at your headline ski. cheggs I can't see why you wouldn't want that in print!!

ideal that sounds like the perfect lunch. I hope the actual food intake was just something like a couple of peanuts you found under your barstool?

skihorse · 04/09/2009 15:42

haha cheggs you loon! DM headline "gin chugging mid-30s cheggers has 72 IVF babies" - obviously the by-line will be "selfish bitch by-passes NHS queues using banker hubby's bonus".

cheggers · 04/09/2009 15:34

but i don't want the daily mail to know

longwee · 04/09/2009 15:32

Cheggers don't you dare stop posting here until you tell us how many friggin babies you've got in there!!!

cheggers · 04/09/2009 15:27

the whole thing fucking stinks.

puts me off posting here at all

idealcamel · 04/09/2009 15:27

Aw, we're actually having a conversation about fertility and temping. Pony Definitely sign up for fertilityfriend, then you can torture yourself by looking at the "how much chance do you have to be pregnant" thing that it does after you ovulate. Plus you don't have to make the graphs yourself.

CHEGGS - are you still super-sized? How're you feeling?

I had a large glass of red wine at lunch today - for the iron, you understand - and it's made me feel much better about the continued babyfail...

laurielou · 04/09/2009 15:23

Yes please longwee - got any cream?

I'm off to have a look around the DM related mallarkey.....

longwee · 04/09/2009 15:15

It's turning into quite a good scrap actually, am rather enjoying it since it's gone a bit quiet in here.

Anyone want a strawberry?

skihorse · 04/09/2009 15:11

Funny - I've actually been collecting data the last week for a company audit - a lot of the responses have been along the "bovvered, am I?" lines - but now I see I can convert these in to "loves it" - everyone happy!

longwee · 04/09/2009 14:51

Update on dailymailgate The poll on the matter is clearly going in favour of no MN column in the DM in any circumstances - so MHHQ are adding up the other votes and saying that combined they outvote not having the column! Shocking!

Ponymum · 04/09/2009 14:29

Thanks cheggers.

skihorse · 04/09/2009 14:21

When we're real parents will we feel compelled to join badly-spelled sign-waving mobs?

cheggers HOW MANY BABIES YA GOT? [GRIN]

cheggers · 04/09/2009 14:07

curly nice chart

ponymum no! you don't need to buy a farenheit thermometer. you just need to make sure the celcius one you have measures to 2 decimal places.

check the book again. the charts at the back include both celcius and farenheit. the first chart in the master Charts chapter (p 478) is the one you want.

fertilty friend charts are a bit easier to use though. saves faffing about copying from the book.

CurlyCasper · 04/09/2009 13:50

I temp in celcius. For a wonderful example of how your chart should not look, see mine in my profile pics...

laurielou · 04/09/2009 13:41

fuc.king? What's with the full stop? Idiot!

laurielou · 04/09/2009 13:39

I've got the Boots book & thermometer too. All I would say is don't expect your chart to look like the neat little example. My temps are all over the fuc.king place. GP still says I OV'd though.

Oh, & the thermometer is for your mouth......

Cosmosis · 04/09/2009 13:10

I bought the book and thermometer from boots www.boots.com/en/Boots-Digital-Thermometer-Fertility-Diary_6344/ after reading the book cos then I didn't have to think about the celcius / farenheit thing!

Ponymum · 04/09/2009 12:45

Shock horror, I have a TTC question. Is anyone else using the Fertitlity Awareness Method as per the Taking Charge of Your Fertility book? I am going to start charting in an effort to understand my mental cycle (now CD36, no RTOD, 3 x BFNs ). Problem is the book and the charts provided are all in Farenheit. I of course have a Celcius thermometer. Do I need to go and find a F one or does it not really matter since all I am looking for is the trend in temperature change?

So sorry to be so BOOOORING. Here, I've made a round of wicked dill vodkatinis for everyone. Help yourself.

skihorse · 04/09/2009 10:51

cosmosis It wasn't blurred. That's just how it looks. There is nothing left you can blind my mind's eye with - bring on Cosmosis and the vaginal birth series!

Cosmosis · 04/09/2009 10:27

extreme, I too answered your job post only in my head, but my response was along the lines of; if they don't employ you they are fucktards with clearly not enough sense to be in charge of employing anyone. Enjoy your hols and here's one of those extending arm comedy boxing glove thingys for you to take with you and commit violence at least once a day upon yourself so you don't miss us all too much.

ski I have inspected your faxed fanny, and though somewhat blurry, it does seem you are also due for a boil becuase of sweating too much in tight jodhpurs. I'd get exfoliating now. I recommend a wire brush, or perhaps a brillo pad.

In the spirit of sharing, as seems to be my wont lately, the penicillin is playing havoc with my digestive system and I seem to be pooing piss. Nice.

CurlyCasper · 04/09/2009 09:21

hee hee ski, I do have a filofax (old one with a truly sexy denim cover mmmm), unfortunately it doesn't give me access to emails, T'interweb and office software when working, quite literally, in the field...

Enjoy your free pass!

skihorse · 04/09/2009 09:04

Morning everyone - nearly weekend hurrah! I'm now post-OV so all I can do is get stuck in to the gin nicely. jailbait is off to glasgow next week for 2 weeks so I have FREE PASS! Oh yes, watch me flaunt my singleness - I'll be walking the dogs/riding the horse/going to work/cooking - all of it sans permission!

I think it's a great idea to include the cunty word cunt more around here - not enough cuntishness and it should keep the Daily Cunt Heil away. Did you see the comments left on the mail website? I was howling. Mrs F'Anjo, Y. ABU, etc., etc. from Bodenshire.

extreme I'm so pleased you're off on hols - you need a break - and obviously the chance to stock up on duty-free!

Curly Have you tried a filofax?

extremesitting · 04/09/2009 07:28

Morning! I've just sneaked in pre-breakfast to say I am about to have the most mentally busy day but I'm hoping to get back to you lot for fishlapping and nipple tweaking before I jet off on me hols. I don't know why you needed to know that. I just felt like sharing
