Congratulations Morefaith, Boodleboot,
Bettymamma, memorylapse and kaystar!!

And sweetkitty, a line is a line is a line, so congratulations to you too!

I got my first "high fertility" reading on the Clearblue Monitor today (CD11) so I'd better jump on DP. Except we had a massive argument last night and I really really really don't fancy a shag.

Sweetpeasmum · 27/08/2009 10:23

Congrats to all the graduates, I'm hoping that some of the good luck washes over the rest of us.

DH now feels like he's in boot camp as I started mandating BD activity at CD8. He's not complaining and is quite pleased that I'm paranoid about missing the ovulation day so will continue to demand sex for many more days to come.

Sorry to hear about your dillema Mampam - I have found that there is no 'best' time for me to have a baby and will have to work through problems as they arise. Hope you work out what's best for you.

memorylapse · 27/08/2009 10:16

congrats to everyone with BFP'S
sweetkitty a line is a line..fingers crossed.

Im a little concerned cos I woke up this morning with the migraine I usually get before my period and am wondering if this means my little bean wont stick

pigleychez · 27/08/2009 10:09

kaystar Congratulations!

Kurgan Hope you find out soon either way.

SK oohhh im getting all excited for you!

mampam Phew what a nightmare day! Only you and you OH can decide when's right for you, im sure you will make the right decision

Woke up this morning with horrible back ache. Too early for symptom spotting, just a general moan.

Hope everyones well and fingers crossed for all!

sweetkitty · 27/08/2009 09:59

PMSL you know me ladies, just back from school and nursery run via Boots where I purchased 2 x CBD and a Boots own brand am waiting for pee to build up again now.

mampam - what a nightmare day, poor you, things like that happen to me too. FWIW I think there is never a right time, I am dreading all the comments I will get if I am PG, wait until I tell you all this Next delivery man turns up yesterday and I said "thanks more trainers for the girls" and he said "well you two are like a pair of rabbits, instead of that playhouse you should have a rabbit warren" I told him well if you keep having girls are beautiful as mine it's rude not too, so I am steeling myself for all the "trying for a boy" "not got a telly" "you need a bigger house/car" "4 children OMG"

Anyone who has any really good retorts I would be pleased to here them

tobago - have fingers crossed for you too

Right off to clean the hosu take my mind off the CBDs in my bag

TheKurgan · 27/08/2009 09:57

Congratulations to Bettymamma, Kaystar and hopefully Sweetkitty! I am really frustrated. Period is 4 days late with no sign of making an appearance but I know I'm not pregnant thanks to the copious amounts of POAS I have been doing . Hard to resist the bag of cheap tests secreted in my knicker drawer! Just want my fecking period to arrive.

ImmaterialGirl · 27/08/2009 09:30

kaystar congratulations!
That's great news.

And a tentative congratulations to sweetkitty as well...

CurlyCasper · 27/08/2009 08:52

I'm a muppet - i meant "hope" of course! Not calling you names!

CurlyCasper · 27/08/2009 08:50

Congrats kaystar As nancy said this is welcome news!

exciting developments sk if you have the will power maybe do another cheapie tomorrow then a CBD the next day to show your OH? or CBD both as tobago says

tobago looks promising for you...

Mam sorry about your shit day. hoe you come up with a way forward you are happy with

x

liahgen · 27/08/2009 08:48

which test did you use kitty maybe splash on a good brand after a 4 hour wee break.

Congrats to the new grads.

tobago04 · 27/08/2009 08:31

What a crap day mampam, sorry your not sure what your going to do about ttc
Let us know if you test again sweetkitty

mampam · 27/08/2009 08:24

Congratulations to Bettymamma and Kaystar Sweetkitty a faint line, thats really good. You should definitely do another test today (well I wouldn't be able to wait!).

WWSW I not sure whether or not I'll be joining you on the June bus. DH and I had a bit of a moment last night and thought to ourselves 'is this really the right time?'. Just because of our financial situation really. One of us needs a full time job (really both of us do but it's not really possible where we live as we would need another car, there's no childcare in this area etc) so I'm kind of thinking I need to get another job or we may move away before carrying on TTC.

