Thanks for the warm welcome fairy and Clure. Yes i have had a sh*te time but as i've found out from MN i'm not alone. Not sure where i'd be without the support of other MN's .
My heart goes out to your friend fairy it truly is an awful, heartbreaking time. I hope she has been able to move on with her life.
Looks like we are cycle buddies fairy i'm on CD11. I have my 2nd scan on Tuesday so will see if a follicle has grown

Aww Clure - hope your feeling a bit more in the party mood - go have some fun!!!!

I bloody hope so with the Ov!!!!! Not sure if I'm getting my hopes up, being really practical, or deperate! So far on this clomid my cycle has generally been 28 days except that very long one of 59 days!

CD12 today so it could be!!!! Hoping the baby germs for the past two days have worked.

hi all

welcome popsy, you have had a rough time of it. Hopefully like stac the metformin will work for you.

Fairy, you sound like your in a good place at the mo, sounds like ov is happening for you!

hi stac and milly

I'm not sure where I am in cycle now, since september i have had one period, thinking it must be around CD 65, may even do another pg test before I think about using the provera. Have had a busy few days and this morning did a long run and think my hormones must be playing up cos all the jiggling about running has upset my uterus prolapse and have spent this afternoon having a lie down (unheard of!) with a hot water bottle! feeling better now though and geeing myself up for a friends 40th birthday bash this evening!

Welcome Popsy!
Gotta say Feb seems the worst time to have a baby - this feb coming will be the 2nd anniversary of my friend losing her little boy who was stillborn. Big hugs (()). I'm on cycle 5 of clomid, first attempt at trying for a baby although it's now over 2 years since we started trying!

Hi stac, clure jobo & Milly

I feel so shattered & I haven't really done much. Seen my fam over the past 3 days. Got some more baby germs from my new nephew. DH's bro has been staying here cos he's been working over the hols & we live close to work so he comes in from work, has a few drinks, passes out & back to work (his idea of heaven! )

BDing going well as I think I might be ovulating at the mo - egg white type discharge yesterday evening so BDed as soon as back from my sisters & then again this morning!

Hope everyone is now relaxing!

Hello ladies i hope you have all had a lovley christmas.
I hope you don't mind me jumping on this thread but the other clomid thread seems to be a little quiet lately, this one always seems so active ! Some of you use that one as well, hello stac [fsmie].

A lttle about my 'situation'. Currently on 6th month of clomid (now on cd11) this month combined with metformin plus they are going to scan me again this month. I have a 13yr old boy, conceived naturally, then 9 months of clomid without success. We believed it 'wasnt meant to be' so carried on with life as the 3 of us. Fell pregnant last october naturally but went into premature labour in february this year due to an infection. Unfortunately he was too prem to survive . It's been a really tough few months to say the least and to be honest i've really struggled.

Anyway, as i said i hope you don't mind me jumping on board, i've found mumsnets support invaluable.

Happy christmas to you all and i really hope 2010 is a good year for us all.
xx

happy christmas to all!

Hope you all get some bd-ing over the holiday period.
Boxing day should be the beginning of my fertile period so will spend the next few days in bed. As hosp won't give me a scan I have to try to guess it for myself.

What days are we all on?
I'm CD 9.

Hope Santa brings us all so hope for 2010 being our year!!!

Hi all,
Not even nearly ready for Christmas but enjoying last hour of peace before we head out the door to MIL.

Started the Clomid last night, rang the clinic to tell them and got told off as I can't have my scan on a Bank Holiday...didn't think it was worth explaining that the timing wasn't by choice!!

Work sent me on an 8 hour round train trip on Tuesday and I've only just thawed out, think DH was a bit puzzled when I came back with a large bottle of Baileys! After the last 4 hours on the train thinking about what I would like to do to warm up, Baileys and a hot water bottle in bed seemed the only answer.

Thanks for all the advice about drinking-a glass of wine sounds like a good idea now I think about MIL...?

Also got my IUI talk letter through today for February, keeping everything crossed I won't need to go.

Glittery Baileys baby dust to all......!

jobobpip08 · 23/12/2009 21:11

Hi fairy
I had my scan yesterday and only one follicle this time, but its huge, 27mm x 25mm (its been quite an education how big follicles can get, no wonder we get so twingey!) and you only need one, so they gave me my jab and I should be o'ing tonight. just as well as DH is at work tomorrow and there would be no chance xmas day! Fingers crossed for us all, xxx

Fairygodmother1 · 23/12/2009 19:30

Hi Jobo - Ditto for all the above xmas prep, including egg!!! I'm hoping that'll be my xmas present as it's too late for a positive test. Fertilised egg would be perfect. It's what DH is hoping for too!

Hi all

DS is 5 1/2 and the testosterone is already kicking in. So glad he won't smell for a few years!

Well, thats me all organised, food bought, pressies all wrapped, friends visited, house kind of tidy and one egg waiting for fertilisation. Do you think Santa can help with that Xmas pressie ??!!!

ye stac got provera . thank u everone for support.hopeing my af comes in the next couple of days i was due them today

stac14 · 22/12/2009 22:03

euw smelly boy, hes not like that yet but think thats cos I make him bathe all the time lol. other than that you actually described ds to a tee fairy, he went from a mild mannered boy to a stroppy wee sod lol ohh the joys

Well done clure on making your own costume for the nativty, I was in asda last week and burst out laughing, they had actual virgin mary costumes complete with baby. Nativity at our school consisted to tea towels over your head and some fake beards lol

I hope you all get your time soon ladies you all deserve it xxxx

stac - I'm afraid I have no advice - they go from one extream to the other. Although girls get their hormones first boys are terrible. I think it's training for adults. They can't look for things properly, get humpy easily & generally moody! This year group is when they start getting a little smelly too!

Clur - I really do hope this is the month! Really don't want to go down the IUI route! I want the Clomid to work!!!!!

stac - lol at your hormonal son! They can be a bit of a challenge at that age, I have to say I prefer the younger children. I only organised the children's secret santa, although santa himself was absent feeding reindeer I suspect!

Fairy and millymolly maybe this is your lucky cycle

I've just finished making DD an angel costume for her to wear to the nativity on Christmas eve at the church attached to DD's school. I'm so excited about it. The costume was a bargain, bought a white sheet at the charity shop for £1 and run it up on the sewing machine, just got to stitch some silver sparklies round the neckline.
Finished my shopping today and just got a couple more things to wrap plus a final hoover and tidy of house

stac14 · 22/12/2009 17:39

Do you have a supply of provera milly the doc gave me them on prescription because I had to keep using them for af lol. I'm good thanks hun, will be 11 weeks this week can't believe it

fairy thats my sons age, he is going into hormonal overdrive at the moment it's like living with kevin and perry any suggestions as to how i stop the moods lol xx
