks so a good sign I know, also having wierd vivid (bit scarey) dreams, bleeding gums & total exhaustion fatigue Cant function much before 2/3pm so couldnt be at work, Im just rolling with it & giving in to it all to give this one the best chance poss. More symptoms than had with others except the 3rd, so as said taking it as a good sign & trying to stay positive. This time next week will have had the all important scan so wishing away the minutes right now. I work out ill be 6w on fri cos of long cycle but if was 28day cycle would be 6w tomorrow Ooooh waves of nausea still hitting me, cant even mention food in morn, had to spell out things to DH yest cos couldnt even say things like fat, or roast potatoes out loud without gagging! Everything stinks too thats a sick face! xxx

Im sure you aint broke...it took me 10 months to fall pregnant again..i was back and forth the docs from month 6. It was only when i got over here that they took me seriously...........

now I know I am commando - but I am still vaguely aware of dates and to be honest I know I am not PG this month... I have no symptoms at all is so frustrating... I know we BD'd lots and there was always a chance - but seems like I am a bit broken... am not even sure how long I would need to go before going to see GP - am guessing at least a year from the MC as am under 35?

Anyway - hope you all had lovely weekends etc. I know I did as it was our first anniversary.
