BlueMoon1981 · 07/07/2009 20:50

congrats to becks

kate im worried about you too, make sure you come on here often and let us look after you please. And you've no need to be sorry, we will do anything we can to help you xx

neeko im afraid i have been having a little meltdown without you , i feel bad for coming on here and moaning when so many of you have been through worse times than me. i just feel like i've had enough. i cant stop crying. all those pg people at work make me feel so distraught, and i sit looking at them and their bellies. and today, omg i am such a horrible person, one of the ladies was off work, she is being referred to a paediatric gp cuz her 'obs were low' whatever that means, and my first thought was 'well that'll teach her for shouting about being pg and making a big deal of things if she loses it' that is so not me, what is wrong with me?!

Neeko · 07/07/2009 20:11

Mollie sorry you did say that about the placenta already and I forgot Didn't that happen to Sabs or Vjay too? I vaguely remember discussing it. Please use it as a reason to take things really easy and if DH gets too desperate I suppose there are other ways, but only if he has a birthday coming up! I'm sure when your lo is up all night and being sick on him he'll feel it's all worth it (Of course I'm joking - we all know that Emmsy's graduates will be perfect babies!) Take care.

mermaidspurse · 07/07/2009 19:38

mollie golly mollie what is this sex??? Is it anything to do with bd cos thats what we do round hereSeriously though thank goodness she told you and your poor dh. But it will all be worth it in the end. The bleeding has stopped though?

Molliemooma · 07/07/2009 18:53

My so many posts so little time
Blue Good luck with the triple test, hope all goes well x
Iggy Welcome back from hols, really hope you did bring back something extra
Mermaid Sorry to hear that TEW (or something similar) got you
MlS The ups and downs are a killer aren't they, what used to confuse me is the fact that things you would think should upset you didn't and the smallest of innocent things would send you into a full meltdown Sending you strong healing thoughts
Neeko They did give me a reason for the bleeding at the scan, I have a low lying placenta currently over my cervix, hopefully it will move but they will keep an eye on it. I went to doctors today about something unrelated and she started telling me how I can't have sex with this condition!! I'm gutted of course well DH is, bless him. Loved the potty stories by the way
Cupcake Sorry for BFN, but I'm not yet as it's still very early, might surprise us yet!
Curly Hope you are feeling better soon
MrsKate Just remember it's hard for you too when DH is depressed, it affects both of you, sending you positive healing thoughts too
4ever Hope you had a lovely anniversary
Becks congratulations
Jools It's so lovely to hear you obsessing again, to me that's normal happy crazy Jools back which is a good sign Also sounds very promising

I know I've forgotten about a million people so I apologise!

Neeko · 07/07/2009 17:59

Neeko · 07/07/2009 17:27

Hi all

Cupcake sorry about BFN. Hope it's just because you're an eager beaver

MLS how are you bearing up today? Thursday won't be long I promise. Our DDs will meet next time you're in Scotland and I'll supply the hard hats!

Moon are you ok? Hope you're not having any kind of meltdown on your own.

Hope everyone else is ok too.

I STILL haven't ovulated despite all the symptoms and the positive opks. I'm really fed up of it all. This will be the 7th night in a row that DH and I have BD and we're both fed up but determined that we're not going to miss ov. feeling quite crappy about it all

mermaidspurse · 07/07/2009 17:11

I want a big magic wand for all of us right now.

Hi All,

I haven't been on here for ages!!! Thank you cupcake on your lovely message xx

I just wanted to let you all know that I got my BFP a few weeks ago I think that I am about 7 weeks, I had a scan done 10 days ago and saw a heartbeat which was great and I'm going back next friday for a reassurance scan as this is when I mc last time.

I am over the moon that i'm pregnant again but I really didn't imagine it would be so hard mentally, I read in to everything.

Morning sickness has been awful but I'm still not reassured as I saw a heat beat at 6 weeks last time and had symtoms up until I had the ERPC done, I don't think I will feel reassured until this baby is born!

