Morning girls!

Am fairly cheery today (no idea why!)

lbm OMG!!! ARe you? Are You?!!!! loving the no pants section!

moon fingers crossed that you just tested too early - I got a BFN on CD27 and a BFP on CD29 in Feb... and cycle usually 29/ 30 days... so am feeling hopeful for you! But do the usual thinking of reasons why it might be ok to not be PG now... just in case xx

neeko thank you xx I think I will be ok - I am feeling fairly ok about it all at the mo - and am thinking maybe next year will be my year. So sad for your friend - agree with LBM, just be there to talk if she needs it.

cupcake so lovely about telling your Grandma! So agree about Dannii!

curly how you feeling lovely?

mermaid how are you getting on?

4ever sorry you feeling rough - I hope is a very good sign xxx

jools hope you ok?

Big waves to everyone else!

I am currently on CD 31 - which is odd cos I have had 29 day cycles for the last 4... but, I have absolutely no symptoms, and I did do a little test today and is BFN, so I guess AF has just decided to be a bit later this month! Not actually feeling bad about it tho, cos I really was expecting a BFN.

Anyway lovelies - speak later! xx

MrsKate · 12/10/2009 09:44

hi all sorry not been on for ages

well im getting a bump now feels very real .wont be long till bigpantsville i think .

lbm congrats is the news im thinking xxxxx

CurlyBigPants · 12/10/2009 02:29

forgot to say happy birthday to gracie and a big hello to barbie. Lol at your yoga class, the one I'm doing is so soft, the teacher goes around stuffing cushions under us at every opportunity

CurlyBigPants · 12/10/2009 02:28

LBM hurry up and tell DH - that is fantastic!!!! You are up the duff right?!! I'm glad I found some wifi and could check up on you girls!

hang in there moon, I've been thinking about you and have everything crossed for you honey xxx

4ever here's my hand for tomorrow (in a different timezone at the moment so maybe it is today!!) I know how you are feeling right now. I could barely stand I was so weak at 6 - 7 weeks but it does get easier to manage. Take your vitamins after you get into bed and just eat tiny amounts when you can. It's all very positive sounding We all know you would put up with ten times worse just to hold a baby at the end of it so don't feel bad about having a bit of a moan! It is tough, but seeing that heartbeat will make it all worth it. Lots of love to you and DH. Tomorrow is the begining of the rest of your life xxx

Neeko I'm so sorry about your friend the poor love All I can suggest is to be there for her. We've all learned that friends in RL back off when they can't deal with grief. I'm sure that just having you there will make a difference xxx

cupcake telling people you love is the best bit I think Can't believe I've missed x-factor. What was so bad about Danni Minogiue?

lots of love to everyone else xxx

littlebellsmum · 11/10/2009 21:41

Hi neeko - what bad news for your friend. Don't really have any advice apart from being there - we all know that at times like this people often like to give the grieving party "space", normally as they feel uncomfortable rather than from any request to keep away. Talking about her lost little girl when she wants to talk - oh, I'm only telling you what you know already....

moon - it probably was just too early.

Anyway, you know how I am the queen of keeping my head in the sand and ignoring what may be going on around? Well, I might have something I should share, but probably should tell DH first!

Neeko · 11/10/2009 20:18

Hi all

Moon Fingers crossed you tested too early. Leave it until Tuesday at least. By the way I have been known to pick a test apart and hold it to the light in my desperation to see a 2nd line so you're not alone.

Cupcake Bless your Grandma and hang onto those positive thoughts.

4ever sounds like good strong symptoms. Let your DH do everything and just rest. Her's my hand for tomorrow. You'll definitely be in my thoughts at 12.

DD had ANOTHER bad night but is (touch wood) hopefully finally on the mend.

We had devastating news today about a good friend who was 27 weeks pg with twins. She was forced to deliver early due to complications and lost her daughter while her son is fighting for life. Feel so heartbroken for them all Any ideas for ways that I can help them through this other than being there to listen and hold their hands?

cupcakefairy · 11/10/2009 17:55

ps- sooo sad about Stephen Gately! I used to have a massive crush on him

cupcakefairy · 11/10/2009 17:54

Aww Moon sorry about the BFN but it ain't over yet! It really could be too early. You said UCL is 31-33 so you could technically be 5 days before af...and I don't believe those FR tests can really tell that early. Not meaning to get your hopes up but just sayin... also the dreams are a DEFINITE sign.. mine are just mental right now.
Hope X Factor cheered you up anyway how SHOCKING was Dannii Minogue??

Hi 4ever gosh you poor love sounds like you're having a horrible time glad dh is being so great as always and I will def be sending up a little prayer for you at 12pm tomo Hope you can get something to help with the low energy too.

I just told my Grandma I'm pregnant and she was so thrilled bless her.. her and my Mum are totally convinced all will be fine this time so I'm riding on their positivity at the mo!

