spacecadet · 05/06/2005 12:43

tuesday! diddle, i will wait until weds morn if you like and we can all test together!thats if af doesnt rear her ugly head in the meantime, trouble ismy boobs are really tender but it could be pre-menstrual symptons, i guess.

Diddle · 05/06/2005 12:42

spacecadet - when is AF due?
you can test now if you want to. Quite a few of us are testing Wednesday morning as a bit of moral suppor to each other. My AF isn't due until a week after that as i have a long cycle.

OP posts:
spacecadet · 05/06/2005 12:38

ive just realised im 10dpo, when should i test???

Diddle · 05/06/2005 12:20

Rachelrog - I am cd25 and 9 past OV, i have investigated pg tests and you may see a BFP from 7dpo. I'm ready to test with you on Wednesday. although i don't think i'll get my 'P'. we will see.

have a great day burning rubber.

OP posts:
RachelRog · 05/06/2005 12:13

Hi Diddle

Managed to resist as I think I wouldn't show positive yet....10 DPO today.

No signs of af yet or no signs of p/g.

This waiting drives me bonkers! Going to have a drive to Matlock with ds and dh today to take my mind off things. Got a new car on Weds so going to burn some rubber!!!

How are you feeling? What cd are you? I think you are further on in cycle than me but we ovulated same day.

When are u going to TEST???

Diddle · 05/06/2005 11:42

Spacecadet - i don't think that there is anything wrong with the way you feel, it is totally understandable.

Humphreyscorner - Your Af will depend on so many things, my normal cycle is 35 days and af appeared on day 38 for me, and smiliar for lottielou there were only a few days if that many between us, But MaddyD has been waiting for at least 40 days now. it depends on how your body is doing i guess.
It will come eventually.

Rachelrog - have you managed to resist testing?? of has AF showed her face??

lottie lou - for you x

thankgoodness!

HellKat · 05/06/2005 11:32

Then we're definitely normal

spacecadet · 05/06/2005 11:31

im afraid i do lurk on the aug thread and torture myself with what might have been.

HellKat · 05/06/2005 11:27

Thanks all for your support! Greatly appreciated.
Humphreys- Just got out of hosp on Wednesday after having to have 2nd d&c (had retained products which became infected). Also had numerous positive pg tests which could've been due to the retainment or ectopic (would'nt have been a healthy, normal pg due to infection and pain etc). Had to have another hormone test on Friday and took a pg test which was still postive so something's showing pg hormones (also still in pain) Hence have to wait until Tuesday when blood results come back.
Xena,Diddle- I know exactly what you mean about the Nov thread. I go back because I miss some of the girls but so hard not to imagine what we'd be like at that stage.
Space- Your feelings are totally understandable! Never agreed that a baby "fixes" problems. If there's probs there then a baby will only magnify them.

HumphreysCorner · 05/06/2005 11:00

Morning ladies

Very busy on here today.

HellKat-thank you for your comforting words at such a difficult time. Will be thinking of you on Tuesday. Why do you suspect something is wrong and eptopic in particular? Fingers and toes crossed that you don't have to go through it all again.

Lottielou- are you mad doing all this running? I am currently having a chocolate overload and I don't normally eat chocolate. Have also realised that I can hit the wine and sherry bottles again. I will give it another week and then it is back on the Weight Watchers diet. I am eating more now than when I was pregnant.

Does anyone know how soon after a MC should you get your proper AF (not that I'm desperate to try again or anything!).

Well, the ironing is calling so must go.

Love and hugs to everyone x

spacecadet · 05/06/2005 10:44

tabs and xena thankyou, ive supported this person through a lot but give her , her due shewasgreat when i lost my baby, but i dont feel i can ring her with the old congrats.

Xena · 05/06/2005 10:38

Tabs advise is good I find it very hard to support people unconditionally which is a big flaw in my character. I can understand when people make wrong descisions its just when they do it time and time again going against people who care for thems advice IYKWIM. One of my sisters is like this and I find her v difficult especially as she goes against her DH's wishes as well.

Xena · 05/06/2005 10:34

Thanks Tabs will be a techy before you know it.

Spacecadet I'm sure I know who you are talking about and I feel very cross at her as well. (If i am correct in who I think it is) What the hell is she playing at?? If she and her DC haven't gone through enough Why would you want to put another child into that situation

Tabs · 05/06/2005 10:31

Hi Spacecadet. I don't think that anyone will flame you for feeling like this. I strongly believe that the reason for bringing a child into the world should be that you are in a loving relationship and want to celebrate that, not that you are in a bad relationship and think that a baby will 'fix' it.

Although she may find it hard to understand, it probably is best that you don't ring her whilst you feel unable to be supportive. She will obviously need people around her who will support her unconditionally, and you quite understandably don't feel able to do that at the moment.

It's also quite natural to be jealous of anyone who's pregnant, whether they are you're friend or not, but especially hard when you know that you are in a better position to raise a child than the mother to be, and want a child far more and for the right reasons.

Hugs to you.

Tabs · 05/06/2005 10:24

Xena - you can also get a blackberry, which a cross between a PDA and a phone. It's very good for receiving e-mails (they automatically arrive, whereas with a lot of phone/PDAs you have to actually go online to retrieve them), but is a little bulky for holding to your ear like a phone. Of course if you use a hands free kit then that doesn't really matter.

I think the O2 XDAII also looks quite good as a combination phone/PDA, but the O2 signal isn't as good in our area, as we really are in the middle of nowhere!

spacecadet · 05/06/2005 10:22

sorry havent been on for a while, have had another mumsnetter, Mummytosteven, staying, so been really busy!, actually though, feel a bit low....someone i know, who is deeply depressed and struggling to cope with her children, who is in an unhappy relationship is preg again..i know it was deliberate i thinbk she thinks that a new baby will take all her probs away...i cant help feeliong angry with her and , is this normal?? i dont want to feel like this,, but i cant bring myself to ring her..im such a bad friend..trouble is ive bent over backwards to help her and her situation is very complex, i told her some months ago before i lost eve that another baby was a bad idea, shes always saying how miserable and isolated she is, she doesnt drive and relies on on her dp for everything,.god i must snap out of it, i sound really spiteful, trouble is the relationship is technically dead in the water, its not fair to bring another child into that, god everyone will flame me now, feel so , would have felt like thisregardless of my own situation anyway...rant over!

Xena · 05/06/2005 10:19

Diddle one of my friends has a little computer and a mobile like mine that has a blue bit and he was showing me his emails while we were out.

Diddle · 05/06/2005 10:13

thank you tabs, yes i think it is what you said.
it very good though, yes i can access mumsnet from it. very useful. But only when i'm int he house not when i'm out and about. so won't be sending you messages from the playground

Lottielou - i bet you'd be running even if you weren't doing the race for life. have fun and take it easy.

Xena - i tortue myself with the nov thread too. you're not the only one. glutons for punsihment aren't we.
