I have only had it checked once since DD2 was born

spacecadet · 06/06/2005 18:21

dont be disheartened if thats the case diddle, xena, you should have your tsh checked at least every 6 months, minesstill on 3 monthly cos itsless than a year since i had dd2.

Xena · 06/06/2005 18:20

I've never had it checked that often. Maybe I will push for it to be.

Diddle · 06/06/2005 18:20

Hopefully i won't panic, when i tested this early before with an early pg test it was a BFN so i have never had a BFP this early anyway, so all hope won't be lost.

OP posts:
spacecadet · 06/06/2005 18:17

normally i just get my tsh checked ever 3 months

spacecadet · 06/06/2005 18:16

xena, i will get my levels checked at the surgery first and then every month at the hospital from now on, they did with dd2, its important to keep your tsh levels near normal, because it can also affect the baby if the thyroid stays underative in preg, my medswere virtually doubled when i was preg, last time.

Xena · 06/06/2005 18:11

spacecadet I have a under a thyroid they Q's this when I m/c.What do you do? do you get your levels checked asap?
Am still for you everytime I remember

spacecadet · 06/06/2005 18:08

lol diddle, but if bfn dont panic, it could be too early to show>

Diddle · 06/06/2005 18:01

spacecadet - had visions of you lying on the floor on the way back to your pc. So you're 4 wks pg then now.
Well is was testing on Wednesday to keep Rachelrog and you company, as you will both be due a period by then. I probably still will although i am convinced that it will be a BFN either because i'm not pg or i have tested too early. We will see, but if my CBdigitals come tomorrow i may have to test one to make sure its not a faulty batch or something

Hiya Diddle - I'm ok ta. Woke up v early (5am) this morning, so feeling quite tired (but not preggy tired!) as a result. Had started to worry about lack of symptoms as wasn't so tired over the weekend, but nipples are sore today so guess that's a good sign . Really should try and do something constructive with the rest of the day, but it's sooooo hard to tear myself away from forums! Haven't even managed to drag myself upstairs to try on the top I bought today for my brother's wedding to check it goes okay with the suit I'm wearing - maybe I'll go do that now.

Glad you're happy with AD for your tests. They've definitely brought me good results . I never even realised that you could get a discount by setting up an account.

Diddle · 06/06/2005 17:03

You still there Spacecadet, or have you collapsed witht he shock?

Tabs, Cori - How are you both doing??
MaddyD - are you in the office again today, fancy keeping you away from us. Hope you're alright.