4everhopeful · 11/10/2009 16:47

Hello lovelies - its very very quiet on here at the mo - sorry for my absence, and sorry an advance for the 'me' post but will also say sorry to Moon for BFN

I been overwhelmed & all consumed by incredible nausea sickness & immense tiredness, I can barely function right now even thought of calling doc out on fri Im that bad, have no energy, DH is doing everything for me bless him. Had it bad with 3rd, but not as bad as this so am holding out its a good sign. Im only 6+2 so bracing myself for the weeks ahead, never felt this bad in all my life, im so weak & so sick, will mention it tomorrow to midwife when have my scan (12pm so please all cross everything!). Good thing is it takes all my energy just to function (walk, eat etc) so no strength left to be anxious tho sure will be diff story on way to hosp tomorrow! Dont even know how im gonna drive there & have visioned that DH may have to meet me with a wheelchair cos its a long old walk to EPU! Anyway sorry to appear as if im moaning cos I know im blessed to be preg & all worth it if we get to meet this lil one, but honestly never felt this rough in all my life..

Just thought id check in & let you know I been lurking on my phone every day to keep up with you all & I miss you & miss posting (cant post on pho just lurk). As soon as I feel vaguely human again I will be more regular, couldnt even comprehend work right now! Thanks & apologies to Mermaid for not replying to last tx on fri, thats when nearly called doc out, I have low blood sugar & pressure & felt like I was grinding to a halt, was v worrying & will def get checked out tomorrow...

Love to you all xxxxxx I will either post or tx someone with an update xxxxxxxxxx

BlueMoon1981 · 10/10/2009 17:28

before missed af that is lol

BlueMoon1981 · 10/10/2009 17:27

i used fmu with one of those First Response Early Result tests, sposed to tell you up to 6 days before missed. feel like i need a good scream and kick the wall or something! i think i need to prepare myself for af, cuz i've been so convinced i was pg.

off to make my favourite comfort food lasagne for tea and will snuggle up with x factor later on.

< wonders whether she should have a glass of wine or not >

barbie1 · 10/10/2009 17:21

done that...whoops

barbie1 · 10/10/2009 17:20

been there, dont that...dont be so hard on yourself! you might of tested too early...how sensitive was the test?

BlueMoon1981 · 10/10/2009 17:06

barbie i'm cd 28, usually af gets me at cd 31-33 so i'm early i guess. i was just so convinced i was pg. i've never had a bfn before, so its put me in a sad mood i sat for ages just looking at it, trying to make an extra line magically appear, holding it up to the light and at different angles. this ttc lark is sending me crazy i think.....

barbie1 · 10/10/2009 17:00

what cd are you on moon?

BlueMoon1981 · 10/10/2009 16:36

i caved in and did a test, bfn is it still too early? i def dont feel af coming on, and i still have all my symptoms

plus i had the weirdest dream last night, about dps mum helping me to poas and both of us trying to interpret the results, cuz it was a weird test with hinges on it to flip it over, and a little screen that printed you out some explanation of why you were or werent pregnant.... what?!

went to the supermarket today and i have never seen so many babies in a short space of time. one particular cutie was in the queue in front me in the trolley, a gorgeous little boy who showed me his toothy grin and waved at me, heart melt or what

hope everyone else is ok, bq my fingers are crossed for you

barbie1 · 10/10/2009 14:26

OMG!!! Ante-natal yoga is hard!!!

Thought i was going for a nice relaxing 75 mins but no....my arms are aching, im hot and i got heart palputations, oh and i also realised im not as flexable as i used to be

Any news from bq or moon

cupcakefairy · 10/10/2009 12:03

Oh Vjay sounds like you are having an idyllic little family life right now- cooing baby, jumping salmon...all sounds lovely

Neeko thanks so much- you're right, 3 weeks (2 weeks 6 days now ) is nothing really compared to all the waiting I've already done! Thanks for believing in the bean
Amazing that you have a growing bump and really hope your poor dd settles soon

BQ and Moon seriously holding my breath for you both!

I'm going to wear my new cute jumper dress today that hopefully isn't going to fit me in a few months' time!

VJay · 10/10/2009 10:35

Hello, just caught up.
neeko so glad to see you joining the bigpanters now, and kate can't wait to see you there soon

blue you make me laugh, as soon as I saw where neeko had put herself on the list I turned into Monica too, but you beat me to it I could do with Monica right now, my house is a tip, but I am on top of the ironing so that's something.

barbie I love that figurine your mum got you, I have a few of those, they are lovely.

I will be awol for a wee while as we are away down south to introduce Alex to the family and I have my exam on Friday and any spare moment I have will be spent on revising.

Alex update, he is now weighing 12lbs plus, he just seems to be growing before my eyes. He's now started to smile, especially at his big brother, and he's started to coo, that was yesterday, and it's just lovely The feeding seems to be settling down too, he seems to take a good feed in a shorter time and last night fed at 9.30 pm then woke at 3.30 am, which I thought was jolly good .
Right we are off on a day out today to watch the salmon jumping.

