Evening ladies - really quick post as I am in the Netherlands and need to be a group dinner in 20 minutes, need to change and speak to my dc's but couldn't really leave you hanging any longer.

Yes - last AF was Aug 18th, felt rough for weeks and bfp yesterday. So far so good. However, have had very light spotting on an off for the last three weeks, so am not building my hopes up. Think I am 7+3 at the mo and knackered! Not pushing for an early scan and am planning to wait for booking in untill 11 weeks as I will have got past the 10 + 5 I got to last time ( assuming I get that far)

PS all facebook buddies - please no comments on there as you know me, I'm not telling anyone anything in RL yet!

Hello to everyone else, soory for lack of personal messages but im drained.

At yoga on sat i nearly passed out, the heart palputions come back and then walking the dog yesterday the same thing happened so i had to sit on the grass before i felt well enough to come home. It seems to occur whenever i get hot, its like my body cant cope with the heat so my heart goes mad! along with an already lower blood pressure my head feels faint...

Anyway doctors today, i have now been referred to a heart specialist to rule out anything untoward..im sure its fine, and im not at all worried....The one good thing that came out of today was the new midwife had time on her hands so let me listen to the babies heart beat

Off for another early night...

Morning Neeko - LOL at you sleeping. No I'm 'only' 30 weeks this Friday. Time is dragging not helped by everyone assuming my pg is flying by as "its my second" - grr. As DH says I have effectviely been pg since July 2008 (on and off ) so time is certainly NOT flying in.

Have done my ironing too this morning - it kept me sane whilst DS is watching Ben 10 .

Its such a milestone ironing your mat clothes - well done you .

Have just stood and ironed all my maternity clothes that I wore when pg with DD. Tonight's job is to clear my wardrobe of thin clothes until next summer

4ever - have been thinking about you all weekend and will be saying a prayer at 12pm. The day/hours leading up to an early scan are just plain torture all the worry and daring to hope coupled with the fact you feel absolutely rotten too (although that is a good thing hormone wise!). So hope and pray you can meet your baby today and nurture him/her through the next 24 weeks xxx

Neeko - what awful, awful news about your friend, just devestating . Mermaid makes a great suggestion re: keeping their basic needs going in terms of shopping etc. and LBM also re: talking about it rather than thinking they don't want too. So sad, its making my heart break just thinking about them... So hope your DD is on th emend. MY DS is current;y sleeping on the couch so don't know if he is coming down with something . I'm off work today as its a local NHS holiday..

When someone close to me lost a child we all made sure, other than being there if needed that they had a supply of cooked food casseroles etc. I suppose it tackles the very basics but they need to keep their strength up and it is something less to think about having to do.

iggy I am ok thanks sunny lady arguing over paint charts all weekend, redid the bathroom twice and it still looks yuk, put some flat pack together. I always have loads of bits left over though

AGH im very weebly & trying to pass time til my first scan at 12pm

Praying that everything looks like it should & freaking cos my symptoms seem to have dissapeared hmm] Normally I see the heartbeat but then they die at week 8. Im 6w+3 but have so many thoughts running round my head. Maybe my symptoms were just anxiety building up to this scan? I cant believe here I am on my 5th pregnancy in 2yrs, please god dont take this one away. I started feeling so positive but just dont want to tempt fate....

My bath is running so im gonna get ready now.
