oh gracie I'm so pleased for you

SabsBigPants · 11/07/2009 17:07

mmm...green and blacks

GracieGirl · 11/07/2009 17:01

Just woke up. I'm doing as I'm told and resting lots. I'm still stunned. Also trying not to notice the fact that I'm still bleeding a bit. I did just look at the photo and smile, looks like a dancing Bean. The bean was definately wondering what all the fuss was about.

Jools those symptoms sound very promising.

MLS I have Green & Blacks dark chocolate - yummy.

Sabs nothing wrong with a bit of retail therapy!

MummyLovesSadie · 11/07/2009 16:52

Gracie so happy & relieved for you. Make sure you take it easy, put your feet up & don't move except to move your hand to reach for the box of chocolates.

SabsBigPants · 11/07/2009 16:35

I also want to add how happy i am for gracie Thanks for the text as well to let me know how it went

How's everyone's saturday going? I ordered some baby clothes - unisex - off minimode. Went a bit crazy

Curlywurlee · 11/07/2009 16:09

I think you're right kate no girl would be so cheeky as to wave at mum after causing all that worry either

Jools this is sounding very promising. Don't want to mess with your head more but you shed hair much more at certain times of the year so maybe that's why you are not getting that symptom

When is everyone testing? I can't keep track of cycle lengths

gracie have you come down from cloud 9 yet?

MrsKate · 11/07/2009 13:42

hi all

i cant tell you how happy i am for gracie
i told her that this bean has to be a boy as no girl would be so naughty.

Joolsiam · 11/07/2009 13:05

Iggy - I'm with you on the symptom spotting. Low level nausea here too - goes away if I eat. Had to visit the loo between gym classes today - unheard of ! Lots of lotiony cm aswell, which is not usual for this part of my cycle. Slightly tender nipples, larger boobs, got quite teary this morning reading a description of the July 7th memorial and keep wondering if I can feel vague things happening in my abdomen. Also a bit windy A bit of insomnia, vivid dreams ...

The only usual symptom for me that I haven't imagined spotted is that my long hair still comes out in handfuls - last Sept, at 13DPO, I wasn't shedding any hair at all, which made me test

I think I am 5 or 6DPO today, so still really early for symptoms.

What a headf*ck ! I NEED to test early according to the mc clinic, so I have my First Response tests (BOGOF in Boots) and may well start testing from Wed

Joolsiam · 11/07/2009 12:26

Oh Gracie that has put a huge smile on my face So incredibly relieved for you, and it gives us all hope

Curlywurlee · 11/07/2009 12:22

I'm still grinning away gracie

So how are we doing on the BFP front? Who is near testing? Mermaid?

GracieGirl · 11/07/2009 12:18

I think my brain has stopped working. I couldn't believe it when I got there and they said the clinic was running late, I had to stop myself having a tantrum in the middle of the floor. It felt like I was there for hours. Weird places Gynae Assessment Units aren't they, no one makes eye contact with each other in the waiting room and everyone has the same expression on their face.

Anyway my Bean is fine, dancing around all over the place. They're not sure why I bled so I've got to rest. I'm so relieved and in shock, I was completely convinced it was all over for me this time. Thank you everyone for your support.

bluesatinsash · 11/07/2009 11:39

I've nearly fallen off my chair with relief .

Hurrah x 10000! oh Gracie - you must be beyond thrilled .

Curlywurlee · 11/07/2009 11:25

She had to wait for scan but everything is fine. Her lo even waved at her. they have no explanation for the bleeding but all is good

Curlywurlee · 11/07/2009 11:24

bluesatinsash · 11/07/2009 11:13

Got up at 10.37am this morning(DH gives me along lie at the weekend) and my first thought was "Gracie will be at her scan now".

Praying its all ok... I hate scan rooms with a passion, the silence, the darkness, the holding of breath...

Curlywurlee · 11/07/2009 09:30

Iggy sounds v hopeful

OP posts:
GracieGirl · 11/07/2009 09:29

Iggy I hope you get a BFP and a nice well behaved bean who doesn't send you insane!

Right I'm off. I'll update someone by text as soon as I've had my scan. Whoever is likely to be by the computer all morning can you text me so I know who to update. thanks.

Curlywurlee · 11/07/2009 09:27

They're rubbish Gracie. Mollie is right, we all naturally fear the worst just because of previous experience but sometimes things are fine despite all the worrying. Think back to your last one and how worrying it was beforehand. I guess none of us have the answer you so desperately need but just 50 mins to go honey. You squeeze as hard as you like on our hands till then xxxx

I have some emergency cadburys dairy milk. I'm sending it over in case mermaids biscuits are all eated

iggypiggy · 11/07/2009 09:24

I feel sick still... is kind of a constant underlying mild nausea. Also - up v. early for loo when had only been 5 hrs before that. Oh dear - am obsessively symptom spotting which be big crash if AF arrives this month

iggypiggy · 11/07/2009 09:22

gracie thinking of you this morning

GracieGirl · 11/07/2009 09:18

Thanks girls. Mermaid's chocolate biscuits were yummy.

56 mins to go now. I hate scans.

Curlywurlee · 11/07/2009 09:09

Gracie not long more to wait now. I can't stop thinking about you and wishing that all of us could be there to hold your hand today. Dont forget to drink loads with mermaids choccy biscuits and in the meantime here's the biggest hug and some of cupcakes hairstrokes xxxx

GG sending lots of sticky thoughts, really feeling your anxiety right now. xx

Molliemooma · 11/07/2009 09:05

Gracie I wish there was something I could say or do to make you feel better, but there just isn't, you are bound to expect the worst, we all do when this happens, but it doesn't always turn out that way, I am sending you lots of positive thoughts and hair strokes. x
