Hi Diddle - Good Joke! Made me chuckle, so true tho! Sounds like you had a lovely morning! Sorry that you are feeling sick, i have my fingers crossed for you that it's not a bug!
I'm o.k today, been mega busy at work ( suprise suprise) Had a nice evening running last night and then did some housework, went grocery shopping then chilled with DP, had an early night and woke up at 6.15 am as bright as a button!( dont usually get up till 7.30-7.45!) Had a good day at work, after work am going for a run and then pick up my dad from my brothers as he is staying with us till saturday ( he came down from wales for DP's birthday) then am getting my ann summers kit, going to a party and then home to bed as i will be shattered!
Feeling quite positive about things! It must be all those chickens, thet are running around everywhere, they have little sun glasses on hankerchiefs on their heads... one has an ice cream van so they are all eating them, but one has just dropped one on the floor, got so upset and his head fell off now he's running around, a headless chicken running around! Oh Bless!

Found a joke on the only joking thread, sorry if you've seen it:

  1. People who point at their wrist while asking for the time.... I know where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is?

  2. People who are willing to get off their ass to search the entire room for the tv remote because they refuse to walk to the tv and change the channel manually.

  3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too". Damn right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

  4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they? Gonna Kick their asses!

  5. When people say while watching a film "did you see that?". No Loser, I paid £12 to come to the cinema and stare at the damn floor.

  6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?".... Didn't really give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?

  7. When something is 'new and improved!'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

  8. When people say "life is short". What the hell?? Life is the longest damn thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer?

  9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks "Has the bus come yet?". If the bus came would I be standing here, dumbass?

Hello!!!
Had a lovely morning, i have one little one off sick so that left me with only one, Thurs mornings i normally take him to the shopping centre, and we have a snack and he loves pushing the pushchair round, and i know he will be safe doing it in the mall. Got some holiday clothes, and had a cake, he didn't want to go home for lunch, then fell asleep on the way back in the car, so is now napping. It was great fun.

Hows is everyone else today???

OP posts:
HellKat · 09/06/2005 12:07

P.s thanks Strike. I used to take a homeopathic remedy but can't remember the name.

HellKat · 09/06/2005 11:54

Wow it's hot out there today!
Got my anti-histamines! 7 day course from poundland. They're pretty good too.
How is everyone?
Glad to hear things are settling down Humphreys. Mine's easing off too. Just wish I knew when my af was going to come.

strike1 · 09/06/2005 10:49

Morning all, what a lovely day!! Feeling a bit green today as my best mate whose been away while I've been going through all this came back last night, so I told her all and she poured wine down my throat. As I haven't been drinking for so long you can imagine what a few glasses did But it feels good to share things with someone (other than you lot of course!)Hope you all survive the hay fever. A friend of mine whose breast feeding at the moment says she found a good herbal remedy which is fine to take while feeding and pregnant. I'll try and find the name and let you know.

Xena · 09/06/2005 10:26

Goodmorning All
Hellkat We can be rudolfs together DH got so sick of me sneezing last night that he went out and bought some antihistimens (I know thats not spelt right but I've tried it about a hundred times and it still doesn't look right) As we are not TTC these are safe atm but how long do they stay in the body as we do want to go for it in a couple of weeks after my AF and they are contraindictive in pg?? anyone know?
Have a great day

Diddle · 09/06/2005 09:21

Morning all

Looks to be a lovely day again-not so good for Hayfever sufferers HellKat My DH and my dad came down with it at the end of last week-they both seem to be affected by the same type of pollen.

Diddle-I hardly have any bleeding now-this can't be right can it as it has only been a week and a half? At least I will know when I have the scan next Wednesday and then I will be on my knees praying for my AF. Will check with my stick that my levels have dropped then.

I'm off to see one of my close friends this afternoon who is 7 months PG with her 2nd child. Infact, 2 of my closest friends are PG and I thought how nice that we were all PG together so our babies would be closer in age this time. My friends little girl is 15 months older and doesn't really gel with my DD so sometimes makes visits a bit unpleasant especially when she asks "when are they going?" the minute we walk through the door.

Of course, I am absolutely over the moon for them but you can't help feeling a twinge of and but not in a malicious way.

Yes, I'm waffling again so I'll wish you all a good day.

Hugs
x

OP posts:
HellKat · 09/06/2005 07:02

Morning all.
How's everyone?
Diddle- yep they're the strip ones.
Look like rudolph the reindeer this morning. Hayfever kicked in badly and have a very fetching scarlet nose! (shiny to because it's covered in vasoline)

HumphreysCorner · 08/06/2005 23:21

Evening ladies

Hope everyone is OK.

I have had a bit of a feeling down day-STUPID HORMONES! Anyway, went to town and food shopping with my mum so on my feet all day and was in quite alot of pain at the end of it. It is the first time I have been out longer than a few hours since the MC. Hope I'll be OK when I go back to work next week. Speaking of work, they have asked me to work on a more permanent basis. Oh, what to do??? Do I say, yes please and then announce that I'm off on maternity leave for a year (in my dreams at the mo I know) or stay as I am and hope that I get enough work to keep me going. Ho hum!

Dh seems to be in a tidying up mood at the moment so he can do it himself as I'm off to bed in a minute.

Enough rambling, I'll speak tomorrow.

Sleep tight all
x
