here's a weird thing, yesterday and today have signs I may be ovulating, yet I'm on about CD 60 so do you think its just wishful thinking on my part?

Hi stac yes I'm now on cycle 2, day 3, with clomid. The most amazing thing is for the first time since I had my angel babe last March my period has only been mega-heavy for 1.5 days, instead of the usual 4-5, which I'm assuming is the clomid helping to finally give some balance to my hormones. HOORAY! Thats made my christmas!

DS was Cow 2 in his nativity - they do some great songs, don't they? If it wasn't for the fact its about someone having a baby.....LOL!

Clure had to look up the AMH test to see what it was, but looks like a good one to have done. We're lucky here that you get the same guy, private or not and he is great. Private is just a bit quicker. Hope you get an appointment really soon.

fairy how are you after meeting your nephew? I usually feel kind of happy-sad with these things. You going to dish the dirt on that middle name?

thislittle where are you? hope everything is ok with you.

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend, we've just been to a christmas parade with lit-up floats, which DS loved.

stac14 · 12/12/2009 23:05

Hey jobob We have told quite a few people and by the time xmas comes I will be nearly 11 weeks so will probs just let the cat out of the bag lol. Are you going to take clomid now af has come on?

clure you sound more positive than earlier, fairy is right you will probably get far more answers by going private and better results. DD must have been gorgeous at nativity. I love all that stuff at xmas DS and step DS are way too cool for any of that so really miss it.

fairy I'm sure you will have a lovely day tomorrow

Well I am off to bed as I am totally knackered. Take care oxoxoxox

hi thanks so much for all your thoughts, it means a lot. Have contacted a private clinic and thinking of having a set of bloods and the AMH test done just to really give a clearer picture, waiting for them to contact me now.

We too put up our tree, DD SOOOO excited. We saw her as an angel in her first school christmas nativity, never heard "little donkey" sound so good!!!

jobobpip08 · 12/12/2009 21:49

fairy glad you sorted it with your bro, its not a nice feeling to be falling out with people. Your crimbo card sounds lovely!

stac I'm fine thanks,af arrived the day after I posted about it being missing! Was blaming the clomid for feeling quite tearful about not being pregnant for another christmas and then realised I hadn't started taking it! What an idiot - had to laugh at myself!

How are you feeling? Have you managed to keep it quiet? Can you get away with saying the big grin is because you're looking forward to christmas?

xxx

stac14 · 12/12/2009 21:13

clure have they offered you a new appointment to discuss your options? Wish i could help you hun. Your in my thoughts. X

Hi all!

Clure what are you gonna do? If I could help I would but can't even do it for myself! Feeling pretty bloody useless!

Thanks for all the moral support - my brother rang me at half 3 yesterday to tell me about his son! Said he thought mum would pass on the message (which she did I suppose, it was the fact that the news wasn't kept off facebook till all knew & the fact that we didn't even know she was in labour even when mum had phoned my bro in the middle of it for a general catch up chat & he said he couldn't speak now) & that he didn't realise he's upset me. He was also surprised that I hadn't gone up the hospital so I explained that mum had invited me as an after thought but I couldn't leave work early anyway.
He apologised a lot but was unaware of what had happened.
I also text my sister yesterday to explain to her how I was feeling - that it felt like cos I can't have a baby they don't want me around & that they make me feel like I'm letting everyone down.
Mums comment on it all is that as far as she's concerned I found out the same time as them - not her fault that I'm in class teaching!
So as you can prob tell more issues with my mother! The year started with her causing problems with my wedding & ending with her making me feel crap about not having a baby! She's so insensitive!!!!
Anyway going to meet my new nephew tomorrow (who has an awful middle name - it had to be named after her dad's middle name cos the baby has my bro's middlename that also happens to be my dad's middle name & it's first name is very chavvy lol).

Thanks for listening to my rant!!!!

On another notethink I might be ovulating at the mo but also had very sore boobs for the past few days (could be hormonal or stress).

Must say I got something in the post that made me smile -it was a pic of one of my goddaughters (her 1st xmas) on a card with her little scribble inside - so proud.

Hope everyone's weekend is going well.

Clure I am so so sorry to hear your news, life really is so bl**dy unfair at times. Holding you close in my thoughts xxx

Clure · 11/12/2009 22:32

hi all

had a letter from consultant saying my day 21 progesterone results were very low ( he stated 1.3 though not sure what the measurement scale is) coupled with my very high FSH its looking very unlikely for me to conceive, he also brought up premature meno again in his letter. Feeling numbed by it all now. Sorry rant over

hope the rest of you are enjoying the weekend x

stac14 · 11/12/2009 14:30

Thanks millymolly hope af comes asap

fairy thats an awful position to be in hun, have you been contacted yet? Its probably as jobo says they probs assume someone has been in touch.

jobo know what you mean about xmas hun, we were at dp's best m8's bros funeral today, was heatbreaking, always seems at this time of year bad news comes in abundance. How you feeling now? Hope I havent depressed you

clure are you going to take provera again? I felt using both provera and clomid made me a moody cow lol. Is dd looking forward to santa coming?

