Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

business* doh lol.

Meanbeansmum · 29/08/2009 21:24

Oh and forgot to say, parents and family on fb, they don't know I am ttc (none of their usiness lol....they'd only have something to say about it lol!).

Meanbeansmum · 29/08/2009 21:16

Sweet kitty, I'm an 80's baby and a Susannah lol! My friend just named her baby after me so it must be having a revival lol!

Scorps, I love Maisie and Lacey! Lacey is a bit more unusual, I think Maisie went through a popular phase. Ohhh they are both lovely...I think I prefer Lacey.

Babyblue, that is an amazing weight! I bet he has yummy little baby legs at that weight!

Marianne and Stephanie, added you both. You can see my mad family now lol! I loooove facebook! Sooo addictive!

CD22 ish here, had boob pains today and feeling heavy on and off down there......I love all this maybe I am to find that no I'm not, cracks me up pmpl!

Scorps · 29/08/2009 16:00

I like Lacey so much more than Maisie.

SK - my DH likes Eleanor and Bobby and things that are just so not me.

Babyblue - goodness me on M's weight did you try BF?

sweetkitty · 29/08/2009 15:58

Scorps - I agree, Like Lacey think it flows with your other names, I haven't even thought about names, it was so hard coming up with DD3's never mind another one who will be a girl as well no doubt. My Dp has such weird choices sometimes I think he is stuck in the 70s he like Susan and Frances and Samantha no offence to anyone but not my taste.

babyblue - I like to see the lines getting darker lol, with the new Clearblue tests it tells you how many weeks gone you are so this week I was 1-2 weeks, hopefully next week will be 2 nad the week after 3, think it only goes to >3 weeks so will stop then, I have loads of ebay cheapies and seems wrong to pee on them lol brilliant little marco is doing well

I am on FB I am one of scorps friends initials are SLR, double barrelled first name I am the only person with my name on FB

babyblue3 · 29/08/2009 15:05

Means - On FB as well...msg me Marianne Ferrari (pic is my face only with white background).

LOL at all the POAS going on. I never did understand POAS after you get your BFP! Maybe once, just to make sure.... but whats the point after that??? LOL... darn addictions I guess!!

Scorps - I so agree with Means about the viability thing. That was my biggest milestone. After I hit 24 weeks, I relaxed sooo much more. Few more days for you then... And if I may put in my 2 cents about the name... I would def go with Lacey Very girly and pretty. It would also give all your LOs different initials. My DH and I could only agree on Marco for a boys name... the drawback is that both my DSs have the same exact initials 'MGG'. I guess its not really a big deal.

Took my DS2 for his one month doc visit. The little beast is now 10lbs 14oz!! Thats up from 7lbs even when we left the hospital! He also grew 3 inches! Doc almost fell off her chair!! LOL. No wonder my arms and shoulder get so sore from bouncing him during his worst colic sessions!!

Scorps · 29/08/2009 11:12

Yes I'm on fb - Stephanie Croxton, looking out smiling lol

Names - well this is it,,,

Lacey
Maisie

LOL

Others are Reilly Jamie & Mimi

I heart Lacey big time. DH likes Maisie. Although he has no say in anything, so if i want L, L it is.

Meanbeansmum · 28/08/2009 22:08

SK, lmao at all your testing. Once I get a bfp I never seem to test again its just the week before that I lose all sense of sanity lol!

I love a name thread too

sweetkitty · 28/08/2009 21:59

wow *scorps" 23 weeks already, are we discussing names yet? you know I loev a good name thread lol

meanbean - I am a POAS addict, here's my story of this one, CD15 OV day, CD25 tested BFN (tesco), CD26 tested BFN (ebay cheapie), CD27 (UCL 27 days), v v v v v v faint line on ebay cheapie, had this before she's asleep upstairs, so bought 2 CBDs and a Boots one, first CBD wasn't work, second one Pregnant 1-2 weeks, Boots faint line, this morning day period due, faint line on ebay cheapie

So 3+6 today, LONG way to go, first milestone 8 weeks going to try and blag a scan due to previous mc

Meanbeansmum · 28/08/2009 19:01

Scorps, happy 23 weeks! One more week until viability! (seems like a massive milestone to me lol).

Babyblue, haha, I'm holding out lol, I'm trying to 'forget' what day I am on, maybe day 22???? Either way I never test positive until about cd32, probably because of my lard arse lol! ;) I may buy some cheapies and poas everyday from cd 28 maybe lol! Oh god I don't knopw what I'll do, it depends if I can control my maddness!

