Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

Congrats to scorps!!!!!

That was a quickie! Hope mine is as fast.

Happy New Year to everyone too xxx

babyblue4 · 30/12/2009 23:11

Just popping in to wish you all a very Happy New Year - many blessings and happiness to you and your families!

babyblue4 · 29/12/2009 20:48

Means - Yay!! (and NO DETAIL NECESSARY!! )

Rainbow - it really helped me. I started on this thread just after I m/c. And the support that I got during the time when I was preg, and had to have the amnio to rule out Downs, was brilliant. Keep us in mind!

rainbowdays · 29/12/2009 20:14

Means - good to hear you have got your bfn and relieved your worries about an ectopic. And well done for getting the positive attitude going with the ttc. Please if you have any extra positivity send it my way will you!

Thank you bb and kat for the reassurance to post more often, I will try, it might just pull me out of the doldrums.

Meanbeansmum · 29/12/2009 18:26

I am fine girls, don't worry about me. I POAS thios morning and it was a BFN!!! Phew no ectopic for me!! Yay, honestly I've never been so releived to see a BFN! I don't give up that easily though lol, I'm so determined, I usuaLLY GET WHAT i SET MY MIND ON SO WE ARE OFFICIALLY GOING FOR IT! (WHOOPS CAPS SORRY LOL).

Plan is to take pre conception vitamins and folic acid, to eat well and give it a go this month! Dh is having an operation when I'm mid month, which is a bit of an issue but I have a cunning plan, lol...trust me you do NOT want details lol!!!

babyblue4 · 29/12/2009 17:42

kat - hope all goes well. What is a colcoscopy look at? Does not sound very pleasant... especially while pregnant. Speaking of... have you and DH started thinking of names?

Means - how are you managing Hun?? Dont worry... we wont abandon the thread until you are ready to come with!!!

Just a quick Hello to everyone else!!!

katnkittens · 27/12/2009 17:33

Goodness Rainbow, please don;t worry about your posts being negative! That's what we're here for even if all we can do is give you a virtual hug as bb said, most of us have been through similar and we understand.

I'm so sorry things haven't worked out for you yet but I know they will, you still have that DC~4 to come I'm sure of it!

Hope you had a nice Christmas. (and everyone else).

We're all signed up re the move but moving day isn't until the 22nd Jan as our stupid buyer keeps changing the date... actually she's quite nice, I saw her in a cafe in town last week and we had a nice chat so I like her now but I'm just impatient!

I have to go for a colcoscopy on Tuesday as my last results came back severe high grade pre-cancer so I might even need treatment during this pregnancy which I have been assured won't harm the baby at this stage.

It's still worrying though, I just want ti all sorted.

xxx

babyblue4 · 27/12/2009 16:40

Rainbow - so sorry to hear what you have been going through. You should post more often. We have all been through this in the last year so we can be here for you to vent or cry... whatever you need.

Means - hope you are sorted soon.

MrsD - how was your little mans first Christmas??? Spoiled rotten I'm sure... just like mine!

Kat - how are you? When is moving day? What a hectic time for you!

Scorps - any news????

Meanbeansmum · 27/12/2009 15:54

((((((((((((((((Rainbow )))))))))))))))))))))It's so cruel isn't it! My symptoms are fading, my boobs are not sore, I think they are getting a bit smaller too, no cickness etc. I will POAS in a week and as long as I get no mid month abnormal bleeding I'll be confident all is ok. If I get on off bleeding over the next 2 weeks I will get it followed up. Thankyou for thinking of me. I hope we both get there hunni. It's dem oralising but I'm sure we'll get there.

rainbowdays · 27/12/2009 15:32

Means - , sorry to hear you think you are losing this one too. Have your symptoms gone and the tests turned negative now?

I unfortunately am still failing to stay pregnant. With 5 miscarriages in the last year, I am not sure if my body will ever carry another child to term. I am despondant about it but trying to think positively when I can remember to. I have started having accupuncture and I have medications to try. But right now I have had a rough two months with illness, two weeks of antibiotics for sinusitis, and then a cough/cold, and now a bladder infection, which is not going away by itself so had to go see emergancy doc today to get antibiotics again. I will be carrying on ttc for another couple of months then will be giving up. I get pregnant easily but can't hold onto them, I am no spring chicken and my body can't cope with what I am allowing to happen to it.

Sorry, I have been avoiding posting, due to not being very positive.

IllHaveABABYBLUEChristmas · 26/12/2009 15:39

Means - am really sorry Hun. Hopefully your body is able to sort itself out on its own. Maybe third times a charm for you. When its right, it will happen. Until then, you have all our shoulders to cry on Hopefully the noise and chaos in your household will keep you plenty occupied and distracted!

Scorps - Hope everything is ok with you.

How was everyone elses Christmas? Our was very busy! We spend the eve with my mum, Christmas morning with just us opening our prezzies, the afternoon with the in-laws, and the evening with my grandmother. Im exhausted! Not to mention my house is a serious mess since we havent been home to tidy anything up. Thats the goal for today!

katnkittens · 26/12/2009 14:56

Means you WILL get there!!!!

Scorps - hope you are ok and your DH is behaving himself. Am expecting a BA any day!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. We had a lovely day filled with mess, noise and a couple of tantrums (dd2).

