Here's a shiny new thread named especially for 4ever, let this be the one where we get lots and lots of new BFPs and everyone's pants get bigger

Ever onwards and upwards for all of you lovely ladies

MLS Sporticus?? Really?? please tell me you've been on the vodka!

Neeko · 20/07/2009 21:16

Curly You do remember that I had 32B boobs before I fell pg with DD and I refused to buy bigger bras when I got to 36F?! They're NOT getting any smaller anytime soon

Curlywurlee · 20/07/2009 21:10

Thanks MLS and ginger too

Curlywurlee · 20/07/2009 21:09

Thanks blue that's a lovely image for me to take with me tomorrow.

neeko the boobs seem to go through growth spurts, it will calm down a bit

I've stopped myself texting 4ever to give her some space, especially as I know evenings are for her and DH. If you are lurking though honey, I'm sending you a massive hug. Stay away as long as you need to, we all need some breathing space sometimes, but we'll be thinking of you all the while and missing our lovely 4ever xxx

Hp all goes well tomorrow curly.

Sabs i have just bought a new buggy for ds, we wanted a stroller but he's so big they're not much use, we went for a three wheeler in the end from baby jogger (we have the city mini but there are others). It's fab, light, easy to push and folds with one hand (apparently its the one that was on the apprentice, I don't watch it but my mum said it is!). Would recommend it. It also takes a car seat too (not sure which one though and you need to buy and adaptor bracket).

Cup cake, what kind of writing do you do? Good luck sounds wonderful

MummyLovesSadie · 20/07/2009 21:07

Oh we've not discovered Wonderpets yet. We are still into Balamory (what's the fecking story) & Lazy Town (Sporticus - hubba hubba)!

Neeko · 20/07/2009 21:00

MLS Peppa pig is something else our DD's have in common. Think we have all the DVDs although we're having a huge Wonderpets phase just now. Their stupid singing gets in your head and won't leave!

Neeko · 20/07/2009 20:57

Curly My boobs feel so big that the brackets just don't cut it anymore! First thing DH said when he came home tonight was:"Wow! Great cleavage!" Bloody sore though.
I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. you have had such strong symptoms that I'm sure it will all be fine. Hopefully you'll be ready to move into big pants soon.

Hope I'm not stepping on 4ever's toes but she texted me congrats today and said she's "taking a weeny step back for a couple of days". She knows where we all are when she's ready. Meltdowns are rubbish

MummyLovesSadie · 20/07/2009 20:56

Blue most impressed at your recognition of the not-quite Peppa Pig impression!

Curly squeezing your hand for tomorrow.

Sabs I have a Buzz & hate it with a passion (heavy, not roomy enough for dd, many many flat tyres) but one of my friends has the same one & loves it. I also have the Zapp for holidays & it's fab.

bluesatinsash · 20/07/2009 20:47

x-post Curlymegaposter! Didn't realise your scan was tomorrow - big hugs and will be thinking about you clutching your little photo and smiling .

Right going now, no I definately am..

Curlywurlee · 20/07/2009 20:43

Neeko I am so happy for you. Don't worry we'll hold your hand through the next few weeks and get you through it. this is the most wonderful news Impressed with reports of boobage also. Are we talking (.)(.) or ( . )( . )? I am HUUUGE

Jools I am still rooting for you... my throat is hoarse from singing my stay away evil witch song. AF is late now right so there is hope especially if you have just implanted. I am praying that we both get good news tomorrow. I have my scan booked for 10:30 and have to confess that rather than catch up on MN, I've been trying to google the odds of another MMC after seeing a heartbeat... somebody stop me As for girl on the other forum, I think we can all envy her confidence. My sister has just told me she is 9 weeks pregnant which is fantastic news but I'm so jealous of how relaxed she is, the benefit of not having a MC before

MLS fantastic tattoo... wow, you are brave. I love that the reminder of your lost angels will always be there with you Your DD is fantastic, muddy cuddles I love it

kate you are a lovely wife, DH is very lucky to have you honey I'm glad he is doing better and you can get back to the important business of more bd'ing

vjay lovely lady have you packed your bag yet????

welcome back annie we missed you but I'm loving the tan. Did you eated any minimilks on your hols?

iggy I'm so sorry about AF arriving, stupid cow We need a cunning plan for you and cupcake - let's put all our whitecoats on the case... I'm not an expert but how about the Deanna plan? Start BD at day 8 (get rid of those stale swimmers!), then 10, then every two days till strong line on opk. Then every day for next three days, then two days later.. phew knackered just thinking about it. OPKs from day 10 I think unless you have a really short cycle normally.

cupcakethechilled Sounds like you are doing the right thing honey, this is so exciting. What are you planning to write?

Moon how are you doing honey. I'm still loving your reason for why my scan didn't happen on Friday. I was thinking back to how I was in December, a couple of months after my MC and I was still a mess really. I'm sending you a massive hug and some fab cornish cream icecream in case you need it today. How is your Mum? Did you have a lovely time?

buddha 19 weeks wow Is your scan 4th August or am I getting you confuzzled with someone else?

blue thanks for the prayers. I'm not religious but it means a lot that you would pray for us

where is 4ever she wasn't here on Friday either. I'm worried about her. Hope you are okay honey xxx

Barbie scan is tomorrow morning. I'm nervous but I'm glad I'm having it. If your doctor is offering a scan I think you should go for it, though having said that I felt differnt last friday when they bloody cancelled it

mermaid how are you lovely? lol at DH (a mere man) thinking he knows what MS is like. Send him up to my gaff to see some real puking in action

gracie that's great news, I wish I worked in the health service. That will be good news for mrs kate too very soon

hoping it is lovely to hear you sound so chilled. You are so so sweet to be knitting hats

sabs It's so great that you and the other bigpanters will have prams and everything sussed out by the time we catch up

MM welcome back, are you really still puking? Oh no!!! I am counting on mine disappearing at 12 weeks!

waves to ginger sophable and anyone I've missed xxx

bluesatinsash · 20/07/2009 20:42

MLS - lol at your DD and her 'Peppa Pig' not quite reference - too cute for words

Neeko - you add so much energy to this thread, its grrreat!

