hello girls, fab news on the good scans and looks like mrskate will soon be going us!

I think something is happening to me my boobs have sort of deflated and i have had very very runny discharge which is now tinted a browny, yellow colour

I had to wear white pants to go with my outfit and i normally always wear dark colours so you can imagen my concern when i went to the bathroom at the brunch and saw coloured discharge....thankfully panick mode hasnt kicked in until now...im home and dh is on the sofa asleep.
I think ill just wait until tomorrow and then ill call my regular gp and see if i can bring forward to scan asap. Or they might be able to recommmend somewhere else. Trying not to panick so much but its so hard. Sorry its all me me me

MrsKate · 24/07/2009 18:31

i dont want to get all excited for nothing i dont know what to do ????

BlueMoon1981 · 24/07/2009 18:31

congrats to gracie and annie i am very happy all went well, i was thinking of you both at work today. kate ooooh another bfp on its way i hope

for those who asked about my dogs, i have a bassett hound and a collie-alsation cross. we were looking to re-home one dog, found one advertised (the collie) on the internet so went to go and see her, and when we turned up she was snuggled up with the bassett! me being the big softy i am said we had to take both which dp often reminds me of if they are being naughty!

can anyone help me please? i am on cd 11 at the moment, period finished sun/mon, but today started bleeding again.... is this ok, should i just grin and bear it or is something wrong? it does feel like a normal af but i am sick of bleeding! any advice gratefully received before i succumb to google!

will be back later, off to do some tea and boring stuff like laundry!

anniebigpants · 24/07/2009 18:28

Gracie-its exciting looking at baby stuff! I havent been anywhere near a baby shop with this one, theres only really a little bit i need as have everything still almost as good as new from DS, i will be buying some bits over the next few weeks though, and debating wether to buy new pram or not.

MrsKate-Ooh now that sounds very promising. As Gracie says there is really no other reason that your hcg levels would be raised, than pregnancy. as your AF isnt due until Tue, its not suprising the urine test came back negative. As far as im aware the preg tests they use in the hospital arent that sensitive, my friend works in the pharmacy in our local hospital and she took 6 tests at work, all BFN, then got a Clearblue and it came up strongly positive.
I swear by Asda HPT,s only £4 for two and can use from 4 days before AF due (though ive only ever used them a day before AF due)

GracieGirl · 24/07/2009 18:13

Sounds good to me! I have to go out, I've just texted neeko and she'll be on here soon with her words of wisdom!

MrsKate · 24/07/2009 17:51

it was good things on the site i was looking at says that 0-5 3 weeks 5-85 week 4 when af due im not due till tues

GracieGirl · 24/07/2009 17:49

Stay away from google - it only makes things worse!!!!!

MrsKate · 24/07/2009 17:43

im going out my mind i keep looking at hcg levels on google ahhhhh

GracieGirl · 24/07/2009 17:39

MrsKate I was about to come round and boot your DH off facebook if you didn't get on here soon!
Try to stay calm, rest, drink plenty of fluids and do pregnancy tests morning and night till your appointment on monday. There's not really any other likely reason for your HCG levels to be raised apart from pregnancy. My fingers are crossed. I'll save you a bit of the paperclip drawer to tidy.

MrsKate · 24/07/2009 17:08

GracieGirl · 24/07/2009 16:57

Afternoon! Its a good thing we did the number swapping to update about scans, I've only just got home. Lovely news Annie!

My mum dragged my down to Mamas and Papas to look at baby stuff as I wouldn't let her until today, its all very bewildering! My baby is bigger than dates so they are now saying I'm exactly 12 weeks and due on 6th Feb, though its only 11 weeks and 4 days since my last period.

I called past work on way home as I didn't hear back about my job yesterday. Its official I'm not allowed to work in A&E as a nurse whilst pregnant until the flu pandemic is over so I've now got an office job! Quite exciting I've never worked 9-5 before and there's no nights or weekends!!! I can't get that Dolly Parton song "Workin 9 to 5" out of my head now!

Just had to go and buy some smart trousers as I don't have office wear in my wardrobe having always worn a uniform, that and nothing in my wardrobe fits me anymore!

MrsKate have you kicked that DH of yours off the computer yet so you can post on Mumsnet???

