Just had a call from the EPU - at first I jumped out of my seat and thought they had info from today but no !

It was just to tell me that all the genetic testing came back with no reported issues - not sure whether I wanted them to find something that could be "fixed" or am relieved there are no issues

cupcakefairy · 15/07/2009 14:50

Ooh and have been meaning to say- where is our lovely Bakingqueen?? Are you still out there lurking? Should be about now you're getting internet in your house shouldn't it? Hope you'll come back and join us soon

cupcakefairy · 15/07/2009 14:45

Thanks girls but I honestly don't feel brave!Just v grateful for a wonderful hubby who is happy to support me til I figure out my life!
Iggy I feel for you, that is exactly how I felt about my job it's so annoying isn't it... just adds to the whole mc misery.

MLS big boo to your bfp so sorry. Do you have to go back to the hospital for a check up? Cos they made me go back 4 weeks after my medical management and I didn't do a test until then...which was negative thankfully!

mermaidspurse · 15/07/2009 14:40

jools stomp it burns calories, hope you feel ok after blood, venting at t mobile and shouting at poor Rick.
Am soooo impressed at only another 6 lbs that is ace.
It is all bloody exhausing this ttc malarky We have battle fatigue.

cupcake brave and super coool lady

4ever I am hopeful that work will give you a free golden ticket to coem on mn whenever you want Thinking of you heaps through the next few days honey.xxx

mls just go super gently on yourself, it is such a horrible thing to still see that and hurts like hell.x

ig sending you a watering can full of whatever you fancy, sorry about your bfn, maybe too early??

gracie hoping that your matron is lovely and in a good mood and lets you tidy the paperclip drawer for the next 7 months

Joolsiam · 15/07/2009 12:59

MLS - I still got a positive test on Christmas Eve, after starting to MC on Nov 11th - at the time I thought it might be a new pregnancy - life is cruel sometimes

very very grumpy today - am waiting to have a row with Tmobile because they've been overcharging me since I upgraded, went to the gym to work out my frustration, only to find my lunchtime spinning class had been cancelled, and have been trying hard to get hold of Rick Stein's restaurant in Padstow - I phoned yesterday and reserved a table for my 40th in Nov but they didn't email through confirmation. Now the number is unobtainable so I have emailed. they took my card details, which worried me, so I'm keeping a close eye on my bank too.

Sorry, just ranting Am in a stupendously foul mood today ..

Very brave to resign Cupcake I've walked out of a job before, to save my sanity, but a slightly different situation because I ended up taking them to tribunal but settling on the steps of the courthouse !

Thinking of you through my grumps 4Ever

MummyLovesSadie · 15/07/2009 12:53

Jools & Iggy, bums to your bfn's. You both still have time yet so don't write this month off. Bums also to my bfp today, my body appears to still think it is pregnant.

iggypiggy · 15/07/2009 10:49

cupcake you are v. brave to leave - well impressed. I am wanting to change work, but feeling like now is a bad time to change cos if I do get PG and don't have another MC - it would be bad to be in process of changing jobs.. then again - can't put life on hold etc etc...

cupcakefairy · 15/07/2009 10:39

Ooh and forgot to say jools that is sooo great about the weight! Keep it up girl!

cupcakefairy · 15/07/2009 10:38

Oh rubbish about the BFNs jools and iggy... that was me a week ago so I know how you feel! But as others have said...there is still some hope. Iggy if it was me I would test again 48 hours leter if af hasn't appeared but it's totally up to you! You know your body... (I didn't last week cos I was away but I would have used up all my babymad tests had I been at home!)

Gracie there is no plan, I don't even have a pla- (that was for the Friends fans among us ) which is why I am scared. Basically been unhappy in my job for a while and was all ready to leave (for good) once baby came...now feel I am just waiting to get pregnant again so I can leave which isn't good...for my stress levels/sanity/anything really! So just need to work out what the next stage of my life is now... (and secretly hope I get pregnant as soon as I leave...??)

Curly I'd love to hide in your kitchen! I have chocolate buttons we can decorate the cakes with hope you're feeling ok about Friday lovely xxx

4ever just want to say hi really brave lady

iggypiggy · 15/07/2009 10:25

4ever am thinking of you today my lovely xxx

Joolsiam · 15/07/2009 10:17

Iggy - sounds like we can both go out and drink loads / eat brie and pate for a little while longer

On the bright side (yes I've found one !), I am now only 6 lbs away from being officially overweight rather than obese - perhaps if I'm not PG this time round, I can lose those other 6 lb by the time I do conceive It means I'll be able to drink at the festival I'm going to over the first weekend in August and the timing will be good because I'll be away from DP for 4 days, then fertile when I get back and he is (hopefully) pleased to see me

Had a nightmare with the blood tests - 4 attempts in one arm when I told them nothing comes out of my right arm - they then tried my left and filled up 7 vials, then the flow almost stopped, so the last 2 vials were almost empty. The woman assured me there was enough, then called me back just as I was leaving and someone else redid those two, but insisted on trying my right arm first and ignoring me. I got very stroppy and stalked out, only to get mega dizzy outside and have to sit down on the floor VERY quickly ! It kinda ruined my stroppy exit I didn't bother going into the EPU - there didn't seem much point without a BFP..

