skihorse LOL at piss-stick!!

Just a quick question, how long is implantation after ovulation?

liahgen · 20/08/2009 09:24

Hi ski

I cmpletely Get you about not posting, I feel like that every month at the mo.

Came back last night from visitig rellies as ov this week, dh knew why I was coming home early and guess what

bloody chatted a bit, then went to sleep....AAAGGGGGHHHHHH

Only got few days left this month, going out in min to get opk

cross fingers for me please someone

ski i hope it's your month this time

tobago you too

skihorse · 20/08/2009 09:21

blue/snow I tested this morning and got nothing - although I see from tobago's earlier post that you won't have any significant level of hormones until ~7 days after implantation.

Symptoms: I've had a couple of flutters + cramps type things although nowhere near as many as last time. I've had some pains - never been woken up by a pain before! Brain is a bit fuzzy/mushy but then it's horrendously hot so that might explain it. I have a lump in my boob which I've previously had a mammogram for (years ago) which I was told was a hormone surge - and OH says my milk ducts look more prominent.

I will try and calm down dear - and test again on saturday. I only have on piss-stick left and I don't get paid until next week so I need to time it well!

SnowBunny1 · 20/08/2009 09:14

Morning Everyone

ilovetoshop sorry to hear that you have had to make such a tough decision. Fingers crossed for your job hunting, hopefully see you back here very soon.....or not iykwim

tobago are you the most patient woman in the world?!?!?! I would have to test, but I am very impatient. Don't do it until you're ready for whatever the result may be (I'm very excited for you though, just the thought that you could be is almost too much-somebody bring me a straight jacket)

Welcome skihorse, by the sounds of it you could be having a very short ride on this bus and off to the graduates bus to join gargula. When are you going to test?

Good luck to everone else

After all my questions on the short bleed long cycle, would you believe I'm on day 6 and still bleeding. DH is away for a week as of tomorrow so am now in a worry that I'll miss the next bus too. Oh well, what will be and all that stuff

Please someone test soon, I need some joy even if it is someone elses

tobago04 · 20/08/2009 09:11

Ah see i had sex the night before, maybe it was that then?

bluesnowfalcon · 20/08/2009 09:10

skihorse welcome to the bus! What symptoms? Are you going to test or wait and see? Hope all goes well for you

skihorse · 20/08/2009 08:58

"erosian" - ?? - brain/spelling as gone - is that a symptom?

skihorse · 20/08/2009 08:57

Right, I'm a late entrant - I didn't want to get on the bus because I was so pissed off last month at NOT being pregnant - does that make any sense at all?

Well anyway I now find myself in the same boat as tobago - I had a single spot of blood on monday - and I'd not had sex on the sunday so I ruled out the cervical erosian thing. I woke up at ~5am this morning with a "poke" in my belly and POAS with 3mu - BFN. I've had some symptoms although tbh - far, far fewer than the last time where I got nearly everything in the book. tobago when are you planning to test again?

tobago04 · 20/08/2009 08:56

I know it's so temptimg, might do one in the morning if i have'nt come on by then

mampam · 20/08/2009 08:53

It's definitely looking hopeful. Have you got any symptoms?

I got hardly any sleep last night, I felt absolutely boiling hot and still do now. I don't feel ill or anything just knackered!

mummydemma · 20/08/2009 08:52

Morning everyone!

tobago it sounds very promising! I can't believe you are going to have the will power to not test for a week when you have a full range of them at home! Do it....go on!

I hardly managed to get home from the supermarket when I bought mine last week, I was searching the car for clean plastic vessels!!!

ilovetoshop sorry you have had to make such a hard decision. Good luck in your job search and your future TTC.

sky27 · 20/08/2009 08:49

Morning ladies. Boring 2ww. Can't even symptom spot for the next 3-6 days.

Babydust and fingers crossed for everyone.

tobago04 · 20/08/2009 08:32

I know i'm getting my hopes up now Just looked up implantation bleeding and it said you would'nt get a BFP until a week later so don't think it would be any good testing yet, also came across an online pregnancy test/questionaire on www.babymed.com for all those symptom spotters!

mampam · 20/08/2009 08:21

ilove good luck for the future and I hope everything works out for you

tobago so AF didn't come in the night like you assumed it would?? Have you tested??
It's sooooo exciting

tobago04 · 20/08/2009 07:44

Morning everyone, what a shame ilovetoshop hope you get a new job very soon. Well i survived another day! Actually told DH that i had come on when i saw the speck so he'll be in for a shock if iam!

bluesnowfalcon · 20/08/2009 07:15

Any news tobago? Did it come and get you in the night or did you survive?

ilove sorry to hear about the job - good luck in getting a new one and being back on the bus.

Make the most of the bonking everyone!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 19/08/2009 23:16

oh ilove what a decision to have to make. Take care, and hopefully you'll be back soon (but in the nicest possible way, I hope I'm not still ttc in a few months lol!!)
Take care, chuck

ilove2shop · 19/08/2009 23:00

hello, hope everyone is keeping well

Im leaving the bus im afraids, dont want to, but have to. Because im being made redundant i feel need to get another job before i get pregnant, as noone is going to employ a preggers lady as much as i hope they would!!
So hopefully ill be only gone a few months, if i get a new job soon enough! i hope you all get your bfp soon...and in a nice way theres a new bunch of TTCers on here and your all well on you ways to a bundle of joy
Take care and thanks for all your support xxxx

WickedWitchSouthWest · 19/08/2009 22:36

tobago that actually sounds really hopeful! Looks like you're our main graduation hope

mampam · 19/08/2009 21:46

Yes, typical, I have got the stereotypical MIL from hell. She's out of our lives now thankfully. If When we get a BFP and have a baby she may come sniffing round us. We'll cross that bridge if and when it happens I guess.

THANK GOD that I ovulated last weekend. DH has now got Thrush!! Don't think I've got it as I'm not itching or anything. He's defo got all the symptoms. Bloody Hell, I was really in the mood for a bonk tonight.

Bettymamma Switzerland sounds absolutely idyllic and I bet the scenary is beautiful.

When I was a kid, I think my pet rabbit had a phantom pregnancy!

tobago04 · 19/08/2009 21:41

Evening all!
Thanks for all your thoughts
Well had a speck of bright red blood this afternoon and thats it, sure its going to come and get me in the night!!
Can't believe how busy this bus is,know what you mean NancyPreg feels like Gargula will have had hers by the time we get another BFP!

Bettymamma · 19/08/2009 21:33

My mum's dog has phantom pregnancies all the time. And yes i forgot about Queen Mary, she went proper doolally!

I think we have done so well to while away the time with our talking whilst noone's actually getting BFPs. It's brilliant. We'll get 10 in 1 day next week!

Mampam - Switzerland - ohhhh yes, the kids walk home from school on their own from 5/6. People look out for everyone's kids here more - there's a great belief that society has a duty to bring up the kids not just the parents. So you often get interfering old bats telling you that your child should be wearing a hat but apart from that it's quite nice.

Seaside - oh yes i miss it, but they have sandy banks by the lakes here and they are so clean to swim in.

Now -what are we all doing here. Oh yes TTC. 2ww yawn!