Had the shopping trip from Hell yesterday. Had to go and get DC's school uniform. We drove to Torquay, which is an hour away from where we live, and I realised I'd left my handbag at home! If AF hadn't have arrived I would have sworn I was pregnant just from this alone!!!
Anyway obviously I had to go back and get it and everything else went downhill from there too eg, waiting an hour in Clarks for DS to be measured and fitted, going into the restaurant at Sainabury's, getting our drinks only to be told they couldn't serve food, this did not make for happy children and we didn't get half of what we wanted. We arrived home 8 hours after we left!!

NancyPreg · 27/08/2009 08:08

Congratulations Kaystar that is very welcome news!!

And SK I will tentatively congratulate you too because a line is a line is a line and you know that! I would say the other tests were BFN because you tested too early or with weak wee? However, I understand your caution - all you can do is to wait and do another test tomorrow or in 48hrs....but fingers crossed for you!

tobago looking promising for you?!

tobago04 · 27/08/2009 08:03

Uhh sweetkitty
Why would you get faint line if your not though?
How exciting! Are there any offers on at the mo for 2 for 1 on CBD's? then you could do one today and tomorrow?

sweetkitty · 27/08/2009 07:37

Oh and bear in mind I got a BFN on a Tesco 2 days ago and BFN on ebay yesterday, hatching chickens??!!!

sweetkitty · 27/08/2009 07:36

Got up at 7am in my bleery eyed state (DD2 bad dream) POAS brought DD3 downstairs and checked on it and there is a very faint line did a "control" at the same time and nothing. Now I am not screaming those letters, I will not believe it until I get a CBD I also know it does not mean a baby, I will not be happy until I am being booted in the ribs. Now do I buy a CBD and do it tonight or wait until tomorrow, the ways I have told DP have been crap in the past so I want to POAS and just hand him it before anything comes up, I am so sure nothing is going to come up though.

kaystar - congratulations

WWSW - go get pissed and enjoy, you deserve it

bluesnowfalcon · 27/08/2009 07:29

WWSW sorry to hear that AF got you but i'm sure I'll see you on the June bus as have a feeling that I won't be BFP this month

Tobago keeping my fingers crossed for you for Fri - let us know what you get

Sweetkitty how are you getting on? Any signs either way yet? Thinking of you and hoping you get a BFP not AF!

bluesnowfalcon · 27/08/2009 07:20

Congratulations Kaystar it's great to have another BFP on here keeps the rest of us going and feeling slightly positive

tobago04 · 27/08/2009 07:03

Congratulations kaystar it's hard to sleep when you know your going to test is'nt it?
This bus is getting luckier by the day!
Make the most of it wwsw hopefully it wont be too long before you have to give it up
I thought i'd come on in the night but got up and nothing

Kaystar · 27/08/2009 04:44

Morning all

Congrats betty and memorylapse - great news!

Well, I gave in yesterday and popped into the chemist on the way home and bought a CB two-pack - the only one I could find that you could test before you are due on.

Up early this morning to POAS and... BFP. Am in shock as I really did not think that I was pregnant (had had some feelings that I might be a week or so ago but they faded and Fertility Friend was not being so positive for me!) but cannot stop looking like Will have to put on serious face for work!

Woke up DH to tell him and he managed to sound excited though half asleep - guess I can understand as it was 4.30am!

Good luck to you all - let's get many more graduates from this huge bus!

sky27 · 26/08/2009 23:44

Curly and Umbongo My OPK results lasted 2 days and I didn't ov until cd19/20...so good luck!

sweetkitty oo hope the poas goes well tmrw, if not it would be nice to have you on the June bus

tobago I plan to get bladdered all weekend with my fil before hoiking myself back onto the waggon for next month. Feck, just remembered I'm going on a hen weekend learning to surf next month right after ov arrrrghhh! Great, had better not drink too much at that point (assuming of course I don't drown!)

I'm gonna hang about and lurk, coz I don't know, but you lot are lovely and I want to see some more graduates

UmBongo · 26/08/2009 21:57

Hello again, been away camping right across the middle of my cycle, but, home now and temp rose this morning so, lets hope we manage to shag before falling asleep tonight after 6 nights in tent with wind, rain and other people too near - (see other thread about shagging in tents!) Congratulations, so many bfps while i have been away!

Does anyone know if you miss a day with poas opks, does the positive still show up the next day? This is my first month of opks, so don't know much about them!

pigleychez · 26/08/2009 21:45
