hi - sounds good jools

ebay cheapie negative, period not here, still feel sore.

will try to write more later

Joolsiam · 11/09/2009 09:02

Glad to see you are stil lurking Kaylo

Another symptom I forgot - mild seasickness feeling coming in waves every now and then, coupled with slightly increased saliva (I think).

Oh, and I've been up since 7am, had one cup of tea have just had my third wee of the morning

I can't believe I can possibly be imagining ALL these symptoms, but am worried now - I thought with all that is going on, there must be enough hormone sloshing around to show on an early test ...

Bit worried now - I've been so certain - am I about to come crashing down to earth ?

Kaylo · 11/09/2009 08:51

jools I have to say you certainly sound pregnant!! I have every one of those symptoms that you just said - including TMI one

Joolsiam · 11/09/2009 08:45

Well I did try a Fist Response just now (AF due Mon / Tues) but it wasn't first morning urine and was a BFN. I only tried it because Im supposed to contact the EPU as soon as I get a BFP, but I'm working away Mon / Tues and on hols for a week from Wed.

I think it is just too early (hope) - still got huge boobs, sore nipples, white lumps coming up. Lower abdomen feels full and tender - couldn't sleep on my front last night. Very gassy, very very tired, no sign of PMT and (TMI coming up), "pushing" on the loo made my lower abdomen ache.

I may go into town at lunchtime, get more early tests and try and save up some stronger wee - otherwise, if the EPU want to prescribe progesterone, I won't be able to get it for nearly 2 weeks

Kaylo · 10/09/2009 20:55

I think you're all still in with a chance - symptom spotting doesn't work, it's fun but all the symptoms seem to be the same as AF symptoms

I'm gonna lurk so I can spy on all your testing results Hope you don't mind

Evening - no period yet . sharp pains through my fanjo and womb area.

snow I'm trying to hold off a couple of days - but I think if my period doesn't appear tomorrow I'll be very tempted to test Saturday.

welcome mrsws as snow said, this is a nuthouse!

SnowBunny1 · 10/09/2009 17:56

Kaylo thanks for your encouragment to Curly, I just came on to post a panic post that I have AF cramps at CD27 and read your post about having them with a BFP. I could still be in with a chance then. My hopes survive another day. Hoping to join you on that May bus

Welcomemrsws you are most definatley not alone, welcome to the mad house I hope you collected your straight jacket on the way in - to keep you away from the HPT's before time All nutters together

anyone testing soon, i'm going to try and hold off until next week if i can, that is a really bigif

mrsws · 10/09/2009 15:56

HELLO

Can I join in? Havent posted before so not sure of all of the anagrams but i recon i am picking them up ok!
I am nearing the end of my 2WW. I'm normally 30 day cycle but came off the pill and only had one cycle since that did'nt last as long (normaly 5 days only 4) that was 18/08/09 so based on alot of ifs & maybes I should be due on 14/15th september. My best friend has just found out she is 7 weeks - EDD my birthday and I think thats making me imagine poss signs! Had signs with my DS but did'nt know at the time. Certainly did'nt 'just know' I was pregnant like every1 says you will. Glad there are others in the same boat dont quite feel like such a nutter now! x

Sweetpeasmum · 10/09/2009 11:55

No news from me yet. The only symptoms I remember noticing from DS were the boobs! I wasn't being too scientific when trying last time which is playing havoc with my symptom spotting this time. I have all sorts of grumps and am desperately trying to remember if I've had them before.

I'm holding off testing until Mon or Tues which is when AF is due but that seems a long way off. I didn't do a test until I was over a week late last time and this hanging around not knowing is driving me nuts! I'm only on Cycle 2 so I could be going mad for some months to come.

Hope everyone is OK and good luck to us all!

Joolsiam · 10/09/2009 10:54

Kaylo - when I was on the May 09 thread , my EDD was May 29th, so I would definitely have been the last to deliver !!

this time round, I think my EDD would be May 24th if I get the result I'm so, so hoping for - not testing till Sunday or Monday as I loathe early testing, but want to know early enough to tell the EPU before I go on hols on Wed - all this planning is going to be my downfall when the witch arrives on Monday

Kaylo · 10/09/2009 10:49

Please someone come and join me on the May a/n thread as up to now I'm expected to be the last to deliver!! I don't to be on my own near the end of pg!!

I've gotta go now as ds needs to get ready for nursery but will pop back this evening or tomorrow and I hope for graduates

Spirael · 10/09/2009 10:44

Doh, I should proof read better!

Mentally edit: "I don't tend to be rather hard to hit with anything..." to "I do tend to be rather hard to hit with anything..." will you?

Thanks!

Spirael · 10/09/2009 10:42

Hi all, just checking in for today.

Nothing new to report... All symptoms have vanished for the last day or two, so I'm back to being pretty convinced that nothing is happening this month. I'm trying for my first, so I'm not sure exactly how my body will react, but I get the feeling it's meant to do something!

Mind you, there is still that little hopeful voice behind my ear. I don't tend to be rather hard to hit with anything... I haven't thrown up since I was a child, I've never fainted, I rarely have stomach upsets of any kind in either direction! I just get a cold now and then, which I sleep off over 48 hours usually. So maybe... Maybe I'll not have too many symptoms?

