mls timing huh! i had medical management though not an erpc, but i did have weird pains for a while after, and my stomach hurt if i pressed on it or sat down and got up a bit quickly. its fine now though it seems to have rectified itself, but a few days before af cam it felt a bit sore again. i think its normal after your insides have been through such a trauma. i really wouldnt worry, you have been through a lot and it is still early days healing wise xx

MummyLovesSadie · 16/07/2009 21:04

Hmmmm I don't think so, I usually get ov pains but they are in one side. I think I should drink more wine & try not to think about it too much.

Joolsiam · 16/07/2009 21:00

Ovulation maybe ? that for me is a dull pain, and the first OV after last year's MC was agony.

MummyLovesSadie · 16/07/2009 20:57

It's like a weird dull throbbing right above my pubic bone that feels a lot more of a sharp pain if I press it. I know I should just stop pressing it.

I'm off to my gp anyway in the morning for the lowdown on my dodgy chest x-ray.

Joolsiam · 16/07/2009 20:48

MLS - is it more of a muscular pain ? I had lots of aches and soreness - some probably the after effects of "contractions" and others the result of all my bits moving back into their original positions - could be just that ?

MummyLovesSadie · 16/07/2009 20:45

We posted at exactly the same time.

MummyLovesSadie · 16/07/2009 20:44

OMG fate!

MummyLovesSadie · 16/07/2009 20:44

Moon are you there? What happened with the pain you had after your erpc? I'm getting a horrible dull ache that is in my uterus region but feels nothing like af pain. It really hurts when I press my tummy.

BlueMoon1981 · 16/07/2009 20:43

not stopping, just a fleeting message to say good luck to curly and her bean for tomorrow. hope you are lurking so you can absorb all the sticky thoughts....

hello to all the lovely ladies xxx

MummyLovesSadie · 16/07/2009 20:12

Bakingqueen! Welcome back. Sorry for for all the problems you've been having but hey, clomid is good! Clomid means....... MULTIPLE BIRTHS - yay! It's what the Chinese buy in the back streets to overcome the one child per family rule. Do you think you can stockpile some & send it out to us Emmy's ladies?

bakingqueen · 16/07/2009 19:04

Hello miss you all sorry went awol stupid computer broke and stupid blackberry decided it would not let me read mumsnet!!!Backon line see I need to catch up will read the thread properly tonight! On day whatever cant remember no +opk for me this month and have religiously checked every day since day 10 getting a bit frustrating that now if I get a smily face it would be like winning the lottery! Went to sub fertlity clinic last week- was under them just before mc. Told me 3 years and 1 pregnancy was sub optimal so from next month am on clomid for 4 months will review that after that may get another few months if not will be put on waiting list for IVF- not really what I want and not sure if dh will be up for that . Just want a normal pregnancy without any intervention . Anyway so glad to be back with you all can't believe how much I have missed you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

hopingalways · 16/07/2009 17:21

502 posts already!

Think our next thread should be called "the sticky bean greenhouse"

think I've blown my cover at work...in the middle of one of the wedding chats (thank god that's the current thing in our team!) someone started going on about how we needed babies next to talk about, casually mentioned someone else I know is pg (first I'd heard) and then I got teased as the newlywed about when the lo would be due.

fixed grin beat the tears. just.

4everhopeful · 16/07/2009 16:57

MLS echo Vjay that its prob worse thinking about it, found that with my mate with close edd..

mls I hope you have a nice time with your friends, it's the thought of it that seems worse sometimes, once you're with them I bet it will be ok

Just been to mothercare and got 24 terry nappies , got them out and I have no idea how to fold them, so am about to google it...thank god for google

mermaidspurse · 16/07/2009 14:35

cupcakefairy · 16/07/2009 14:30

Oh MLS that will be hard, hugs to you, hope they are sensitive.

