Hi Kiwi - I've got my app in Jan. I still have 3 rounds of tablets but unless af comes thats lessening our chances of having a clomid baby rather than an assisted one if you get what I mean!

stac thats what we're here for - we know how you feel!!!

I just vegged today - lost only 1lb this week but here have a lol!!!

Hopefully check in a little more often this week. have a great Sunday!

hey ladies
quick up date it was a false alarm for my friend her af came last night she is so releived doesnt want a baby at the moment which if I am honest her whole family were glad about due to her dp. Also for me today af has appeared again and I am loaded with the flu think a docs app is on the cards, typical. Whats the plans for the weekend? Think I will go to the boot sale tomorrow for a nose about.

kiwi know what you mean about bding, it gets monotonous sometimes doesnt it?

Thanks to you all for your support with my outburst yesterday I am very grateful for you all being there for me when I need you, your all wee stars!!!

kiwi hi can I be nosey and ask are you having to pay for ivf and are you able to use your own eggs? x

KiwiKat · 14/11/2009 17:40

Stac, Fairy, I know what you mean about feeling odd about other peoples' pregnancies. We all feel a little weird about these things at times, then feel weird about feeling weird, but 'tis only natural. Thislittle, I too secretly fancy Alexander Armstrong [whispering emoticon]. Loving the story about the keys. Serves him right! Clure, 10 kms in the rain? OMG - you and Peju are just so focussed, you both really put me to shame.

CD15 today, so we have been bding every second day for the last week, which keeps dh happy. Might keep it up every second or third day [tired, can't really be bothered emoticon] just to see if anything happens at all. This is our last clomid round before going onto IVF, which I'm super-reluctant to do, but guess we don't really have much choice, at my advanced age (43) ...

Please send prayers, baby dust, crossed fingers and rabbits' feet etc my way!

Clure · 13/11/2009 22:18

hiya
thislittlesister - think armstrong & miller are the funniest thing on telly at the moment (think my typon g going wonky due to wine consumption) I love runnning in thr rain, its real therapy
stac - its a bummer, it all feels so unfair
fairy - i get totally what you mean

heres more babydust for you all xxx

Fairygodmother1 · 13/11/2009 22:13

Aww big hug Clure - it's gotta be one of us soon! Still nothing her except feelings of coming on but nothing happening.

Stac - no you are not selfish (btw Wilkos do a pk of 2 for like £2.49 or something by freedom - the tampon type people). It is seriously getting to the point where I can't sit in the stafroom cos all I can see is growing bellies & hear baby talk!!!!

Frigging unfair life!!!!

Well thats my mini-rant.
Have a good weekend - weather's looking grim!

stac14 · 13/11/2009 18:59

hey thislittle Just spoke to friend again, she says she doesnt know if her sis is pg as she cant afford to buy a test (kind of shows how bad it is) but she had to get laser treatment done last month for pre-cancerous cell so she stopped her pill for her 7 day break last saturday but only had a bleed for a day and is due back on her pill tomorrow so think she may be panicking. Whos alexander armstrong? going to google right now lol, hows the v, t & lime? seriously considering that myself lol xxx

OP posts:
thislittlesisterlola · 13/11/2009 18:00

hey clure a 10k in the rain, i am full of admiration if i as much even contemplated doing that i would need a lie down and a stiff V and T... with lime please... ooh what a good idea.
anyhow... stac i totally sympathise (V and T with lime?) it could well be a false alarm and no you are not a bad person if anything i think you sound concerned for your friend but it is not a nice situation for you or her to be in. I hope all get sorted.

P.s does anyone else think alexander armstrong is a little hot? or have i had too much vodka in that tonic for an evening drinkie?

stac14 · 13/11/2009 17:29

Hi ladies rant alert I am best friends with 2 sisters, just got a text from one of them saying the other thinks she may be preggers, I want to be happy for her but her dp is a lazy no good idiot who doesnt even have a job to support thier first child let alone another one, I know it sounds really selfish but I know she doesnt want a baby at the moment because of her situation (they are skint) which makes it even worse. I have to admit my first thought was I hope its a false alarm, but my rational thought was to feel sorry for her. Feel like such a bad person!! Sorry for going on, but really didnt expect this.
How are the rest of you?? xxx

thislittlesisterlola · 12/11/2009 20:07

i love a good piece of karma job tell the police how you found the keys too! good luck with the clomid. stac an xmas tree already oh my! Bought bits and bobs i need to get paid to really go for it as it were- damn these 5 wk months! Hope all is well. Sorry cant advise on metiform have no knowledge clure am so so sorry to hear of your bfn fingers crossed for a good bloods result. Hey fairykiwi and peju hope all is well with you. Must dash sorry for rushed message x

jobobpip08 · 12/11/2009 18:16

Evening all

clure so sorry about your bfn. I used to have quite random cycles before having my angel babe, anything from 26-35 days. Last year I had a couple of 32 day cycles and my pee on sticks were positive on day 19, imo a day 21 is too early, maybe day 24 or even later might be more accurate?

