33 mins to go - time to sit down with a nice cuppa. Deep breaths and feel the strong sticky vibes hovering around this thread.

GracieGirl · 10/07/2009 07:53

It seems to have been 7 o'clock for hours. can't ring midwife till 8:30am. Got browny red discharge this morning.

Thanks jools and MLS. neeko yes keep telling us about your DD, it makes me smile even when I'm having a major stress like now.

MummyLovesSadie · 10/07/2009 07:40

Oh Gracie sending lots of positive vibes & hair-strokes your way. You are so lucky to have the lovely MrsKate as a friend. Will log in later when I get back from my scan.

Neeko pmsl at your dd.

Joolsiam · 10/07/2009 07:24

Morning Gracie Missed all this last night. Hope you are OK and MrsKate has been looking after you (what a fab friend to pop round at that time of night)

Odd bits of blood (from implantation etc) can clump together and end up being expelled as what looks like a clot, but really is just a lump of old blood - hope this is the reason but am offering both hands to hold anyway x x x

Neeko I LOVE hearing about your DD

Working from home today myself - waiting for my new toy to arrive - a Satnav, so I don't wimp out of going places any more for fear of getting lost

GracieGirl · 09/07/2009 23:03

Bless you Sabs for texting MrsKate. She is on her way round to keep me company.

Curlywurlee · 09/07/2009 23:01

gracie I did some googling and a small brown clot didn't ring any alarm bells. Talking to the midwife is a great plan, I'm sure she will be able to reassure you. I'm sending you the most massive hug honey and a hand to hold. Remember you have a very strong bean who is probably wondering what all the fuss is about

If you need anything, pls text me. I hope you can get some sleep xxx

Let us know how you get on. I'm working from home tomorrow so it will be easier for me to keep on checking on here....

Try and get some rest if you can....

Sweet dreams everyone....

GracieGirl · 09/07/2009 22:55

I've just read back at what Neeko wrote earlier, is there any chance they could hear a heartbeat with a doppler at 9 weeks and 4 days?

BlueMoon1981 · 09/07/2009 22:55

the hands are here for you whenever you need them. please make sure you call first thing, and try to get some rest tonight.

GracieGirl · 09/07/2009 22:51

Thanks Moon, Sabs and Curly for all happening to be here late at night to hold my hand.

I've just released its friday tomorrow which means my midwife will be at my GP surgery all morning. I'll ring at 9am and see what she has to say.

BlueMoon1981 · 09/07/2009 22:49

brown blood is old blood isnt it? maybe just bean settling in? i know its easier said than done but try not to worry it could be something and nothing.

SabsBigPants · 09/07/2009 22:43

i know its not much use, but we're here to hold your hand.... Like curlee said im sure its nothing to panic about

GracieGirl · 09/07/2009 22:42

The clot was brown. Probably nothing.

Curlywurlee · 09/07/2009 22:41

gracie what colour was the clot?

OP posts:
GracieGirl · 09/07/2009 22:39

EPAU is only open 9-4:30pm. I can't go to A&E i work there, there's not much A&E can do anyway. DH is not home till monday.

If it was lots of blood I'd ring the gynae ward or go to A&E. I could always wake Kate up to come with me. So far only one small clot.

SabsBigPants · 09/07/2009 22:33

do you have an EPAU thats open at this time gracie? like moon says I dont think you'll be able to sleep. Is DH around or someone else to take you to A&E?

Curlywurlee · 09/07/2009 22:31

gracie don't panic honey, it's probably nothing. But I think you should call the hospital now and get a scan organised asap. I'm sure it is nothing but at least it is a reason to get an immediate scan and not have to wait two weeks

OP posts:
BlueMoon1981 · 09/07/2009 22:31

gracie i dont know what to suggest, but you wouldn't get a wink of sleep if you went to bed. i would call the epau for advice, i don't think you'll rest til you do. oh i hope everything is ok, hands at the ready for squeezing xx

SabsBigPants · 09/07/2009 22:27

oh gracie ....have you been feeling any other symptoms?

GracieGirl · 09/07/2009 22:25

I've just passed a small clot. can't decide whether to panic or go to bed and pretend it didn't happen.

Neeko · 09/07/2009 22:03

Thanks Curly I thought I was the only one who had that plan with ironing Do you think men know?!

bluesatinsash · 09/07/2009 22:03

Neeko PMSL at your DD spider fango story - , at least you are still getting away with calling it your 'bottom' .

Moon glad your getting looked afteer at work, have a lovely weekend with your DP's Mum. Getting back out into socialising does help...

Curly - not said Hi for a wee while, excuse my manners . I sympathise with the throwing up but its just bean letting you know he/she is comfy! I'm still having the odd hurl but mostly if I'm v. v. tired and have eaten too much.

Gracie - you need to get those shifts sorted out big time. Do they not realise you have a precious cargo! (of course they may not if you've not told them yet....)

Night all x

Curlywurlee · 09/07/2009 22:02
