Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

Yay Means!!! Glad you at least saw something and that is was in the right place!! Its soo comforting! I remember when I went to an early scan and they couldn't find anything at all... was horrible (ended up M/C a week later). I would just go under the assumption that its one in there for now. If you end up with two, its a bonus!

Rainbow - have you had an early scan with this preg already??

Meanbeansmum · 28/01/2010 15:07

Ok scan news...had a long chat with the sonographer who wasn't keen to scan me as I'm less that 6 weeks (5 weeks today) but we went ahead on the principle of the cd5 BFN being potentially dodgy! She took ages and I was so scared I was borderline hyperventilating! She said she found a sac consistent with 5 weeks of pregnancy and only showed me a very zoomed out image. I had to probe her for measurements and then got an approximation of 1cm for sac size. She said she didn't want to scan me in a week as there won't be enough change, so to make it a fourtnight.

Consultant wanted me scanned in 7 days, we compromised on 10 days but that falls on a sunday so it'll be 11 days!

Interestingly Chris said he definitely saw a white bit in the sac and he 'reckons' he saw 2 sacs that she measured both horizontally and vertically. But surely if she'd seen 2 she'd have said and surely she was just remeasuring from a different angle?????

I'll pass out if their's two little beans in there!!!! Surely she'd have said but then maybe she wouldn't if no heartbeats yet??? God my husband is a git!!! I'm going with she saw one and measured it twice, not saying I disbelieve Chris but well ya know he's a man and all lol!

So I'm on course for 5 weeks today and I have another scan in 11 days, praying to see a heartbeat then.

I feel a bit better now, it's at least in the right place even if nothing progresses I implanted an egg in the right place, phew!

Rainbow, I hope you get some more news soon, what's happened on the scans so far, so sorry if I've missed an update.

Sorry for long scan post.

rainbowdays · 28/01/2010 13:00

means - hope the scan goes well today.

I have not had such fun with early scans and have to wait another 10 days before my next one. So I am in limbo land with this pregnancy still. I am trying to keep relaxed and patient, but it is hard.

Kat - hope your house move has gone smoothly, and that you will be back online sooon too.

big wave to everyone else too.

babyblue4 · 27/01/2010 18:08

Means - hope your scan goes well and you get to see your little bean... or a sac at the very least. Did the move go ok? Hope you took it easy

How is everyone else doing? I cant believe how quiet this thread has gotten!

Meanbeansmum · 27/01/2010 10:33

Sorry girls I moved house lol! It's been a mad week, thankyou for thinking of me.

I had a bleed on cd 24 so went to the EPU at 4 weeks, I had 2 sets of bloods. The first hcg was 452 and the second was 896. So I really hope I am here to stay. My progesterone was a bit low at 33.8 which worries me.

I have a scan on Thursday, I'm so scared. I hope I have a little 5 week sac in there!

How are bumps babies and mums all doing?

babyblue4 · 25/01/2010 20:07

Means - would have to agree about the HPTs... second one looks waaay darker. Hopefully this baby is sticky!

Rainbow - How far along are you now???

Loopy - I say go for it! You never know what may come of it this month. Besides... I hardly think your DH will mind the extra practice this month!

Kat - guess you get to practice with baby food!! I ate baby fruit when I had my teeth pulled (had all 4 done at the same time). Couldnt manage much more than that! And having all my meals through a straw got old very fast!

katnkittens · 19/01/2010 09:33

Hola peeps!

Not much going on here but Im lurking quietly and keeping an eye on all you TTCers
rainbow how are you? Hoping everything is ticking along nicely?
means
loopy it's worth a try, we had a month like that though, it was very annoying
bb

I mihgt get on before we move but if not I wanted to let you know I'll be offline for a while until we get the internet set up properly in the new house.... hopefully asap as I'll seriously get withdrawal!

I had my wisdom tooth out yesterday, thought she would just gently tug a bit but no - proper yanking and pulling, took ages and I felt like I'd been assaulted! It's all swollen and sore today but better than the toothache I had been getting so hopefully will settle soon.

xxxx

Means - congrats, and lets work together on gluing these little ones to stick where they should be at the moment.

Meanbeansmum · 16/01/2010 09:34

I need some glue girls! Feeling weirdly ok in myself apart from boobies which are sore and massive and emotional outbursts, lucky dh lol!

Seems getting egg to meet sperm is fine, just getting the blighters to a. stick in the right place b. stay sticky lol.

Eiother way I can't control it but I'm ok, prepared for whatever now, I've toughened up!

babyblue4 · 15/01/2010 22:28

rainbow fingers crossed for you.

baby I am working on the basis of CD1 being the first day I didn't take the pill. So I will just test every month on that day as I have always had fairly regular cycles. My first symptoms are feeling sick after drinking tea! I drink loads usually but when pregnant have to eat at the same time or I am sick and thats right from the beginning!

I didn't have a period before DC3 as I had a coil fitted and had that removed and conceived before AF. However it was slightly different as I wasn't BF at the time. I was told once that the natural gap when BF was somewhere between 18 months and 2 years on average as it's more difficult to conceive when you are still feeding 3 hourly. (obviously no one will rely on that though but it's interesting to know in my position) Therefore I am not holding my breath of getting pregnant soon.

really I just need to not think about it but i'm not that sort of person!

loopy but babies are soo yummy how can you reconsider I know what you mean as I had 3 years between my last 2 and I did have that feeling occasionally that I had my life back why go back to the baby stage, but I have to say that nagging feeling never went away and along came DC3 who is a really easy baby

rainbowdays · 12/01/2010 21:48

Thank you babyblue. I have another 10 days before I pass my latest mc point. It is an agonising few days ahead here. Can you keep everything crossed for the next 10 days????

babyblue4 · 12/01/2010 17:09

Hello all

Rainbow - This is the year for you Im sure this is a sticky baby you have there. How are you feeling? At what point did you mc the others? Your first milestone (and ability to take a deep breath) will be once you pass that point. I remember how hard that was... but also how good it feels to pass that point. Keeping everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING ) crossed for you!

Kat - Haha... you need to start delegating! Assign things to DH to pack. This way, he cant get out of helping on the excuse that you dont like his methods, but it still keeps him working ;) Good luck with the move

Scorps - hows that gorgeous gal of yours??

Means - 2ww sucks... may as well be a month the way it drags. When do you start testing?

QueenFee - How will you know when to test? Do you usually get a specific symptom when pregnant? For me, it was always sore nipples and a stuffy nose

Loopy - you know you waaannnna!!!
