Lol @ tampax being substituted for doughnuts!
Yep Damian's being a mega cutie yet again. Trying to figure out how to put his pic on a profile. Had new ones taken a couple weeks ago.
Ohhh can't wait to wear tampax again!

Diddle · 10/06/2005 18:35

Hello HK, hope damien is being a little cherub again today i'm ok thanks, dosed up on nurofen so the pains have subsided for now, will probably appear again in the middle of the night and wake me up, bloody horrible things. Run out of Tampax, went to sainsburys and forgot them (came back with mini donuts instead ) so i've got to go out again now, bugger! as if my energy isn't low enough.

Diddle - Will text you over the weekend huni x look after yourself! x

HumphreysCorner · 10/06/2005 16:29

Diddle-I would agree with you on the not working out your days bit as DH and I said that we definitely didn't want a baby at Christmas so for the first time I didn't go on Paternityangel.com and work out my dates. Hey presto, I got PG with a due date of 15th December. We were delighted of course but sadly it wasn't to be.

When I have had a successful proper AF I might try that method again so good luck you and hope it works this month!

Hugs
x

Lottielou · 10/06/2005 16:00

Spacecadet - I may just do a test but leave it till Monday morning if AF does stay away! I promised myself i wudn't test till a good few days after AF is due. Dont think wi will be able to resist tho! We shall see.
Diddle - If i do decide to test you will be the 2nd to know the result! I do hop ei can announce it but have a horrid feeling i will be on here Monday morning telling you all of my BFN!
I've had quite a good day today, got quite a few booking for my Ann Summers so thats going well. Am having a chilled weekend, i'm sure i shall fit some running in there tho!
What you got planned? x

Diddle · 10/06/2005 15:44

Rachelrog - The chances of having 2 m/c's is pretty slim a very small percentage i think, saying that i've had 2. But they do say that it is unlikely, i was told it was classed as "bad luck" and thats why they don't start testing after 2.
Stay positive, i'm sure you're pregnancy will go really well, you deserve it. Sounds like you ahve life planned which is good.

Spacecadet - sorry you're not feeling too good, but its for a very good reason, so thrilled for you.

Lottielou - Hope you're having an ok day and that you get you're BFP soon, feel free to text me over the weekend if you do a test and want to announce it. i'd love to hear from you. fingers crossed as tight as possible.

Spacecadet....how many weeks and days p/g are you? Have your symptoms just started??

I usually get really bad m/s which should start soon.

spacecadet · 10/06/2005 15:20

I hope everyone will soon be complaining of feeling crappy too!!!>

spacecadet · 10/06/2005 15:19

im going to london tomorrow to see a top consultant in inner ear problems, my mum and stepdad are coming down from wales bringing ds2 back as he has spent a week with them, so a busy weekend! Will you test thisweekend if af stays away??

Lottielou · 10/06/2005 15:14

Thanks spacecadet, please keep them as tight as you can for me! Sorry your feeling crappy, i hope i can feel like that soon! I hope we all can! x
What you got planned for the weekend? x

spacecadet · 10/06/2005 15:10

fingers crossed for you lottielou.

spacecadet · 10/06/2005 15:09

diddle-im feeling a bit tired and nauseaus.
i think your holiday sounds like it might be the ideal oppurtunity to conceive, being in a more relaxed atmosphere away from home can only help

Lottielou · 10/06/2005 15:05

Hi All!
Diddle - Well I am due on around Sunday onwards, i calcualted it and that will be 34 days, my cycle is usually around 34-36 so it could be anytime. I hope she doesn't show tho. (obviously) Haven't had any pains which i always get before AF, but i am feeling rather bloated and puffy which i get when AF comes but am not buidling any hopes around the fact i haven't had any pains. You watch, i shall get them tonight! LOL
We shall certainly be pushing our bundles around Merry Hill whenever we have our arrivals. Its a must!
How are you feeling now hun?

how is everyone else today? Appologies, still haven't had chance to read down the thread. x

RachelRog · 10/06/2005 15:00

I'm ok Diddle....still letting the idea of being p/g sink in.

Wish I could scream it from the rooftops but Dh wants us to keep it quiet until after scan on 12th July......just in case.

I think he wants to do this because last time we told everyone when I was about 6 weeks and my ds was over the moon....so ds was really upset when we said that the baby seed did not grow. He really wants a baby brother or sister as all his friends at school have brothers and sisters and he doesn't understand why he hasn't. My fault really as was concentrating on work and time has just flown by.....now ds is 5 and will be 6 when this baby is born.

I have aslo worked full time and my mother-in-law had my son for me, she is in her 60's and so did not think she could manage with another one. Now my father-in-law is retiring they have said they will look afte baby between them and I will work 2 days in the week and Saturdays(when dh can have the children)

Ihope it all works out this time. I keep telling myself that the chances on having 2 missed m/c must be small???? But I have read other mumsnetters who have had more than 1.

Diddle · 10/06/2005 14:42

How are you Rach, you doing ok?

Going to Fuertaventura in 12 days, and counting!!!

RachelRog · 10/06/2005 14:24

Diddle...being on hols whilst ovulating sounds VERY promising!! Perfect conditions for conception....

Where are you going?

I think that you will find no matter how much you tell yourself not to calculate dates, etc you probably still will.......we just like to torture ourselves with wishful thinking don't we?

I must say you really do sound like you will make the most perfect mum as you obviously love children loads and you do lots of fab things with the ones you childmind.

Diddle · 10/06/2005 14:16

How are you feeling spacecadet? everything okay so far?

OP posts:
spacecadet · 10/06/2005 14:00

it might help, being in a diff enviroment

Diddle · 10/06/2005 13:34

hope so i think maybe going away will help me to relax and perhaps put it to the back of my mind for a while, I should be ov while we're away so maybe the holiday will give me a chance to rest and conceive, without being surrounded by the normal stress of life.
thats the plan anyway.