Neeko · 24/07/2009 16:28

annie Fab news about your very healthy baby boy. So relieved for you and it'll be quite nice that you'll get to see him again at the extra scan

Sabs Sorry you're still feeling rough but don't feel guilty about being off. Your body and baby needs the rest. It's nice to know that either way one of you will get the gender you want

4ever very proud of you for the retail therapy. Enjoy the footie.

Cupcake I'm thinking of an alternative name for you now!

Iggy Have a great weekend away. Hope the jury duty isn't anything traumatic

Blue Thanks for the reassurance. She's my best friend and it's been tough going through the whole pg with her when we should both have been doing it. The only thing that's made it bearable is the thought of her lovely lo at the end. I'm ok now and have managed to restrain myslf and only check on her once today! If nothing else MC makes you have empathy for others and that can only be a good thing.

Vjay when was Blue on the telly?

MLS Hi, lovely. Hope your hanging on in there and not teaching your DD anything naughty

Hi to all the other Emmsy's ladies

bluesatinsash · 24/07/2009 15:59

oh Annie that's fantastic news and another blue flavour for you , I have a lump in my throat . Your DS will be so proud to be the big brother and you won't be subjected to watching Hannah Montana !

Sabs - hope you're sleeping and not working

cupcakefairy · 24/07/2009 15:54

Aw annie it'll be so nice for your ds to have a brother though. Two boys/monkeys will be great fun

So you're having a surprise sabs, that's so exciting I wouldn't listen to people 'bump-predicting'! Literally everyone told my work friend she was having a girl from her bump shape (I even bought her pink booties as a joke cos everyone had said it) and she had a gorgeous little boy! sorry you're still feeling rough

anniebigpants · 24/07/2009 15:38

Thanks ginger. I dont mind you asking how old i am, im 39 years young

gingermumi · 24/07/2009 15:34

Excellent news annie! Btw, if you don't mind me asking, how old re you, i thought I was the only oldie here!

SabsBigPants · 24/07/2009 14:31

still feeling rough, so not really working apart from responding to emails. Not really able to eat either, but when I phoned the midwife helpline we have here, they said thats nothing to worry about in terms of the baby and that i have plenty of reserves for the baby to make use of. Temp has gone down which is the main thing, but when they say to me to rest, I feel guilty for doing so and think that I should be doing something other than sleeping!

But overjoyed at our 2 bits of good news!

Curlywurlee · 24/07/2009 14:30

Annie and gracie fantastic news I am so happy that you had good scans.
Got to work today and was called into meeting which has only just ended now....grrr Spent all my time wondering about your scans and listening to my stomach gurgling away

Really really delighted to hear such good news. Catch up with you properly later

anniebigpants · 24/07/2009 14:24

x posted with you Sabs, thanks for congrats.Hope you feeling a bit better today?

anniebigpants · 24/07/2009 14:22

Thanks cupcake, i was a teensy weensy bit hoping for a girl so would have one of each, but am more than happy to be having another boy,and consider myself very fortunate.

SabsBigPants · 24/07/2009 14:20

congrats annie soooo happy for you

We dont know what we're having cupcake, but whenever people see my bump they think im having a boy. I want a boy whereas DH wants a girl, as long as bubba is healthy thats all that matters...

anniebigpants · 24/07/2009 14:20

Glad scan went well for you too Gracie.

Hope you having good time at your fancy dress brunch Barbie MLS-Was going to text you but then realised i dont have yout mobile number!

4ever-Have fun at the footy.

Blue-LMAO at your message to Gracie-'pants on the left, pile cream under the shelf'

Waves to cupcake and Iggy, hope you lovely ladies both well today.

cupcakefairy · 24/07/2009 14:16

(and vjay obviously but we know all about Optimus )

cupcakefairy · 24/07/2009 14:15

Great news annie!!
Another boy!! This thread is full of little boys - aren't sabs and lionstar having boys too? Congratulations!!

anniebigpants · 24/07/2009 14:02

Hi ladies, im back home. I text Curly earlier, but she must be busy at work. Everything fine with scan, the CPC,s (cysts) seem to be gone, no other soft markers. I fo, however, have to go back for another scan, a consultant scan. sonographer said cos CPC,s were documented last visit and they are a soft marker, my age is also a soft marker, sp protocol dictates i need a consultant scan, she reassured me though everything is fine and dandy with babs
Plus i know the flavour...... we are having another BOY!!

Going for catch up, be back soon as havent had time to read up yet.
