mrsws · 18/09/2009 02:02

Well its very late (or very early depending how u look at it!) and i am off to bed! Will be testin in the morning wen I get up - so hopefully will have better news when I come back!

Dont loose hope Curly!

Night night x

CurlyCasper · 17/09/2009 19:19

I've just about given up on testing mrsws. Going to wait a bit now. Away for a long weekend, so will probably rethink when I get back. what about you?

mrsws · 17/09/2009 16:56

Hello!

So much for 2ww - still no AF at this end either! Fingers crossed for the morning - I have come to the colnclusion that my cycle was well messed up by evil pill and I will have a BFN. But heard some really sad news this morning about an old friend I've caught up with on FB Kinda makes you put stuff in perspective so not gonna be too upset if it is a BFN - still lots of time to get a BFP and a 2YO DS to keep me busy in the mean time! Altho... I'm not sure what EWCM stands for exactly, but I kno what you are talking about - so joining Curly and Snow on that one! Maybe a good sign for all of us!

When is every1 testing/due to test again?

CurlyCasper · 17/09/2009 12:39

snow i think CB says anytime if testing after AF was due, but no matter what, the HCG is always stronger in First Morning Urine (FMU) so that's when you'll get an accurate result. In some people the hormone takes a few weeks to build up, so testing first thing will always give you the best chance of seeing your BFP.

I still don't have one by the way - or AF.
But I can join you in the excessive EWCM - seems like the wrong time to be having that so I'm hoping it's a good sign.

stay hopeful tickle snow and mrsws x

Ticklepeanut · 17/09/2009 11:14

Not a symptom in sight for me, so I was a bit down, but I've just read Spirael's earlier post about not having any despite her BFP, so I'm feeling a bit more hopeful.

Sorry about your AF Jools but you're right, it'll be a plus to be able to drink on holiday

AF is due just in time for my hols in just over a week, so I'll most likely be cursing her for turning up to spoil my fun.

Fingers crossed Curly, Mrsws and Snow?

SnowBunny1 · 17/09/2009 07:24

Curly yeah did the test just before. I thought you could test any time with a CB.

Feel a bit down this am as really thought there was a chance. Still no AF though so I guess it's not over till its over.

I do have an ache down there this am though, like i'm due on. Maybe it's coming.
I have also had an unusual amount of EWCM (sorry tmi) in the last few days, anyone got any ideas on why? Oh well, just keep waiting i guess.

Good luck for you curly, hoping that the pains are a good sign.

CurlyCasper · 16/09/2009 19:37

snow did you just test? Cause first morning urine is more likely to give the right result.

good on you for waiting mrsws and sorry about AF jools

I have no AF but a new development - stretch/pull type pains below my belly button. Very strange. Hoping it's a sign...

SnowBunny1 · 16/09/2009 18:58

Evening All

mrsws i went a bit loopy on microgynon, violent, moody, spotty, emotional. It took me a while to work out the problem, then came off of it and hey presto back to normal.

Well, I bought a cbhpt yesterday at tesco and just now hubby relented and told me to test as still no af. BFN. Really gutted as thought we'd timed it right etc etc. That said, it looks like my cycle could be quite long, great when not ttc, a nightmare when desperatley want to.

That said, am now sat with glass of red thinking about lovely food and wine next week on hols plus all the diving I'll now be doing. Come on AF don't spoil the party.

Any news from anyone else?

mrsws · 16/09/2009 18:17

How is every1 today? Any BFP's?

I am still without AF! But going to wait till friday to test again - still not sure if my cycle is back to normal after I stopped the pill I was on. Previously before DS I had been on Depo and cycle came back after 3 months to 30 days bang on. Started depo again after he was born, then on to pill thinking it would come out of system quicker when we wanted to TTC again. BIG MISTAKE - the pill I was on made me quite loopy to say the least. By the time I had realised and googled it I found lots of warnings from other ladies in the same boat. Just hoping it did'nt muck my cycle up too! It should be discontinued! Any one else had any probs with CERAZETTE or another pill? My sister and best mate had similar probs too.

Anyway sorry for rambling - hope every1 ok today and have a great time to those going on hols! x

Joolsiam · 15/09/2009 21:35

Well I think that AF has finally decided to arrive - uncharacterisically late. Oh well, I knew deep down a few days ago - was just hanging on to hope.

At least I can DRINK on holiday now

Will doubtless see a few people on an obsessive symptom spotting thread starting in a couple of weeks

Kaylo · 15/09/2009 21:25

erm.....should have said Barcelona

sorry!

Kaylo · 15/09/2009 21:25

Hi just a quick message before I meltdown de-stress with a coffee.

jools Sorry about the BFN's chick! Have a great holiday tho!!!

Curly and snowbunny I'm doing great thank you for asking - still kind of symptom free. Just little things like cramps and feeling full. Have been considering doing another test just to make sure I am pregnant. Well, that was before exhaustion hit me like a wall this morning Have been a walking zombie all day!!

I hope you're all well! I'll be back on Monday to check on all your BFP's (hopefully). And I'll tell you all about Barcelone

xxx

mrsws · 15/09/2009 21:06

Good evening!

Any news to report yet? I keep checking on here - think i am now more obsessed with every1 on here than my own symptoms. Which currently include hunger! Also still feel pretty rough (have done all day) and no sign of AF yet but pretty sure she is on her way. Like snow gonna test friday if I get that far without her!

Good luck x

Ticklepeanut · 15/09/2009 11:50

Hi Cat, hi Mrsws

I'm probably on the wrong thread, as I only started my first 2WW a couple of days ago, but it is so useful as a first-time TTCer to be able to see what symptoms other people are getting. The stuff in baby books is so unreal-sounding!

