l am being really patient DH wants us to test at the weekend.l know l have never been preggers but l dare say l feel really preggers.

tobago04 · 19/08/2009 08:24

wow good luck morefaith, your doing well holding off til then

morefaith · 19/08/2009 08:17

tobago l am testing at the weekend l am always bang on time but by the weekend l will be over a week late.babydust to you and all testing soon.

tobago04 · 19/08/2009 08:11

Hopefully we will both get BFP then!!
Good luck to everyone else too!

bluesnowfalcon · 19/08/2009 08:06

Good luck with the wait - I would be due about then ish and a BFP would be a great birthday pressie for the 3rd!

Good luck

tobago04 · 19/08/2009 08:01

Thanks bluesnowfalcon I did say that i would'nt test til the 1st Sept so i know i'm defo late, so will try and stick to that and put it out of my mind I will be strong!

bluesnowfalcon · 19/08/2009 07:55

Does kind of make sense but I think i'd wait a bit rather than getting a BFN and then worrying over it at the mo.

I wouldn't worry over dates as scans can gie you an idea of dates - my SIL thought she was 14 weeks but was told that she was only 11 at scan so I guess dates can be off even when we think we've worked them out

Good luck Tobago04 and if you do test then let us know how you get on

tobago04 · 19/08/2009 07:49

Morning all, said to dh maybe i should test this morning and he said no wait! I'm just thinking that if iam lucky to get BFP im not going to know when my due date is, due to 37 day cycle last month,so my thinking is that if i do a test now and don't get BFP but do later then i know i have'nt conceived within a 28 day cycle, does that make sense? but if i do test and am not i'm going to feel stupid

bluesnowfalcon · 19/08/2009 07:46

Morning all - this seems to be such a busy thread that i can't keep up with all the posts.

Want to say good luck all and keeping fingers crossed for everyone

I hope lots of us make the graduate list this month x

Bettymamma · 19/08/2009 07:40

blimey ladylou - i haven't seen action like that since my very early 20's. How do you have the energy? Thanks for the help in avoiding mania due to the 10 minute nausea i experienced last night

WWSW i don't feel pg at all either. Maybe thats a sign of pg - yawwwnn. Runs off in hysteria.

Morning all by the way.

ladylou well done!

nancypreg no haven't tested yet this month Am being strong and holding out - despite the ultra early 10mil tests I've got . Really dont feel pg at all.

Ladylou83 · 18/08/2009 22:44

No Bettymamma, dont do it!!!!! We have to be strong, no sympton spotting. Stay strong!

She see's, she shoots, she SCORES!!!!! Whoop, 2 shags in 2 days. WHOOP WHOOP!!! Have agreeded with DH that will have 5 day shagathon, then he doesnt have to worry about it, unless he wants to.

NancyPreg · 18/08/2009 22:43

WWSW I didn't realise you'd tested? Still, plenty of time left yet for you to get the right result

OP posts:
WickedWitchSouthWest · 18/08/2009 22:28

I'm queen symptom spotter! I so know I'm not pg this month coz I've had a glass of wine whilst being domestic goddess in the kitchen and I feel a bit pished. Now when I got pg with dd, several glasses of wine had no effect at all. That's actually what made me do a test! Gah.

NancyPreg · 18/08/2009 22:23

You lot are doing some enviable symptom spotting

Medee ClearBlue Fertility Monitor !

tobago oooohh you're right at the front of the bus now aren't you! Finger x for you to be a graduate by the weekend cos we need that grad list to start filling up!

tobago04 · 18/08/2009 21:48

Wow this bus is busy!
Welcome to the newbies, glad you've joined us bluesnowfalcon
I'm getting really tempted to test now, have enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine lately and really think i should stop incase iam Only drink at weekends so might test then! Have no symptoms though, but then i did'nt with other dcs,is anyone else testing soon?

Bettymamma · 18/08/2009 21:04

I can't keep up with you crazy ladies! So nice to have such a busy thread.

MrsR - have u done a test? did i miss something? Just to throw the cat amongst the pigeons i have BFN's for both my dd's saved in their baby boxes. How nice... I'll have to explain i tested early...

Sooooo - i'm not symptom spotting remember? I've had no symptoms to spot unlike last month when i had what WickedWitchoftheWest was describing which resulted in a late AF.

Anyway, this evening..a few hours after dinner, i felt nauseous, the kind of nauseous where you have to eat something to stop yourself feeling nauseous and i went to the fridge and EVERYTHING smelt really strong and made me feel nauseous.

Not again - don't drive me insane mind! Ladylou smack my hand.

morefaith · 18/08/2009 20:29

evening all thanks NANCYPREG for adding me to the list.Havin cramps on and off since last week also hamstring like pain on my left leg.

sky27 · 18/08/2009 20:22

I'm joining MrsR Pregnant till proven not! Walking around holding tummy

WickedWitchSouthWest · 18/08/2009 19:17

evening ladies!

this bus is so busy!

snowbunny I get positive opk's between cd14 and 16 so I still seem to ov at the "right" time but must have a longer luteal phase.

oh so sorry shesadiamond hope next month is lucky for you

Hi thekurgan am also halfway thru the 2ww. Am still balloon shaped! BUT (and you're all going to know what a mentalist I am now) but last month I decided to keep a symptom record of 2ww so I'd at least work out if af is coming vs being pg! I looked over it just now and all the symptoms I'm feeling now (bloated / occasional sharp pains in lower abdomen / tired) are exactly the same as this point last month. Last month I wasn't pg (obviously) so I assume I'm not this month either. ARGH.

mrsrigby aaaaahhhhh!!!! I've done that every month since starting this ridiculous rollercoaster! I mentally slap myself every time the bfn comes up but then I was a day and do another coz I'm so convinced I'm pg! Anyway, who knows, you may have caught first time this time round? Keep testing (lol! ignore me!)

hi bluesnowfalcon welcome to the madhouse. Good luck!

mampam I'm so sorry...it's a shit situation to be in. I guess you've got lots of baby things from your dc that you could reuse? Or have you done what we've done and flogged loads? (kicking myself now about that). And this is abit cheeky, but if it was to be dh's first, would the grandparents-to-be help you out?

bubbalewy I use el cheapo sticks off ebay - £1.99 for 20 plus postage I think.

sayanything · 18/08/2009 18:47

Nancy, the instructions say that it could ask for up to 20 tests in the first cycle, so I suppose it would keep asking for tests until OV and then adjust accordingly for later cycles.

That's the theory anyways. This is the first cycle I'm using the CBFM for, so I'll see how it goes and report back.

mampam I really, really hope that you get a juicy BFP this month because it would take away any decision making in an instant and boost your spirits too. Only you can make a decision to continue ttc (if a BFP eludes you this month) but you probably already know that it's only possible to plan to not have any dc, not when to have them. I hope your situation improves soon....

say interesting that the CBFM asks you for data from CD6 up until CD15 (10 days) because that wouldn't work for my cycle, given that I usually see my surge post CD16! If you don't see a surge during CD6-CD15, then perhaps you ovulate later than you think??
