Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

A4rghhh spellings...no excuse for their/there confusion lol! Shameful!

Meanbeansmum · 03/11/2009 16:41

Kat congrats on the house!!!! And on the school announcement lol!

Mad house here, been xmas shopping. Also had a blood test this morning, except I missed the plebotomist. So I did a pg test and it was negative and I was officially discharged from the EPU. I was a bit emotional coming from their, it's the end and that comes with both releif and sadness. There was a woman who'd had a great scan and couldn't contain her excitement and it hurt in the pit of my stomach. But hey that's life, at least it's not doom and gloom for everyone there.

End of a chapter I suppose.

So how are our preggos, newborns and ttcers?

babyblue3 · 03/11/2009 01:17

Kat - congrats on your house news! Good luck moving a houseful of kids, plus being pregnant, all in time for Christmas! Cant wait to see some pics

How are you feeling MrsD??

What are you ladies doing about the Swine Flu? Are you getting your LO's vaccinated?? I am still on the fence about it. Tomorrow I have to call my doc to see if she was one of the few who got the vaccines. If not, we would have to go to a public clinic, and right now the wait times are 5-8 hours! And only for certain people (pregnant women, kids, the sick).

MrsD CONGRATS! So pleased for you

I'm coming up to 13 weeks now and everyone knows pretty much, Lily went back to school today and announced it in 'news' apparently haha bless her.

All go here too, we sold our house and a=had an offer accepted on the one we wanted so hopefully we'll be in by Christmas. So excited

Scorps... excited for you not long now

rainbow- hope you are ok xx

redtent - good luck for this month!

Babyblue - hope Marco starts sleeping better soon... I always resorted to co-sleeping but I'd prefer not to this time!

babyblue3 · 01/11/2009 14:09

How was everyones' Halloween??? Weather was blustery here, but the DCs had fun! DD2 was so cute! She was able to go door to door and collected quite the loot! Suddenly she knows how to say CANDY!!! Hahaha!! Marco got dressed up, but only made a short round to the neighbours, as was too windy and cool. The house looks like a bomb hit, but LUCKILY our clocks went back this morning , so I get an EXTRA HOUR TO CLEAN!!!

mrsdisorganised · 29/10/2009 19:38

Hope evryone else is well.

babyblue3 · 29/10/2009 15:56

This thread has become so quiet lately!! All you preggos are too busy/tired to write??? LOL. I have my hands full with the 2 little ones being sick with cold/coughs. Marco having a hard time BF and hates when we use the 'snot sucker' to suction him. Back to sleepless nights for me I guess

OP posts:
Scorps · 28/10/2009 15:42

I'm due on Xmas day lol. Bit worried if i labour on 24 25 or 26 as to what to do with other dc if I'm daytime labouring... Ho hum!!

I'm 32 weeks on Friday, a bit round lol. Mimi hasn't been sleeping well and has been a little poorly, and it's half term!! Half of my molar has come off too and I'm tryig to find the courage to ring dentist.

Hope everyone is ok.... Other PGs going ok - 12 weekers have you 'come out' yet?

redtent · 27/10/2009 22:13

everyone going insane over the halfterm??

We're taking the kids to a butterfly place in Sheffield tomorrow, hope it's good.

I feel very like last month and am petrified of being too hopeful...also think either result is going to be hard to deal with this month... ahh well.

Scorp- 31 weeks- not long now! You must be due around Christmas??

Better go..tired and need to sleep.

babyblue3 · 26/10/2009 02:31

Red - not sure I caught that you were no longer PG either (blame it on having too much on my plate this month). Sorry... xx Know exactly what you mean by choccie addiction though there MUST be a help group thread out there for people like us!!

DD2s 2nd birthday party went off well today. Am so tired. It seems like I am constantly party-planning and catering! And I am not done yet!

Hallowee'en party last night was FAB!! Marco slept for most of the night, and when he was up, there were plenty of willing candidates to hold him! DH and I had a great time. I was bottle-feeding, so I even managed a couple of cocktails... yummy... brown cows - my fave! We even managed to get in the running for best costumes, but sadly, lost to an old biddy wearing a black wedding dress!

This week I am taking DD2 and DS2 to have their portraits taken at a studio. Not looking forward to the fight that will be on to A: get DD2 to sit still and not run off with the props, and B: to get DS2 to smile without spitting up over his clothing!

just a quick hello I'm 31 + weeks now! Doing ok.

Sk I'm worried about school too as dh starts work at 730 am I have to do everything. Eek.

Can't type much more on my iPhone

redtent · 23/10/2009 18:23

Hey All..rainbow I think you must have missed my post saying it wasn't a sticky one and I wasn't pregnant anymore. ((hugs)) I hope you are able to de-stress soon.

However I have ovulated today (I'm 95% sure!) so I'm back in the 2ww again. I have ovulated later than usual but I think that's probably a good thing as it was happening so early...now I've got half term to drive myself nuts over.