Good luck everyone!

PS - extra love to those of you on a Mac They rule!

CurlyCasper · 15/09/2009 09:46

Hi all and welcome to the late new comers.

Yes I am still here snow, had my parents visiting for a few days so didn't manage much MN time. still no period and have tested every few days - all neg. Ebay cheapie said no this morning. Just waiting...

jools From what I've read, i wouldn'd expect to see a BFP until a few days after spotting, so don't give up hope!

cat just give in and indulge! I'm off as well today, hence the MN time while OH has a lie-in. Off house-hunting today.

cat28 · 15/09/2009 08:56

Morning all. I should be at work today but DS has been told to stay away from nursery because of his 'loose bowels'. Groan. So I am stuck at home.

I am trying to be good and not read too many pregnancy threads or watch any TV. But it's not easy!

I hope everyone is well xx

PS SnowBunny Hash key thing was driving me nuts, so I googled it and ta da:
########!!! (Alt+3)

Joolsiam · 15/09/2009 08:38

Morning all - still no AF and spotting stopped overnight, so I tested this morning - BFN

Presumably AF has just decided to arrive late in order to interfere with my holiday

Still have sore boobs, still no PMT ...

confused

mrsws · 15/09/2009 08:33

Good morning

Welcome Cat seems there are a few of us who have joined in late! Good luck for a few days time!

Jools sorry to hear that - hopefully we will both be able to give better news later but if it aint this month we can carry on practicing! sorry TMI!

How is every1 this morning? I feel rough! like I've been out on the pop all night starting to think I am just coming down with something tho. Could'nt wait for the morning and did a CB last night - Got a BFN! Gutted! still not really sure if I should be getting AF today or tomorrow tho as I am starting to think that the pill I was on (that made me crackers!) might have messed me up abit. Prob just coming down with a cold. Wont really know until she comes! Think I will just have to wait it out tho now. If it does'nt happen by friday maybe then I might do another CB. Sorry for sounding soo negative this early in the morning!

So the sun is shining - today could be the day for the rest of you! So how about every1 else?

I am off to work - Good luck to anyone testing today!

SnowBunny1 · 15/09/2009 08:31

Morning All

Welcome to tickle and Cat and if I missed you beforemrsws

Fingers crossed for you Jools - any news? I tested last week with a Boots cheapie and had a BFN but think I may have been a bit too early. I don't have any more in the house and am resisting buying any.

Curly hope you're still with us. When are you going to test next?

Hi Kaylo, glad you're still looking in on us - how are you feeling?

CD 32 I have been feeling fine, no real symptoms other than (here comes way tmi) lots of cm, clear though and a bit gluey iykwim. Cat i was the same as you, thought AF had arrived. I am fairly bloated as well but thats it. Also, if you manage to find the hash key on your mac, please tell me where it is as i have the same prob

DH has agreed to test on friday, he's been in denial since we began ttc and it was causing a big problem, but when I told him that I could be this cycle he actually looked quite excited and is asking everyday if AF has arrived.

We decided friday as then that makes me cd35 and it should be def by then, plus his parents are here wed/thurs and we go on holiday on monday - yipeee

Have a good day, I'll check in later for any news

xx

Joolsiam · 14/09/2009 23:35

Well update from me is I have no real news - no AF yet, no cramps, no PMT - just a bit of brown spotting that hasn't conformed to normal pre AF spotting, and I was expecting to be certain by now.

I don't feel PG and have actually gone and got myself a pad to wear to sleep in, as I can't believe it won't be all over by the morning. If it isn't, I have two Boots tests burning a hole in my overnight bag (am away on business) I've got to the point where I can't cope with the uncertainty any more and just desperately need an end to this 2WW

It will be 15DPO tomorrow and my normal luteal phase is 14 days, so I think AF is now just about officially late and I have a clockwork cycle, to the hour

cat28 · 14/09/2009 21:25

Hi everyone.

I have been lurking for a few weeks now, but this lovely thread has prompted me to show my face.

I already have a DS (nearly 21 months) and we are TTC No 2. (Can't find the 'hash' key on my Mac...)

My cycles are pretty crazy. Sometimes no period for a couple of months then maybe 35 days. Unbelievably with OPKs DS was conceived first cycle!!

Now on cycle no 3. Last cycle I went a bit mad with First Ripoff Response, testing waaaaaay too early after Ov.

Now on CD38, 10DPO. I have felt mega-bloated for the past few days. TMI alert: On the way to work this morning I felt so much CM though AF had arrived early! Also feel exhausted and am writing this from under my duvet.

Fighting the urge to POAS, especially as DH is away and I want him to be here to read the CB digital screen with me.

Catxx

mrsws · 14/09/2009 20:56

Hello Every1

Welcome Ticklepeanut! Dont worry I only joined in last week so I am new too!

Just thought I would see how every1 is doing today. Especially those due AF 14/15 like me! I am currently trying to decide whether or not to do a CB now or wait till tomorrow?
Sympoms are still about but - like Jools I have convinced myself that its not happened this time! (But there is still hope!) Altho I have felt pretty like car sick on n off for the last week and constantly over the weekend. I did get like a car sickness a week or so before my first and not with AF - Ooooh I dont know! think its 50/50!

Hows every1 else?

Ticklepeanut · 14/09/2009 16:50

Hello all. New to MN so please bear with me while I learn all the abbreviations! Just started TTC#1, so a bit all over the shop with dates etc, but think I got around the right sort of time. Just waiting to see what happens?