Or alternatively, a lifetime worth of symptoms will suddenly catch up with me and I'll have no idea how to deal with them!! LOL.

I'm still crossing my fingers for everyone this weekend! Hopefully we'll get a load of BFPs to brighten the day, along with the sunshine that seems to be predicted across most of the country.

Joolsiam · 10/09/2009 10:08

Curly - it is really really common for people to be convinced AF is on her way when that BFP pops up - keep the faith

Good to see you Kaylo I have to confess to having a little lurk on the May a/n thread, wondering if I may be joining - setting myself up for a big fall

Well, today's non-symptom is sore nipples - I'm working in quite a cold office and am definitely very aware of them - then I wonder if I am imagining it all

CurlyCasper · 10/09/2009 10:04

Oh kay you are my hero this morning. I'm going to take your info, raise my smile and hope for a full house. (and then blame you when it all goes wrong ) hee hee

Kaylo · 10/09/2009 09:59

Well I read about it and it says can happen 1-2 days before AF due - so I guess it can

I still have AF type cramps so thats normal too

fingers crossed!!!

CurlyCasper · 10/09/2009 09:56

Aww shucks kaylo it's good to know you care. Hope you and the bean are well. Can implantation happen so close to when period is due and hurt like it too? (please, delude me a little longer!)

Kaylo · 10/09/2009 09:52

All is not lost curly It could be implantation

Sorry, I'm a serial lurker and want to see how you all get on

xxxx

CurlyCasper · 10/09/2009 09:49

Cm tinged red and cramps - pretty sure period is on its way. Bugger! I will have to step away from the 2ww thread at this rate. But will test tomorrow is AF not made a proper appearance.

CurlyCasper · 09/09/2009 15:39

snow no, not testing today. After being conned into it yesterday, I'm hanging back. Last two cycles (first off the pill) were 34 and 29 days. It's day 27 today, so I'm going to wait a bit - and stick to cheapies when I start! (I have several)

However, I am starting to experience period-like pains. across hips, round lower back and into pelvis, plus wetness, so am frantically knicker checking - more to prevent damage to nice cream trousers than anything else!

Good luck all of you - and welcome and luck to tish

TishTosh21 · 09/09/2009 15:24

Just started TTC. Wish me luck!

Joolsiam · 09/09/2009 13:18

Good luck Spirael I'm 9DPO today

I had one BFP when all I was was brown implantation bleeding at 13DPO and one where I had red spotting at around 7DPO

Looking back on my notes of the 2WW leading to a BFP this time last year, I noticed my first real symptoms at 8DPO (fizzy, hot nipples), then nothing till 11DPO when I felt a poking sensation near my belly button. So, I think it is pretty normal for symptoms to come and go. I don't seem to be feeling much now, so am doubting myself again !

Spirael · 09/09/2009 12:31

I think I'm the same as you, Joolsiam. I was trying not to think too much on everything, but on Monday I was having what felt a lot like period pains or like I'd been doing waaay too many stomach crunches. I was partially convinced that AF was going to jump me a week early, rather than just two days early like last cycle. But temps are still up and no trace of her.

I'm not sure exactly when I ovulated, but my temperature checking puts it at around the 30th August. DH and I made sure to cover most of the week surrounding then with the necessary antics, so there's a chance. I guess I'd have been on around 9dpo on Monday... Does anyone know if that sounds about right for possible implantation? And traces of blood isn't a necessary feature, is it?

The cramps had faded away by Tuesday and now I'm back to feeling pretty much normal again. (My shoulder hurts, but I think I just slept on it weirdly!) So I'm not entirely sure whether Monday's discomfort was all in my head, or what! No other symptoms at all, at present.

I keep jumping between optimistically hopeful to being more pessimistically pragmatic. I'll feel like a bit of a fool if I go running around all excitedly only to have AF sneak up and bite me over the weekend, after all!

Has anyone tested yet? I'm so tempted to pick up some First Response in town today, but then I convince myself it's a waste of money and I may as well wait until the weekend to see if anything comes up on the Tesco cheapies.

Joolsiam · 09/09/2009 10:05

oooh - sounds good Snowbunny What CD are you on ??

I convinced myself yesterday that I was definitely PG and feeling implantation - felt really excited and happy. Doubted myself this morning, but now have slight abdomen twinges and am starting to wonder again .

I resolved not to symptom spot this time as it just means I come crashing down when AF arrives, but I just can't help it

My name is Joolsiam and I'm a symptom addict

SnowBunny1 · 09/09/2009 09:40

Ok, I might have to start obsessing a bit more now.

2 days ago I had some sharp cramps and then today I've woken up with lots of cm. kind of slippery but not the same as ov cm, iykwim. More creamy but not as creamy as at other times am i making sense?

Also, comepletely gone off alcohol which for me is just unheard of + very achey left leg. It feels very sensetive to the touch and aches all the time. I had something similar from about 28wks weeks with DD.

I've gone back through the thread to look at other info re cm and firstly I am getting excited by the other reports of cm spotting and secondly am surprised by how many BFP's there have been.

I can't test for a while as I won't put myself through the dissappointment, plus I don't have any in the house just to make sure.

Curly are you testing today?