Am chilling today, having a few people over tonight to play on DS' new XBOX (men/boys)!

mrsdisorganised · 25/12/2009 23:15

Means, I'm really sad for you. I hope that you've managed to get through today ok, lots of hugs to you, and of course we should all stay in the same group!! xxxx

Meanbeansmum · 25/12/2009 20:44

Thanks Kat...you know what I might just let dh have the puppy he so desperately wants lol. That'll keep me busy lol!

I do wonder if my body just wasn't ready after the methatrexate. I'm scared to try again next month now. Maybe I need a few months off.

Girls if we move the group can I still come anyway...I will get there, I'm determined to have my magic number 4! LOL.

katnkittens · 25/12/2009 20:26

Oh no means I'm so sorry! I hope you are ok.

If it makes you feel any better I had a m/c just before Christmas last year at 5 weeks then another one the following month. You really start to doubt your body but it seems to be working well enough for me now...

I hope the DCs keep your mind occupied and you have ahd a good Christmass nontheless

xxx

Meanbeansmum · 25/12/2009 17:26

I tested +ve again last night then lost the baby this morning. What is wrong with my body!!!! Useless!!!! I'm ok just hoping it ends normally and that it's not ectopic type bleeding.

I'm ok about it and just have to try again I suppose but this has been 2 loses in a short space of time and I'm slowely running out of tears. A few months off would probvably be good for me.

Can you all please remind me not to test untiol af is a week late! Had I waited a week to test I'd never have known (well by symptoms I would have but I would have just thought I was wrong).

I'm guiessing the tests should go negative over the next 2 week?

Christmas has been mad here, been up since 5am and the kids haven't stopped all day! They've had a lovely day though and been spoilt rotten.

Baileys for me tonight!!! Teehee!

Meanbeansmum · 24/12/2009 19:06

Kat, aww that's lovely.xx

Hd some very slight bleeding (pink watery very very minimal), implantation I hope. 4 weeks today!

Merry Christmas lovely ladies!!!!!

katnkittens · 24/12/2009 02:46

and wow means... looking great Got a good feeling this time for you!

katnkittens · 24/12/2009 02:44

OMG I've had my bro and SIL over tonight and we've eaten like pigs. Anyway, baby has been kicking and prodding like mad... it's like she's suddenly woken up!! I have an anterior placenta so have barely felt anything apart from squirming so far. So exciting!!

BB we certainly have, it was this time last year ish that I had the first m/c. I'm so pleased I can mark the occasion with a wriggly baby girl in my tummy!

IllHaveABABYBLUEChristmas · 23/12/2009 01:19

Means - That one looks better than the first Yippeeee!!!

MrsD - glad all your LOs are well. I guess the girls look at their little brother as the newest 'toy' in the house!! DD2 is all over DS2 now. I have to be so careful, because she likes to rub his head like a magic lamp!! LOL... that or pinch his cheeks. He loves to look at her too.

Hmmm... so I guess that means that all of us from the original thread now have at least #4 in the oven!! Wow! I joined this group in October of 2008 and was the second carrot. We have come a long way!!

Hopefully that means we will all have a happy but busy new year. It may be time to convert our thread as well

mrsdisorganised · 23/12/2009 00:16

Means....that looking pretty good!!

Rainbow, nice to see you're still about, hope all is ok with you.

Kat, sounds like you've got a busy year ahead but exciting too, good luck and don't wear yourself out...!

Babyblue, hope the prezzie wrapping was successful (and that you were able to do it in style with wine and maybe a sneaky mince pie!!) haven't done ours yet, usually do it on xmas eve in a fit of madness

Loopy, Scorps and anyone else i've missed hope all is ok

New kitchen is in and looking lovely, think I will move in there permanently and forget the rest of the bombsite house! Dd's and ds are all well again, touch wood, and it's the last day of school tomorrow so bring on the lie in (if I'm lucky) we're all a bit knackered!! Ds is brilliant, so relaxed and happy, has started smiling much to the girls amusement!
Better get to bed I suppose, Ds due a feed.

Meanbeansmum · 22/12/2009 22:52

Kat would love to babe....I think I'm under www.facebook.com/susiechanning if not search susannah channing and there's a pic of a snoggalishous brunette (LMAO I am kidding but I am a brunette lol).

katnkittens · 22/12/2009 22:38

Rainbow! How's me old mucker doing??

Lovely to hear from you, what you been up to?

We're pretty much ready for santa. We're moving on the 22nd of Jan hopefully, getting sick of all the paperwork rubbish and delays but looking good for then.... so we have loads of boxes and too much stuff.

So in a way I'm looking forward to after Christmas and moving as much as Christmas

New year, New baby and new house

IllHaveABABYBLUEChristmas · 22/12/2009 21:24

Kat - Love the name!! Very girly and pretty I cant believe you are half way there already!! How come my pregnancy didnt fly by that fast!! LOL

rainbowdays · 22/12/2009 20:46

Means - huge congratulations, that is definitely a bfp if it came up within the time limit, and if it came up outside the time limit, it will be a bfp very soon!!!! Brought a smile to my face.

Kat - Ava is such a beautiful name, and glad everything was good with the 20 week scan.