Babyblue- well done on the weight loss I have been doing weight watchers gently whilst ttc (I started ages ago now) but it's slow going cos I have a choccie addiction

I think we're sure about the snip btw....more worried about ttc - even though I fell pg first try last month (and 2nd try with ds 3, third try with ds 2). I'm paranoid about going through years of ttc (ds 1 took about 33 cycles). It's completely irrational isn't it? I so do want a dc 4 and dh feels the same way. I'm hoping it doesn't go on and on and on like it did that first time.

Ahh well..silly paranoid mare that I am.....

We're a quiet lot aren't we??

babyblue3 · 23/10/2009 16:02

Means - glad things seem to be going better for you. Hopefully your bloods will have gone back to 0 this time. Whats this about no sex til the new year??? Shag away darling, just be careful! Need to stay in top notch condition for when the baby making time arrives, after all

I am very proud to announce that I have FINALLY gotten down to pre-Marco weight!! Woot woot!! Its only taken me 12 weeks! LOL. Now I just have to lose 26lbs and I will be pre-baby#3, which is where I should be at. Wish me luck! Having 2 babies in less than 2 years is a killer on the figure! I just want to get back into my favourite jeans again. At least I am finally out of the maternity jeans!

So we are all suffering from the flu here (not swine flu... just the regular one). My DH came home from work last night feeling poorly and his moaning began! When I am sick, he tells me 'suck it up woman, you have a house to run' but when he is sick, he loundges in bed all day moaning! Men are such babies!! He better not think that I am gonna look after 3 poorly children (the oldest had the flu at the same time I did and we are pretty much better), AND cater to him as well!!!

rainbow - dont be a stranger... we are here for you. Hopefully you are not too stressed out that you cant drop in for a chat once in a while.

to everyone else!!!

Meanbeansmum · 23/10/2009 15:28

Babyblue, lmao at sleeping in the shed lol!

Sweetkitty, going out with 3 is a nightmare and mine are a bit older lol! You will soon adapt even though it sounds scary.

Rainbow, we are here if you need to offload. I know it must be hard to cope when stressed out. Look forward to seeing you back here soon.xxx

Kat...yay on going forward! That never ever happens to me lol! I hope you are feeling well now.

I'm ok, totally adjusted to what's happened.....still feeling a bit shocked by it all. Dreading next week's bloods but hope that's the last one. You'd think it would be enough to put me off sex but I still have the horn. It's hard abstaining! No sex until new year....god help us!!!

babyblue3 · 22/10/2009 00:27

WOW!! I can't believe you ladies are already 12 weeks along!! LOL... Certainly didn't feel like my pg went that fast! Hopefully your morning all-day sickness passes soon!

Had computer issues, so have been without internet for the past week. I felt so cut off from the outside world!! LOL. Sad that MN and FB are my major sources for adult conversation!!

So DH finally made his appointment for the snip... but insists he may still change his mind by then (its the end of February). Big suck! Then he has the nerve to ask what I would do if he didnt go through with it! I told him that considering all he has to do is look at me and I get pg, that he would then have to sleep in the garden shed forever!

Sweetkitty - I still have not really attempted to go out with all 4 kids alone! LOL... its a scary thought. My 2 older ones walk to school on their own (its a 5 min walk), and the 2 LOs stay home with me. Going to the park is as much as I can manage right now! I dont think I could be organized enough in the morning to do a school run with all 4 in tow!

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 21/10/2009 21:38

I'm 8th May but will probably be late again so you will have a newborn before me (sniff)

katnkittens · 21/10/2009 21:26

Hiya sk, my EDD is 12th May.
I'm not too bad now, sickness has been easing off over the last week or so although it's still hanging around mainly on an evening.

Hope your scan goes well... can't believe we're almost 12 weeks already!

sweetkitty · 21/10/2009 17:49

11+4 here kat so nearly the same as you, when is your EDD? Scan next week.

Feeling so rough sick about once a day feel sick 24/7 and constantly shattered too.

Am starting to feel anxious about the school run with a 5yo, 4yo, almost 2yo and baby

katnkittens · 21/10/2009 17:35

Hi guys,

Just a quickie, scan was great and they moved my dates forward a bit so I'm now 11 weeks

Couldnt get a very good picture as I hadn't drunk enough but the heartbeat was nice and fast and baby was having a nice snooze...

rainbowdays · 21/10/2009 10:38

~Just a quick note

meansbeans - I can understand the need to skip away from the folks wanting to take your blood, it is not fun having needles all the time. Hope the levels are down to zero for your next test.

Redtent and blondie - hope the pregnancies are progressing nicely

Kat - hope the scan goes well today. Thinking of you.

I am having a tough time at the moment, many issues and nothing to do with ttc, but it means my head is totally stressed. I am therefore taking a break from mn (might pop back to read your scan result though Kat). So I did not want to take a break from here without letting you folks know I will be back at some point!

Meanbeansmum · 19/10/2009 14:03

Hi, just popping in to say hi. All s ok here, crazy family as usual. I'm due for bloods tomorrow but I'm skipping it until next week. My levels have dropped significantly anyway so are on the way down....just the thgought of more painful random stabbing that is like getting blood from a stone does not appeal to me lol. I will be good and go next week and hope they are 0!!!

Kat, good luck with the scan.xxx

Redtent.......the snip sounds fab...but are you really really sure lol!

Oh new smilies!
