Hi express mummy I'm sorry about your m/c.
Re your periods they said to me at the hospital (I had an erpc) that I should expect an af within 6 wks. But from many peoples experiences on here it seems to take longer sometimes.

Tabs thanks still feeling unhappy this morning. DH was cross that I was still asking why it happened and looking for answers.

ExpM everyone is different its been 50 days since my d&c and i still havnt bled. Wasting alot of money on tests too. Doctor said the d&c strips your womb so may take a bit longer in some women but most it takes about 4 weeks. There is one lady on mn that waited a whole 80 days till her af came. So sorry for you loss, hang around we are all in the same boat and can be of support to you. xxxx

hi there can anyone help me i had a miscarriage in may the last day i bled was the 7th of may i was about six weeks pg when will i have my next period?????

Sadly a 5% risk means that 1 in 20 will still lose the baby, and sadly you were that unlucky 1. And there's no need to apologise for being down - it's what we're here for.

Am sorry but i'm so miserable again I am posting on another thread about someone who thinks her baby as died. People keep reassuring her that if they have seen a H/B then the risk of m/c goes down to only 5%. We saw the H/B so why did I m/c???
Obv this would be inappropriate to post on that thread so needed to come here to ask you guys

Hi Xena - I think slowly about sums it up! Can't believe that I'll only be 5 weeks tomorrow. I thought it would all be a doddle once I actually got pregnant, but I'm so paranoid now that I am! I'm constantly knicker checking to see if I'm bleeding, I worry about every little ache and twinge that I have got, and every symptom that I haven't got but other people have!

Don't get me wrong though, I'm still ecstatic to actually be pregnant, but I just wish that there was some way of knowing whether everything is going to be ok or not. I suppose it's the equivalent of you guys wanting to know each month if it's going to be the month or not, or like Maddy just wanting to know when her AF will finally arrive.

It's all such a waiting game!

Any signs yet? We are both 8DPO tomorrow and I am starting to look for signs.....none yet for me.

know the feeling about cooking, I keep trying to be organic and healthy but am finding it hard. Is anybody eating or not eating anything special while ttc?

I had to have a sleep, my DD woke me at 5 this morning very gently stoking my head, bless her.

Blimey you lot have been busy this afternoon. Im not cooking tonight ive decieded im in one of those moods where i cant be arsed to do anything. So its take away for us i think

Hi Lottie - I don't think running is bad for you, no. As long as you observe the same principle of not letting your heart rate go too high then it should be fine.

I think if you're not used to running then it might be a bit of a shock to the system and probably not advised, but when your body is already used to something the docs seem to think it best to carry on.

My doc told me about one of his patients who was still doing the can-can (on stage I think!) at 38 weeks!