I hope your all doing fine and hope we get some so more BFP very soon so sticky baby dust to you all xxx

hopingalways · 07/07/2009 12:24

ps just been super brave and had polite conversation with a friend with the same due date I would have had from my first pg. She goes on maternity leave next week . I haven't spoken to her in 6 months because every time I've felt strong enough I had another mc.

just want to crawl under my desk and sob why couldn't it have been us?

iggypiggy · 07/07/2009 12:14

mls I have thousands of OPKs at home - i just never remember to use them and I forgot to take them on holiday with me... even though I meant to use them this month... Maybe next month I get myself in gear...

That is so sweet of your DD singing

Hope the headaches go soon - I guess you just need to drink lots of water so you don't get dehydrated with the blood loss? I always get headaches when am dehydrated. x

jools don't worry - I am obessively symptom spotting too

hoping well done for congratulating the pregnant woman - I have one in my office, but am finding it ok at the mo.

blue enjoy edinburgh - is my favourite city - I lived there for a year and still miss it

cupcakefairy · 07/07/2009 12:06

Hi MLS glad to see you on here sorry about the lows and the headaches...wish you weren't having to go through it all again
Glad you will be able to support your friend though (but I know that's v little consolation in all this mc crap!)

I know, I know, I tested too early, I deserve a telling off I honestly would have waited until the weekend but I'm on a work conference Weds/Thurs then at in-laws from Thurs night to Sun night! Wasn't gonna test at theirs cos that would just be too weird...

mermaid you have got me really wanting rosé with strawberries now!! Have just eaten 2 marmite rice cakes...yummy!

MummyLovesSadie · 07/07/2009 11:37

Hello ladies

Phew this mc lark is a right old rollercoaster - I'd forgotten how low you can suddenly be after feeling relatively ok for a while. On top of that I've been getting debilitating headaches which I suppose could either be because of the bloodloss (still bleeding steadily for 10 days now) or because of the hormonal crash. I just hope that when this is all over, my desire to conceive again isn't as all-consuming as the last time as that was a total & utter headfuck!

Mermaid sorry the old witch got you, bloody bitch.

Iggy don't you use opk's? If I didn't know when I ovulated I'd be demanding bd action every day of the month!

Cupcake it is still early to test & your symptoms sound promising. Have faith.

Jools animals definitely have a 6th sense, if you get a bfp you will have to loan your catu out to the rest of us!

Sabs don't feel guilty, you give the rest of us hope as we all aspire to be in the big pants crew (was going to say we all aspire to be in your big pants but that didn't sound right!).

Neeko your dd is priceless! I'd love it if our dd's met up in rl, imagine the mischief they'd get up to!

MrsKate sending a big hug for you & dh. At lease he recognises he has a problem which is the first step to recovery.

Curly how are you feeling today?

Well I just found out today that a friend of mine from my antenatal group is going through a mc at 7 weeks so I directed her to mn. I hope she joins as it was the best thing I ever did.

I think my favourite bit of my birthday was when my dd tried to sing 'happy birthday' to me & she got her words all muddled up & started singing 'sing a rainbow to you, sing a rainbow to you, sing a rainbow to you-hooo, sing a rainbow to you'!

Must go now as halfway though making some of Mermaids fantastic watercress soup in the hope that it helps with the headaches.

Bye for now.

hopingalways · 07/07/2009 11:36

cupcake step away from the hpts until the weekend! I know it's tempting to test early (I'm a champion offender ) but testing early can seriously mess you up. Picking up a chemical pregnancy at 3 ish weeks crushes you if AF comes, and getting a BFN just means you'll test again later. if you are pg, then you'll know within days anyway! (and so hope for you that you are!)

mrsKate so sorry to hear about your DH. Depression is nasty, so really glad to see he's seeking some help for it. Suffering from its like standing in a lovely sunny meadow and watching dark storm clouds roll in and block out the light. You feel you can do as much to stop it as you can to change the weather. He's lucky he's got you to help him through it. We're here to help you through it too!

mermaid that sucks - rose in the garden for you as soon as the rain stops!