Neeko · 10/10/2009 08:21

Morning all.
My toes are tapping while I have the laptop on my knee in a mini AF stay away dance. really hope all this dancing works. The medium pants bench is shrinking and needs re-stocked Seriously, BQ and Moon I am holding my breath and hoping lots.

Barbie well done for surviving the shopping. Know it's not glam but if the sneezing thing is becoming common (as it did for me with DD ) you should consider the Tena lady pantyliners. Yes they are aimed at 60+ but has to be better than wandering around in wet knickers.

Mermaid sorry I missed our porridge date yesterday Had ANOTHER disturbed night with DD and then had to try to muster the energy for work. On holiday now though which is a good job as we didn't get any more than 2o mins sleep at a time last night. BTW my DD is one of those odd children who doesn't like jelly or ice-cream (all odd things come from her father of course! )

4ever If you're lurking I'm thinking of you for Monday. This baby definitely doesn't need a scan but I hope you get to see a little bean on Monday anyway. I've lost track, will you be 6 weeks by then?

Cupcake speaking of not needing a scan, your bean is fine too. I'm really sorry that you feel deprived but in three weeks there'll be a wriggling, kicking, bouncing bean waving at you and your tears of joy will wipe out the ones of worry. Look at all you've survived in the past 12 months. waiting 3 weeks will be a walk in the park compared to that and it won't be long after that before your MW can hear the lo's HB on the doppler and reassure you whenever necessary. Big hug.

Iggy soeaking of big hugs, I'm sending you one too. It's hard to imagine it now but in a wee while life will get easier and you'll be a better and stronger mummy for all that you've been through. Keep the faith.

Annie 15 days Good for you. Hope your DS is feeling better. it seems to be germ central just now as MLS's DD is ill too. We need a good hard frost as my gran would have said.

Happy belated birthday to Gracie Hope you had a good one. Next year you'll have a super-sweet mummy card

My bump grew within a few hours yesterday Strange but nice and it's forcing me to believe in this LO...

Hi to everyone else. Hope you all do something nice this weekend.

BlueMoon1981 · 09/10/2009 19:32

oooh bq fingers crossed for you too

< sings a little song for keeping af away to go with barbie's wiggle dance >

barbie1 · 09/10/2009 18:26

Hi again girls....

i have been shopping today and after a shaky, tearful start i finally managed to find some things!

Lesson 1, never enter topshop when you already feel like a weeble....god i find that place so depressing now i went in with two things on my list, one isnt in dubai yet and the other they didnt have my size and the girl looked at me like i was a size 30 or something and smirked....bitch!....felt fat and unattractive but then found a sale rail with buy one get one free and they had mat jeans and a cute dress both in my size for 115 dhs...about 20 quid. Bargin!

Lesson 2, never let your dh measure your boobs using garden wire and a builders tape measure...he will be over zealous and add inches to your already playboy size boobs, so when you enter m&s looking for that size you will be there for over an hour before you realise that that size really doesnt exsist (well maybe in porno's) and you will have to be measured again....least i found the right size and have 3 bra's that fit.

Lesson 3, make sure you know where the nearest bathroom is all all times....the chances are you might just dribble if you sneeze in the middle of a busy shopping mall...thankgod for maxi dresses in my defence im sure the baby was pushing on my bladder!

4ever i hope you are resting....roll on monday! I really hope you are too stressed and are taking care of yourself, easier said than done i know

cupcake damn your doctor im with mermaid...i guess your bean doesnt need a scan? How about if we all put a down payment on your first book....and then spend the money on a scan 8 plus 2 already is a big adchievement, hang in there love....

jools ok? miss you x

mermaid must be getting chilly minus the pants...are you in your long johns yet

bakingqueen have fun tonight...im doing a little wiggle dance for you and moon annie only 15 more days wow...ive only 15 more weeks

Hello to everyone else...im off to skype my family will catch up with you all soon xx

bakingqueen · 09/10/2009 17:14

Just a quick hello to all off out tonight so will be posting properly tomorrow, af due tomorrow so everyone do the af staying away dance for me and Moon please.

Love to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

cupcakefairy · 09/10/2009 16:07

Oops, actually 8+2...obviously wishing the time away!

cupcakefairy · 09/10/2009 16:05

Oh dear sorry for my moaning
Thanks blue yes I do feel very pregnant- so tired I fell asleep at the bus stop yesterday and constant nausea..but I also know those symptoms can carry on with a mmc just hanging onto the fact it is definitely worse than the last time. (I'm 8+3 btw, they've booked me a bit early for the 12 wk scan)

mermaid the porridge and golden syrup was delicious for lunch just what I needed.

I'm crossing eyelashes for 4ever and Moon too
