OOOh - Hope this'll do! Emergency!

OP posts:

Right. Can't sleep. Have decided to be as mellow as possible during 2WOOFL. My Pink StuffTM could easily be just one of those harmless menstrual anomalies, and the womb activity could be the same, or even trapped wind v low down in my gut, which I'm mistaking for a different area. No tender boobs yet, but no mastalgia either, which is usual sign of impending R2D2. But mastalgia can also be sign of updiff. Confusing.
So am going to stop convincing myself I'm pg and try not to worry and overthink everything (ie have a complete character change).

Looking forward to hearing good POAS news from gin tomorrow, fingers crossed

idealcamel · 26/08/2009 22:19

Have to admit that my judgy-pants are non-existent.9 As a certified lush, and dodgy hippy, I worry that if I get all judgetastic about other mothers then I'll have some kind of epic pregnancy fail. I am also enough of a lunatic during the 2woofl without denying myself the comfort of gin...

ginhag · 26/08/2009 21:53

too TO! I can fucking spell!

ginhag · 26/08/2009 21:51

Of course medee that's a sensible approach. It's just not one I'm very good at sticking too...at the risk of rousing any judgypants I am drinking tonight as I don't know if I'm diffed (am not drinking lots tho)

the spritzer idea sounds good. When I got diffed with mani everyone knew in seconds as I was in the pub, and Not Drinking (told you I'm a lush )

in fact on my 2WOOFL with him I had a tequila bender as I was sure I would never get pregnant

Medee · 26/08/2009 21:43

thanks Gin.

Well, it's just in case I did conceive, but I did have a little wine tonight.

ginhag · 26/08/2009 21:41

medee 2 Weeks Of Obsessive Fucking Lunacy.

So yeah 2WOOFL.

Personally I drink as normal during this time. But then I am a lush

Medee · 26/08/2009 21:35

found you all!

Fingers crossed the line gets stronger, gin.

for those of you in the 2WW (is that what you mean by 2WOOFLING?), and not drinking, what do you tell your mates? I'm seeing mine on Friday, and not drinking wine will be very unusual for me. I was thinking of ordered white wine spritzer, then just getting extra soda each round therafter.

Scorpette · 26/08/2009 21:35

I worry about Underage And Pregnant - it makes me so mad/sad that I worry my judgeypants will set themselves on fire with righteous anger and burn my ovaries to a crisp.

CurlyCasper · 26/08/2009 21:02

glad I'm not alone ski. Just watched a welsh 16 year old pop out a beautiful week girl on Underage and Preggers. Judgey pants got all damp with baby-hunger flutters

idealcamel · 26/08/2009 21:00

Waiting for bus in rain which is rapidly rendering haircut pointless. Gah. And feet are killing me. And colleague brought adorable baby to work AND had the cheek to refuse my kind offer to take said baby home with me. Bum.

skihorse · 26/08/2009 20:48

Casper I cry when people give birth on telly too.

CurlyCasper · 26/08/2009 20:40

are we all sitting comfortably with our extra large judgey pants on as Underage and Pregnant is on? hhhmmpphhhfffffff

scorp a fellow crip - I'll drink to that!

CurlyCasper · 26/08/2009 19:37

stepping back a leg length from gin to protect pearlies and allowing her TGF to be excluded from the sweeping mentwats statement

scorp I know - that baby was a squareheaded bruiser. I think they should leave it as tadpole - it will be character-building

Scorpette · 26/08/2009 19:34

PS I am actually registered disabled cos of weird health probs (don't worry, I'm not as ill as that makes me sound) and wear specs and suspect I'm going slowly deaf, a la Dad and Gran - does this make me the resident cripple?

Scorpette · 26/08/2009 19:28

Poor gin! There's no point telling you not to go mental till tomorrow because a) you know you will and b) who am I to talk? I do think a thin line is a line so I SOOOOO hope you get a much clearer TFFT/BFP tomorrow morning (is the first wee of the day the best for testing with?)

Casper - but what are they going to call the baby? It's remarkably unwrinkled for a supposed premature newborn. Erm, not that I watched Neighbours. Obviously not. Ahem

Poor Iggy - Igs, if you're lurking, we heart you

PS Bessie - loved your [jd emoticon]: v funny, v clever, v naughty. That's one I might nick!

ginhag · 26/08/2009 19:25

Ooo my weird loyalty setting just kicked in.now it's okay for me to insult him if necessary, but if you do I'm afraid I will have to kick your teeth in

CurlyCasper · 26/08/2009 19:16

got to love those mentwats. gin. When are you actually due RTOD? Sure a test near then will have a much better result.

Right, exceptionally pissed off now that SFF is not here when I am ripe for updiffing. stuck at home with the dog and the laptop, last night's EastEnders and chocolate. And I fuckin cried at the girl in Neighbours having a baby.

ginhag · 26/08/2009 19:04

Oh a lovely quote to mark the occasion

me - I think I'm pregnant
tgf (the grumpy fella) - what, again?!

ginhag · 26/08/2009 19:01

I am having a fucking beer.seeing as no fucker round here thinks I am fucking pregnant.

fuck fuck fuck fuck

and also 'what the fuck?'

ginhag · 26/08/2009 18:54

camel I do all my besh-related chat via iPhone.toddlers and laptops don't mix well.

Also I'm a tosser

ginhag · 26/08/2009 18:52

Mr gin says it is not a positive, merely a blemish

maybe I actually am mental.

idealcamel · 26/08/2009 18:41

God, the suspense! Am officially v excited for youse. Lack of line surely only because your pee was diluted.

Am in hairdressers with new iPhone. Can already see that new toy is not going to help with obsessive beshing. Also look like a tosser.

ginhag · 26/08/2009 18:40

Yeah it's bizarre the career choices some people make!

Oo Charlie and lola time.my favourite

Bessie123 · 26/08/2009 18:30

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you (and try not to be too ) Will be swi for the next week so hope to join you in general neurosis shortly.

I think the woman in the clinic is more of a stupid cow because her whole job revolves around pregnant women and she can't even tell if someone is pregnant.

ginhag · 26/08/2009 18:28

Thanks beshie (though I won't go as far as to call my mate a cow!) to be fair before she had her dd she had several early mc's so is naturally less likely to get carried away I guess.sort of wish I hadn't shown her tho!

Actually have to see the doc tomorrow am.wonder if he fancies doing a bloodtest to humour an old loon?