iggy glad to see you back! your hols sounded fab holiday babies are the way to go

jools sorry to hear about your wrist. ice cream is v good for sprains (or at least sprains are a v good excuse for ice cream )

blue good luck with the bloods, hoping everything will be fine for you

I was brave today, I made myself congratulate someone I know who's just announced she's pg and sound like I mean it. She's nearly 6 months gone but doesn't look it...I suspect a knicker checker . Desperate to ask her but with the job still looking insecure I don't want to advertise my situation. [insert paranoia emoticon here]

dh is right I'm losing the plot - been feeling sick and giddy on and off for a few days now, and my bras have felt a bit on the tight side. I have been ignoring it as combination of PMT and wishful thinking...but now they are here with AF I have no idea what to think!

Joolsiam · 07/07/2009 11:34

I'm obsessing today and it is only 2 DPO

Cat story - possible symptom as she has done similar before - always gets really really cuddly and clingy
Wide awake and ready to get up, completely sleepless most of the night - always my earliest PG symptom
Sudden unexplained diarrhea on Sunday afternoon for approx 2 hours - has been a symptom of conception (sperm meeting egg) before
Shooting pain in left boob in early hours of this morning
Tender nipples

Answers
Cat happy cos she got tuna
Wide awake cos busy at work and lots on mind
Diarrhea - one of those things - I'd just eaten a big meal
Pain in boob - random
Tender nipples - too much attention during weekend BD

Gaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

You will be coming in white coats to cart me away by the end of 2 weeks

bluesatinsash · 07/07/2009 11:28

Mermaid - it feels hopeful you having 'AF' pains this early ...

Jools - they do say cats have a sixth sense, maybe she is staking her claim on you while she can .

Vjay - here is a papoos (if the link works) here It will be such a relief/novelty to go to the loo once lo is here and not worry what's 'there'

Hi sabs - lovely to hear from you, hope your grievance gets sorted before you finish up and can forget ALL about work for months and months and months .

Neeko - you DD is a shining star with the potty training, I can picture the smell only too well

MreKate - sorry to hear about your DH but seeking help is a good sign as so many men just bottle things up or go silent or to the pub...

Cupcake - hope the BFN is only because you tested too early...

MLS - will be thinking about you all week, just awful shit timing with your birthday and ERPC in same week . We miss you and your slightly mad posts .

Barbie - if you're lurking, hope you're having a fabulous holiday back home and haven't had to resort to digging out your hat and scarf

We're off to Edinburgh today to see my sister and her tribe, cue me curled up on couch reading old copies of 'Good Housekeeping' whilst DS is entertained by his big cousins

Joolsiam · 07/07/2009 11:19

Mermaid - are you SURE this is AF if it is early and you are feeling that icky aswell ??

Love the thought of strawberries in the rose - I have some growing in the garden so will try that tonight (only one tho just in case) - will it make me feel younger than 39.5 ?

Starving today - had to finish all my lunch by 10am - will be out shopping for more at midday

iggypiggy · 07/07/2009 11:10

oh cupcake must have x-posted with you - sorry you got a BFN, but hope is not lost until AF arrives - I got a BFN before the BFP in Feb

mermaidspurse · 07/07/2009 09:41

jools that exact bottle of blossom hill has been this months fav, have been putting wild strawberries in it for extra nectar induced raptures and to make me feel not 41 and bloody desperate
Now then pilates is a bit like knitting patterns for me I get all confused and in a muddle, sorry you have sprained your wrist but I am crossing everything for you in the 2ww (the dark nowomans land of the soul)

cupcake what are we like girl? I am still hopeful for you though. At least you can enjoy your boobies.
I feel absolutely sick giddy and dreadful abdo pains and I'm early what is it day 23 or something

iggypiggy · 07/07/2009 09:39

Morning all!

vjay I hope am on the 2ww now - but as per usual have failed to work out when am ovulating... Hopefully it was last thurs/ fri cos I think that was when it was in terms of ewcm...

neeko symptom spotting? moi?! but of course

sorry you out this month mermaid x

sabs liking this holiday themed conception - have my fingers crossed it has worked for me & cupcake

mrskate have a hug from me too xx
