29th Sept! I've booked in with the mw. Scan at 12 weeks and first appointment with the mw. What about you!

Means - how exciting we both are doing so well. When is your due date? And when do you have another appointment?

Awww Means!!! Very happy for you!!! Such a wonderful way to start the week! Its amazing what a difference a few days makes at this stage! How is the morning sickness? Hope you have a very happy and uneventful pregnancy

I'm shocked, I don't know why I just am. I knd of expected more doom and gloom.

I wish they did pics, their excuse was lack of time. They wouldn't let me take a pic of the screen with my mobile either...killjoys!!!!

I have a minibeanie on board!!!!!!! 6mm CRL, everything fine!!!! Awwww, he/she looked like a proper little baby, little arm and leg buds, sat upright, cutest little beanie ever! No pic though, no pic policy in the EPU. Little heartbeat pounding away. I cried with releif! Yay!

It feels so real now. In just 11 days it's gone from an empty sac to a real baby with a heartbeat!!!

I feel all warm and fuzzy!!!!

HEARTBEAT seen on scan....!!!!!!!

Yey for morning sickness means very good sign I'll put bump pics up when I eventually get back online I promise - it's so frustrating not having the net. Dhs 30th birthday tomorrow so I'm taking him to see avatar since were probs the only people on the planet yet to see it!

Hiya! Still no Internet in new house so using my phone which is v slow and frustrating! Pleased to hear from means and rainbow that your beans are hanging in there! Keeping fingers crossed for you both.
The move went well, we all love the new place but are not loving living out of boxes!
Baby is fine, had mw on Friday and lookinggood at 25 weeks, My bump is getting pretty big and I have about 2 pairs of trousers that fit me I'm too tight to spend loads on mat clothes so i'm not exactly a fashionable yummy mummy ATM, giant sweatshirts seem to be the way forward for me
anyway, I'll keep checking the thread and hopefully will be back online asap xx

Loopy, noooooo. Well you never know, that egg may hang around for a while and pop on cd 18. I hope so. If not is next month good timing?

Rainbow, no wonder you are stressed. Early scans can cause stress, I hope we both get a good result next monday, crossing everything for you.

Rainbow - how stressful! Hang in there. Your little bean will be ok Its a good feeling to know that at least the baby is growing in ther right place, and your HCG seems to be going up normally. Its going to feel like time is dragging for the next week and a half though. Have you felt any other pains? Are your pregnancy symptoms still the same or worse?

Loopy - Go for it! It wont hurt to get the practice in... even if the circumstances are not ideal this month. You may get lucky!!

I have had 7 scans now already!!!!! Due to pain on one side only, I had one at 5 weeks, but hcg less than 1000, and they could not see anything! They brought me back 3 days later and levels had risen to 1500 so they brought me back two days later, and rescanned me..... nothing.... next doctor came and scanned me ..... nothing, so they took bloods and hcg levels came back at 3000, perfect doubling.... next doctor came and scanned me again..... could find nothing,therefore declared possible ectopic and kept in hospital. Next day another doctor for another scan.... she found the sac right away in the uterus where it should be - argggg, why could the useless doc's not find it the day before. The sac was measuring about 5.5 weeks.
A week later another scan, doctor could not find anything in the uterus....!!!!!!! Got the consultant in to see me instead, he found the sac with a yolk sac inside, measuring about 6 weeks..... no heartbeat.

So the situation is that I was told to come back in a week, but the following day they rang back with my blood test saying hcg had risen from 3000 to 12000 in 10 days, and could I come back in 10 days. However due to that being a friday and I am working it is now moved to the following Monday. So looks like Means and I will be having scans on the same day.

Part of me is worried that in 10 days the growth was only 6 days worth, and that at by my dates 7 weeks there was no heartbeat. BUT with my dd I had a scan at 7weeks1day and they said it was only at 5 weeks, told me that either i had got my dates wrong (I knew I had not) or I would m/c. However at 8weeks5days, my dd was measuring exactly right for dates!!!!! so I know that early scans on me are a waste of time!!!!!

Means hope we both have good news on the next scans.
