I tested this morning and was BFN but af not due til Friday so if she doesn't arrive over weekend I'll test again Monday...but so far my prediction of good news week isn't exactly coming true!

(Trying not to get hopes up that I tested too early but seriously, af never makes my boobs go like this. )

well I have period pains only sorted out with a 'beaker' of wine and lovely jack harkness so I think thts me out of the running this month. Still feel sick though. Totally fed up with this 2ww rubbish and stupid stick things and wonder what I used to fill my time with before!

Had a sneaky laugh tonight. My SIL who is quite far away from having DC was in tonight when DD chose to do her 2nd poo in the potty in the living room. The smell was awful and SIL doidn't know where to look, especially when DD was so proud and wanted SIL to admire it! It's a classy house this!

vj i also knicker check contstantly, i think you're right, once you mc, you cant enjoy pregnancy in the same way. Yesterday I was freaking out as I was having period-pain type cramps, along with (TMI information alert) diorhea (sp?) and constipation, so that was freaking me out, but i think it was just due to the rich foods ive been having for the past few days as Ive been at a wedding since friday (indian weddings go on forever!) I came back early from the wedding and just slept. But luckily there was no blood, I still dont have my appetite back. I also worry constantly that the baby doesnt kick enough, and then i worry whether theres a difference between kicking and movement [hmmm] ???

gracie ive been using palmers cocoa butter and my stomach is so nice and smooth! even my midwife commented on how nice my tummy looked... but ive also heard bio oil is good so maybe give that a go..

Well I'm off to pick up dh now, he's just done the 3 peaks challenge for the 4th time, climbing Ben Nevis, Sca Fell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours He's spent today driving back from Snowdon, I'm so proud of him. Him and his team have raised a fair bit for the British Heart Foundation

Hi Iggy - doing away thanks , still worrying every day but that will be with me until lo is here. Have my triple blood test on Wed. and fully expect to come back high risk due to age, bleeding and previous mcs. Have already decided not to get amnio or anything diagnostic, what will be will be. We don't get Nuchal scans up here so bloods and 20 week scan is all we can go on..

Gracie - ouch! re: cocoa butter. I use various oils (Neutrogena/Bio oil/Body Shop) as its v. easily absorbed and not itchy at all. Think its your luck if you escape stretch marks, I did last time but got varicous veins instead .

Curly - hope you're tucked up in bed and resting. MS is the pits, I have the vomit stained t-shirt to prove it! It does get easier though although it took to 15 weeks for me for it to pass...

Potty training is going quite well. Think we're going to have to take the huge bear chair come potty on holiday with us though. Not exactly practical for whipping out in a lay by.