Hi blue I'm ok thanks..all feels a bit surreal as my manager is actually on holiday this week so once I've told her on Monday I will begin cr*pping myself... so far my family have all told me I'm making the right decision and am brave I don't know if I was hoping they'd talk me out of it or support me to be honest! Can't believe your 20 week scan is coming up soon, that's brilliant

I'm worried about annie too hope she is ok.

mermaidspurse · 16/07/2009 14:30

mls oh honey thinking of you, you will probably all sit and howl together.xxxxx

mermaidspurse · 16/07/2009 14:27

blue hello rolly polly lady When is your 20 week scan so I can put it on my big white board? So glad that the sickness is less though, reckon you puked for Scotland. So macaroni pie is Scotish then? macaroni and pastry?

curly I am revving up to crossing myself up into knots for you tomorrow. Hope you too are ok and not being too ms.

kate that is an interesting thought, I wonder if your body would do that if you worked nights for a long time.

cheered up a bit after started making rhubarb, blackcurrant and apricot crumble I'm thinking clotted cream although its horrible enough weather to go back to custard. It has gone the most lovely ribenna colour yum.
Everyone slosh into the shops on the way home for rose and something sparkly to wear to all cheer ourselves up if we need it and to spoil ourselves just because

bluesatinsash · 16/07/2009 14:23

Deep breath MLS - you can do it. Don't feel you have to be all stiff upper lip with them though OK?

MummyLovesSadie · 16/07/2009 14:13

Blue not too bad today thanks. Just about to go & spend the afternoon with the two friends I was ttc with last year, one of them has a two week old dd & the other is going to give birth in 10 weeks [happy]

MrsKate · 16/07/2009 14:09

yeah i agree cupcake a bfp would be great.

i give up with my body no ov line today so maybe i ov when on nights
the mind boggles

bluesatinsash · 16/07/2009 13:41

Afternoon All,

4ever - really hoping your BPN is purely down to testing too early... Also really hope your treatement covers you for life as having a deadline is so not good for your sub-concious when you're trying to relax. My GP who did my acupuncture back in March/April really laid it on thick to me re: relaxing and how important it was for successful implantation etc. etc. Easier said than done when all you want is a BFP. Its also probably why teenagers fall pg at the mere whiff of the oppostie sex as its the last thing on their minds.

Neeko - yay! for your big boobs, really feeling it for you this month...

Iggy and Jools fingers crossed for you two too..

Vjay - ah macaroni pie - I used to sell them when I worked in the bakers on a Saturday. Fine scottish artery hardening fettle - enjoy! I'm fine thanks for asking, can't see my fango anymore and anxious about impending 20-week scan but other than that sickness has subsided and my new double sided sleep pillow is the business at night for bump. Well done you for going terry nappy this time. I will still be disposble but will be offsetting my carbon footprint with breastfeeding .

MLS - how are you today?

Annie - if you're lurking, I've been thinking about you lots and hoping you're OK. Tried to message you on FB but your profile is inactive at the mo'. Really hope your second scan gives you more conclusive answers of the absolutely fine kind.

Gracie - you'll be trundling up to Edinburgh by now, enjoy DD, I saw them in 04 and my friend nearly peed herself when John Taylor looked our way .

mrskate - lovely to hear your DH bantering and offering to wear a mask - hey needs must!

cupcake - how are you feeling today re: new job etc.?

mermaid - so you have a greenhouse, I can picture the peaty earthy smell from here (with a whiff of wine) . My late beloved Grandpa had one and grew amazing tomatoes.

hoping - how are the hats coming on talented lady?

iggypiggy · 16/07/2009 13:29

mermaid you just started my sobfest again good job am in office of my own! You are so lovely.

mls yes - you are right

Yay for neeko's boobs

have to agree with 4ever am so glad I found you all - I don't talk to anyone else about this - have not told friends and my family don't mention it - so is so nice to have you all xxx

cupcakefairy · 16/07/2009 13:01

Ooh iggy and jools you should test together at the weekend if no signs of af

cupcakefairy · 16/07/2009 13:00

Yay for Neeko's massive boobs! We need a BFP to lift our spirits.

I could really eat a macaroni cheese pie right now...