4everhopeful · 15/07/2009 10:08

Oh pooh crap bum Jools & Iggy Really hoped you would set off a roll of BFPs...

Missed the group hug last night but as this is virtual land, Ill have mine now... Mmmmmm! Lurking in our works internet cafe so a quickie. Feeling ok, gonna get head down & get on with work, its always the build up to days like these thats worst. Shall soldier onwards & upwards.. Love hugs & waves to all xxxxx

iggypiggy · 15/07/2009 09:35

Morning all!

I'll start with the bad news... I gave in and tested this morning and BFN. Also Nausea gone and am not really feeling anything now - but not even AF... Anyway - on the up side - my cycle has been longer since the MC so I may have tested too early and last time when i had shorter cycles I didn't get a BFP until CD29 and that was so faint - then CD30 was better. Today is CD28...

slap me please!

So - maybe - just maybe I'll try on CD 30? Unless AF has come? What do you lot think? Or shall I try to wait a bit longer...

jools don't give up yet - is so early!

Mls and moon great big hugs for you lovely ladies

Catch up with you all later properly!

GracieGirl · 15/07/2009 08:55

Jools like Mermaid says, there's still hope its still very early. Hopefully you can convince them to do HCG levels with your bloods, though when will you get the results? If they'll make you wait weeks there's no point.

Curly only 2 more sleeps till your scan, though it must feel like months!

Cupcake so how are things with the job situation? whats the plan?

Big hug for MrsKate, MLS and Moon.

I have an appointment with the matron from work at 3pm to discuss the ideas for me going back to work, its obviously got to happen at some point soon, can't stay on a sick note forever (though it would be nice).

mermaidspurse · 15/07/2009 07:33

jools honey go gently on yourself - I admit to waking up at 6 and the first thing I thought of was jools will be testing! Hope the bloods go ok.
If it makes you feel a bit better I still feel sick and giddy reckon we have had a wierd lingering bug thing.
But there is still hope of course it is early.xx

Joolsiam · 15/07/2009 07:16

Well, I laid awake with a full bladder from 5am, as I'd forgotten to locate and unwrap a test ready for action and didn't want to wake up DP !

BFN - not even the ghost of a line I'm still feeling nauseous and my abdomen feels tender though. It is only 9DPO, so I will test again. However, I really thought something might show up now as the symptoms are so strong.

Maybe it is just a bug.

At least I'm coming down to earth and will be less disappointed if / when AF arrives.

Off to get my bloods done in a few minutes - will pop in later ...

Curlywurlee · 14/07/2009 23:15

cupcake you can come hide in my kitchen for a few weeks if you like - so long as you bake lots of cakes for everyone

Curlywurlee · 14/07/2009 23:13

Hello all. Just a quick one as I am missing you all but I feel I need to stick my head in the sand this week till my scan is done on Friday.

Thinking of you tomorrow 4ever, your 3rd MC breaks my heart, as all our MCs do, but it just seemed so particularly cruel. Hopefully there will be good news for you this month lovely lady

Very hopeful for Jools and iggy Good luck with testing girls!!!

Moon and Mls brave ladies, and also everyone else who is down at the moment, I promise there are happier times ahead. Just hang in there xxx Moon have you and dp decided when it would be good to ttc again?

Thinking of you too Kate and hope things are good with you and DH.

Lots of love to everyone else. Sorry for not posting to everyone personally. I am thinking of you all xxxx

Oh Mrskate Keep the faith - we have our ups and downs but things DO get better slowly

You have a lot to deal with at the moment and you've been so strong lately, with so much to plan ,look forward to and organise. You are now crashing, and man flu + swine flu must be a pretty draining combination

Big hugs, choc and wine x x x This will pass

MrsKate · 14/07/2009 22:23

ahh test jools

will anything go right for me ay mo i feel so unhappy

Joolsiam · 14/07/2009 22:10

Scared now, doubting myself. Might wimp out of testing

Can't face a BFN, scared of a BFP

GracieGirl · 14/07/2009 21:24

Another group hug I think! Doing hpts after miscarriages to wait for a negative is so s**t!

MummyLovesSadie · 14/07/2009 21:06

Moon not doing too bad thanks, now all I can think about is am I going to ov before the bleeding has completely stopped? I need to do another hpt tomorrow to see if I get a bfn before I ttc. It's all such a bloody headfk. GG how about 'Good luck & don't forget to breathe'?

SabsBigPants · 14/07/2009 21:01

sabs quickly runs in to join the group hug
