Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

mrsdisorganised - thanks for the congrats, we are going to have some serious building work done next year, big extension is needed , dreading all the hassle and mess but cheaper and easier than moving.

Tested again...I know I know lol!

Meanbeansmum · 01/09/2009 15:57

Scorps, I think I must only be 10/11dpo....I never test this early...... I'm a bit !!!!

I don't 'properly' beleive it until I see it get darker. All I know is that I used those last month and they were clear...no colour, no evap lines. There is a def line which is pink, even though it's faint.

I am more than a bit excited!

Had shooting nipple pains today and more niggles in my womb area. I need to record these stmptoms for number 5 pmpl!!! (I am joking haha).

Thankyou for putting up with me.xxxx

Scorps · 01/09/2009 15:49

Don't know whats wrong with my camera it was pants at focusing! It is soooo much more obvious in real life...afternoon test too will POAS first thing...OMG!!!!!

Scorps · 01/09/2009 15:46

ooh you need to buy a clearblue my lovely

Sorry to hear of oyur ds, i didnt know

I just cannot decide on maisie or lacey.

Meanbeansmum · 01/09/2009 15:43

Maisie Amber!!!!!! Sounds lovely to me!

Well been at the childrens cancer hospital all morning. Joe had his checkup (been in remission 5 years now was born with a neuroblastoma). The ward makes me well up, beautiful smiling children, some with no hair. My heart can't take it! The doc said that the chance of his (DS1) returning now are slim to none. I am so so so so so overjoyed!

Anyway on the way home I popped in to get some cheapy pg tests.... I bought 8 lol....just for POAS addiction fun lol! Dh said do one, you have 8, so I did....

I got a SLP!!!!!!!!!!!!! Skinny Little Positive!!!!!! It is faint but it is definitely pink and ~I know its not an evap as I used them last month and they were ALL stark white!!! Holy moly Batman!!!!!! (runs around like a headless chicken).

Please be a STICKY LITTLE BABY! I'M GOING TO TRY TO EASE OFF THE BOOBIE A BIT AND PRAY I GET A STICKY! Sorry for caps, too lazxy to retype.....being pg and tired and all!!! MWah!!!!!!

Scorps · 01/09/2009 15:31

Meansbeans you are funny i am at your symptom list!

When i got pg with dc4, DH was going to Thailand on cd13 and i normally ov cd19. But obv still got pg, we had sex the day he left and i obv got pg! I had no fertile signs and i only tested at 4 weeks because i was so fall over tired, i nearly fainted

DH keeps talkign about a dc5 at some point. I think not, he has put me off so much. I've had a horrid pregnancy so far cos of him.

DS's back at school on Monday, just me and Mimi for 3.5 months...until dd2 comes . Then life will be manic fun

Still don't know on names. Want to avoid a thread...

Lacey
OR
Maisie

Middle names we like are Amber, Jane and Jean, possibly Ella. Not too fussy on middle names. If fn Lacey want normal middle name. DH doesnt like Lacey much but i can have it, as he realises he owes me.

mrsdisorganised · 01/09/2009 13:41

Hello all! Computer been playing up so not on very much at all.

Wanted to say huge congratulations to Sweetkitty, hope everything is going ok so far

Laughing at you Meanbeans! Terrible the effect that ttc has on your body and brain! Hope that you'll get good news soon, will be waiting!!!

Scorps can't believe you're over half way now already! Hope everything is a bit easier and you're not stressing too much.x

Babyblue!! Oh the joys of the ever growing boobs! It's getting closer for me now hooray!

Going for another scan in the next couple of weeks, to check where the placenta is and to give me a 'having baby' time and date, which I always find weird but at least I have the novelty of knowing when!

Girls all back at school so house is quiet, apart from dd4 who misses them terribly! Building work hasn't started and have been living with no running hot water or heat for 3 months now keep being put off and I am beginning to go bananas!.....

Hope everyone else is ok

babyblue3 · 01/09/2009 04:56

Keeping fingers crossed for you Means I am betting the POAS will start real soon!! LOL

OP posts:

Meanbeansmum · 31/08/2009 20:36

Niggling pains....check.

Bloated balloon feeling....check!

Going crazy...check!

Craving toast....check (although admittedly this one could be an excuse lol).

Babyblue, the holidays have gone so quickly haven't they! LMAO at the feeding situ.....we got married when ds1 was 5 months old....my poor boobies just kept getting bigger lol! I remember that undoing a tight dress feeling well lol! Good on you for just getting them out when needed, so umcomfy though isn't it! I alwasy feel like I spend the first 6 months feeding in the car when out and about lol!

CD24.......ov guess on cd 14-17.....when can I start POAS?

babyblue3 · 31/08/2009 16:50

Means - our bank holiday is next weekend, after which the DCs go back to school and DH goes back to work (arghhh).

OP posts:
babyblue3 · 31/08/2009 16:49

Went to my cousins engagement party yesterday. They had 50 people and held it at a banquet hall (Italians are famous for going all out). Was the first time we all got dressed up for a long time. Well of course, I was very self consious with all my post partum wobbly bits, so I wore my control top knickers that strangled me most of the night, and a maternity outfit from previous pregnancy that looked nice but was a little tight around the chest! What a disaster! I looked good, but could I BF in that get up?? HELL NO! There was no private place for me to feed the baby (not even in the large bathroom was there a chair). So I had to sit at my table and whip out the boob! Finally got fed up with that and decided to give him a bottle. By the end of the day, my BBs were so full I had to unzip the back of my dress to make room for them!! LOL. I BF the baby in the front seat of my SUV in the parking lot (it was a 30 min drive home and I could not wait!). What an adventure! Next time... forget the vanity, I am wearing something I can get off in a hurry! LOL. On the upside, I ate like a pig and even got to have a couple of shots of Baileys (since he got the bottle). Diet starts Sept 1st!!

Will do, the touble with fb...everybody knows what you're up to lol! Still addcitive though lol.

Had sore boobies today and a heavy feeling down there, dh thinks I am. I think he thinks that every month lol! Am I making sense?

Is everyone enjoying the bank holiday weekend?

sweetkitty · 29/08/2009 23:01