Start my clomid tonight, oooh exciting!

stac can't believe you've seen a xmas tree. What is the world coming too!

Must share my ultimate karma - last night, a drunk opened our 6 foot 'Fort Knox' gate, walked 50 foot to our house, peed on it, we caught him and chucked him out. Needless to say I didn't sleep well. This morning though I laughed for ages - we found two car/van keys outside. Might ring the Police lost and found tomorrow, if I feel ike it........hehehe

stac14 · 12/11/2009 17:37

Hey ladies how are you all? Sorry I havent been on in a couple of days, have some sort of virus, sore throat etc. Took the first step to loosing that stone by crimbo and joined a diet class today, so good to hear about your fab weight loss peju

Sorry about bfn clure heres hoping cd21 blood come back with a high number

fairy & job I was a demon on clomid so not looking forward to starting them back for that reason but the end result is worth a few arguements lol, I took them at night which kind of lessened the effects.

thislittle I was looking for the best deals on ps3's with games etc ended up going to argos as it was cheaperish, but at least thats one thing off the crimbo list lol, have you started shopping yet?

Hey kiwi how you feeling?

Well have been on the higher dose of metformin now since monday, dodgy tummy is back but that could be the virus, weird signs of af but nothing has happened, I have had lots of cramps generally on one side and a couple of shows of blood but nothing else, any ideas ladies???

Oh while I am here writing this huge long post I saw my first xmas tree in a house yesterday so couldn't believe it, flashing lights and all thought it would be next week before I spotted any at all lol
I'm away now before I type anymore

Clure · 12/11/2009 12:42

hi all
well its a another bfn for me. CD33. I'm kind of hoping my reflexologist is right thinking I may ovulate later given that my cycles are so long. We can only hope, will be looking out for signs of ov this week. Will also be ringing GP to find out progesterone levels for the day 21 test. I think I'd prepared myself for bfn so I'm not as upset as last month.
Well done on the weight loss peju
hi to the rest of you xxxxxxxx

thislittlesisterlola · 11/11/2009 21:57

hi all, peju i sympathise with parents evenings every time i promise myself they wont take over and i'll be serene and collected... Not succeeded yet im sure you have! Glad your feeling bit more yourself. Am exhausted today and rather teechy tbh. Hope everyone is well night night all x x

Fairygodmother1 · 11/11/2009 21:12

Well done peju!!!!!!!! Yep dh said it is Zinc (he's good at this vitamins part!)

I caved on the alcohol & had a few glasses with dh for Sunday dinner.

thislittle - I'm hearing you on the mood swings - I was EVIL last week. Feel a bit more my old self.

CD49 & still no af!

Parents evening this week has thrown the exercise out of the window!

Starting carrot sticks in my lunch tomorrow...healthy snackage!

half way through the week...and yes we need a BFP soon!

baby dust & sparkles (maybe thats the extra we need)***

thislittlesisterlola · 11/11/2009 08:50

peju wow! Look at you go! Dh has really wound me up this morning already grr he's off and on like a tap- ok rant over dont worry job clomid and i just didnt see eye to eye on the emotional level fingers crossed you'll be ok. Hope everyone is ok. How is clure stac kiwi? Have a good wed x x p.s peter andre is on radio 2 oh my its terrible- just my opinion obv!

KiwiKat · 10/11/2009 23:25

Wow Peju - I'm impressed.

jobobpip08 · 10/11/2009 19:55

Thanks thislittle, I haven't warned my hubby about possible pmt type side effects! I surely can't bitch in my sleep LOL?!

Peju - fantastic weight loss - you must be losing mine as well - I can't seem to lose any!

yes, zinc is great for sperm, you can get male prenatal vits which has all sorts of good stuff in there. Sperm take 3 months to mature so a good idea to start him on them now so they'll be tip top for next year.

x

peju25 · 10/11/2009 18:13

Hi all

diet going well have now lost a stone in 5 weeks!! Aiming for another by xmas although it is the party season so will be harder going to try and up the excercise to make up for any blips!! Actually feel a lot better in myself now and who knows maybe by losing weight it will help us do it natural! Got 2 and a bit to go before IVF acceptance but everytime i reach for he choc i give myself the choice - 5 mins of yummy pleasure or more hard work with a baby at the end - it really works not had choc in ages!!

Im still waiting for a referral letter - stupid me forgot to ask how long it takes!

My dp has started making changes - is it zinc that improves sperm?? gonna get him popping the pills!!

Hope everyone is ok - been a while since we had a BFP so think one must be due on here - fingers crossed for you!