how are you thislittle not heard from you in a while, hope you are ok hun

yay its friday nearly the weekend, I feel as if I could sleep for Scotland but have ds's footy match tomorrow oh well no rest for the wicked lol xxx

jobobpip08 · 10/12/2009 21:35

clure I just know that now I have posted about periods that it will come with a vengence LOL!

fairy I know how you feel, my brother is useless too, if its not her family then its not important. I didn't get a xmas card/pressie until 25 JANUARY this year! Perhaps everyone in your family thought someone had been in touch with you? Am I being too generous? I usually go for comfort curry, but comfort chinese sounds good!

I do think Christmas is a time when its great when life is great, but when its not, its really not. Am I making sense or is it time for bed? Time for bed....xxx

Clure · 10/12/2009 21:05

fairy - you go girl with the chinese and pint, sounds like you have every right to be cross. Only a week left till end of term!! enjoy your evening

jobo - I too had/am still having very scant periods

Actually still bloody waiting for AF - last one was mid october

babydust xxx

Fairygodmother1 · 10/12/2009 20:23

Jobo - yeah it's prob the clomid. My first month was all over the place!

I like the tinsel baby dust! lol.

I'm fuming tonight (and it's not the clomid) - my brother's girlf popped her baby today & my bro didn't bother telling my mum till it was born & i didn't find out untill my best mate congratulated me cos she's seen it mentioned on my sister's facebook!
her fam were all there for the birth (we only live 30 mins away). My fam have all dashed off up the hospital but I've been 'forgotten'! just noticed on my sister's status update it's weight but still no name! No phonecall or text either.

Not sure if it's cos they couldn't be bothered or cos I have some sort of anti-baby lurgie cos I can't get preg at a drop of a hat!

I'm so full of emotions - good I've got some pretty amazing best friends & DH around me!

So been really naughy & had all you can eat chinese & a pint!!!!!! It was that or I tell my fam where to go! The crap they've put me through this year it's no wonder I'm not preg yet! Gonna spend a relaxing evening with my hubby!

stac14 · 10/12/2009 14:38

We are going to DP's mums on Xmas day and my aunts on boxing day, we do the same thing every year and I love it cause I get away with not cooking lol

jobob I had that a few times on clomid, would spot the come on a couple of days later, but when found out was pg spotted on and off for about a week but never got bfp till a few weeks later so you never know hun xx

OP posts:
jobobpip08 · 10/12/2009 13:01

We're having a quiet day here with DS and my mum and dad, doubtless all fighting the dog for space on the sofa!

Technical question - I know I'm not pg but my period hasn't arrived as it was supposed to, 2 days ago. I had spotting on day 27 and 28 and waited for the flood but nothing has happened. Normal for clomid?

thanks

Clure · 09/12/2009 22:22

I'm cooking christmas dinner for the first time in my life (got to the ripe old age of 42 and managed to avoid it!!) not sure the in-laws will be impressed with a vegan christmas dinner though!!!

Fairygodmother1 · 09/12/2009 20:35

Stac it could be the clomid - I've been fine tonight. I was also feeling really cold for the past couple of days too. Wonder if it's related?

I'm spending the main part of the day with DH. The evening I'm spending with fam as the only really live round the corner. Whats everyone else up to?

Festive baby dust

stac14 · 09/12/2009 19:42

fairy Is it the clomid making you angry? I was a nightmare on it, crying one minute, raging the next, I actually called the doctoar and asked him if I was going out of my mind lol

Your so right about 2010, where have the years went lol. Feel as if this year has flew in. Whats your plans for xmas? Not long now. We are putting the decorations up this weekend trying to get into the festive spirit.

Fairygodmother1 · 08/12/2009 20:04

Stac you are one of us!!!! We need you to keep our spirits up with hope!!!!

How is everyone? I seem to be Little Miss Angry - was annoyed at something stupid last night & tonight I've lost my rag over not being able to find my bro-in-law's present that I only saw the other day. Obviously DH is putting stuff away without thinking!

two fam members are ready to pop so in waiting for their news of pitter patter feet!

Not sure if I'm ovulating at the mo but some how sticking to the every other day bd! I don't know if we're in some kind of routine now or what! Fingers crossed tho!!!

(far too many exclamation marks in this message )

can't believe 2010 is around the corner!

baby dust to all

stac14 · 08/12/2009 10:58

Thanks ladies, just didnt want you to feel as if you had to put up with me. I would like to stay in touch to see how you are all getting on. How are you all? millymolly are you going to take provera for af or wait for it to come naturally? X

OP posts:
Clure · 07/12/2009 22:25

don't bugger off stac, it would be good to let us all know how you are getting on. We've all felt those feelings but think we are truly pleased for you - having shared all your worries, frustrations with us, just like the rest of us, we know that you have experienced what we are going through x