Do any of you use facebook? I'm a fb addict too lol.

Scorps · 28/08/2009 08:08

Sk- I felt so brave being early pg with dc4 , lol. Now it just feels normal to me iyswim. How r u feeling, maybe ur too early yet for things :-)

I'm 23 weeks today yay !

sweetkitty · 28/08/2009 07:09

thanks nemo - will be coming to you for tips on survival

Nemoandthefishes · 28/08/2009 05:30

SK brill news congrates on no.4!!!

babyblue3 · 28/08/2009 04:05

May babies are sooo nice! My DD1 is a May baby, and if I could have planned the others better, I would have liked them to be spring babies as well. I really did not like being preggers in the summer as I am normally hot all the time. I was so thankful that it didn't get too hot here until after my DS2 was born, or I would have truly suffered. Hope all goes well for you. And I know what you mean about talking to other 'mad' mommies! LOL. I love this thread! Most of my friends have 2 kids or less and have no idea the frustrations of having a full house!

Means - Hehe.. I know you are a POAS addict, so I am waiting to see how long you can hold out!!!

babyblue - due 8th May

meanbeansmum - I bought some opks and tests from ebay as I was still Bfing and had a chemical pregnancy beginning of the month, 2WW sucks

Thanks ladies it's nice to be amongst mums of 4, sometimes I feel odd having 3 nevermind 4

Meanbeansmum · 27/08/2009 22:45

Sweet kitty! Whoop, congratulations! That's amazing news! Sending you some sticky vibes!

My 2ww is going to go on forever! LOL. Can you tell I'm impatient lol! I'm buying ov sticks next month to see if I am or if I'm not lol!

Does anyone know if I can take angus castus when bfing? Potentioally only for the first few days of next month. I bet I can't lol!

I'm aching down their already, super analysing everything!

DS1 started swimming lessons today, he went in at Level 2 and the teacher was getting him to show the other kids how to float on their backs without a floating aid. It was too cute. Very proud mummy moment.

Hasn't august gone quickly (sorry random observation lol).

How's everyone doing?

babyblue3 · 27/08/2009 22:33

Sweetkitty - CONGRATS!!!!

Thinking very sticky thoughts for you!!! When would that make you due? Please dont ask me to do the math on 3 hours sleep!!

Don't worry about the comments... they bugged me for a bit, then I just learned to ignore them. Now I actually enjoy watching peoples reactions when I tell them I have 4!! LOL

OP posts:
Scorps · 27/08/2009 17:42

i think most of us here have had a mc, haven't we

Yes i got alot of telly comments, you nutter, do you know what contraception is, bet you want another girl...blah blah.

Sticky thoughts for you

sweetkitty · 27/08/2009 17:26

Don't want to tell anyone in RL until I am well along the way and know everything is alright

I'm going to get a lot of

"trying for a boy"
"do you have a telly?"
"at is like rabbits"
"but you will need a bigger house/car/wage"

sweetkitty · 27/08/2009 17:25

second cycle TTC, last month I had a chemical pregnancy

yes had a mc between DD2 and 3 so I know BFP doesn't always = baby

Scorps · 27/08/2009 16:55

that was fast!!!

Have you had mc before?

sweetkitty · 27/08/2009 16:53

hi ladies big secret so don't tell anyone but I got a BFP today

here's hoping for sticky one, will be worried sick until I feel it moving

babyblue3 · 27/08/2009 16:45

Scorps - glad baby doing well and that you are managing with your DH situation. You are a strong woman! Keep it up

My DS2 will be a month old tomorrow! Wow! Time flies when you are sleep deprived and knee deep in nappies!! He is still fussy, but has gotten a little better. We switched him to lactose free formula and I stopped taking in any dairy as well. Not sure if this has helped much... will be seein my doc tomorrow.

Scorps · 26/08/2009 13:31

Just saying hi, really.

22+ weeks, baby kicking nicely. Things getting slightly betetr here, re my DH. Well i'm still here, anyway!

Meanbeansmum · 23/08/2009 21:17

Rainbow lol, mostly a morning session when the children are still asleep and two evening sessions. Although we occassionally manage it when the baby is asleep and the boys are engrossed in playdough or glitter lol. Bit naughty really but rare.

Rainbow, you will feel better ttc next month after not obsessing or worrying this month. Hugs.x
