TTC after coming off the pill - Anyone else?

Hi I took my last pill on the 4th July and took 33 days to get AF. Now suffering as AF is really heavy and got stomach cramps - I forgot the pleasures of real AF as been on pill without much of a real break for about 4 years again!

(I was on Microgynon)

Anyone else TTC after coming off the pill? What are your experiences?

hey, my first period after coming off the pill (i was on microgynon too) was always a miserable affair. see what the next one's like. don't worry about the 33 days, that's fine too. if that's longer than your normal cycle, then it'll have used the extra days to maliciously stock up on painful clots. Welcome back to the land of the unpredictable AF! Good to give your body a break every so often. Get yourself a hot water bottle, a glass of red wine to replace your iron levels and a pint of ben and jerry's funky monkey (for the serotonin in the bananas, of course).