Sabs - its Quinny central where I live and friends who have them love them. The car seat is the best in the biz too. As you say they face forward and rear which you want when lo is wee. Oooh my pram lusting is rearing its head again.... I'm going to see HP next week with DH!

Vjay - oooh re: choosing your name... I'm intrigued...

BIG WAVES to MM - Hi my lovely, sorry to hear you're still being sick, I hope its at least easing off now... I've not been sick for 8 whole days but only because I know to eat small and often.

curly - not long now....

Sophable - this must so be torture for you, praying you had a late OV and will get a BFP. Is AF normally bang on when she's due?

cupcake - I can so see you being a writer, your prose flows on here . Go for it girl!

Logging off now, night all x

Neeko · 20/07/2009 20:27

Hi (Again - can't stay away today cos you all know and no one other than DH in RL does )

MLS Love the idea of a muddy cuddle although it sounds vaguely rude!

MM nice to see you. We really should do a meet up. It'd be nice to put proper voices and faces to the names. Since neither of us have posted a pic we'd have to wear an Emmsy's sticker or something

Curly Thanks for the extra long yay. Seems you were right! How's things with you?

Moon Glad you liked my update. I was too nervous to type the words. Hope you're well today.

Vjay Just pack the bloody bag How are we going to have an Emmsy's hospital bag list if you don't write it? I'm fewer weeks pg than you have left to go

gingermumi Nice to see you back. hope all your marking's done and this is your month.

Sophable hand in there - though I even feel like you've been on the 2ww forever

How's everyone feeling tonight?

MummyLovesSadie · 20/07/2009 20:14

Just a quickie for now to make you all laugh, my dd was jumping up & down in the kitchen this morning & when I asked her what she was doing she said "Jumping in muddy cuddles"!!

Heathcliffscathy · 20/07/2009 19:56

neeko!!!! fantastic!

jools come back to my thread i need you...

still no AF here. 2 days late now. BFN this morning. but as someone suggested on the other thread, if i ovulated late CD17 then i wouldn't be due for another 2 or 3 days...it is absolutely torture waiting...

BlueMoon1981 · 20/07/2009 19:19

neeko i am soooo happy

i liked your medium pants update, it took me a few seconds before i realised, as i was busy looking to see what cycle day you were and i couldnt find you!

Curlywurlee · 20/07/2009 19:05

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Neeko I just saw your wonderful news!!! I've been saving up that extra long YAY for ages for you

Hopefully this is the start of a bfp run! I'm off to catch up on the rest of the news

OP posts:
mm1509 · 20/07/2009 17:41

Hi ladies,

Been away way to long, need to have a good read to catch up with all the news.

Just had to say a big congrats to neeko fantastic news and look forward to a meet up with blue in Glasgow, oh I just love it when we have another BFP. gracie glad to hear of your time off work, enjoy some time for yourself put those feet up.

buddha love the new name, had a double take when I seen it, could be the perfect name for me atm.

barbie lovely to see you back, glad you had a good trip home.

curly sorry about the carry on with your scan, how are you getting on with the ms. Still puking away here I'm afraid I hoped it would have passed by now, no such luck.

Not much to report here, being kept busy with DD now the school holidays are upon us, loving being off with her though, it's the first time I have been off right through with her. Got another scan booked on 11th Aug, apparently they want to check my cervic. No 20 week scan here though so hope they will have a look at the baby too while they are there.

Sorry I don't have time to post to everyone in person but big waves to jools, MLS, sabs, 4ever, mermaid, kate, cupcake, iggy, vjay, annie, hoping, sophable, moon, baking and anyone I've missed. Won't stay away too long this time.

VJaybigpants · 20/07/2009 17:38

Hiya, and a huge congrats to neeko that is fab news

mls I love your tattoo, I got a ring to remember my lost angels, and dh recently got a tat done, its a cross surrounded with tribal swirls, then ds's name underneath, and he'll get babas name put on it as and when.

buddha 19 weeks, where has the time gone , love the name too

barbie I remember having heart palpatations early on, the doc says it's nothing to worry about.

hoping I think sabs wants that first hat, but I'll definatly have a bigger one to cope with the Highland winter

sabs no the bag is not done yet, I've now added some knickers to it, so that's slippers and knickers . I love Harry Potter too, dh and ds went to see Transformers on saturday, for the 2nd time (ds is a huge fan), so I went to see Harry Potter on my own, I felt very brave and thoroughly enjoyed it

Well coming up to the last 5 weeks, still haven't started the raspberry leaf tea which I was going to start last week. I'm normally super organised I don't know what's happening to me. Dh and ds have decided on a name now, which I like but it's not my first choice!
Waves to everyone

iggypiggy · 20/07/2009 17:30

yes - where is 4ever ? Def miss her already...

neeko try to have more than one excited day! I'm excited for you!

waves to gingermumi

gingermumi · 20/07/2009 17:18

Heya ladies sorry I have been away so long, i see we have another BFP (neeko- congrats). Could we have an updated list so I can catch up a bit? Been busy with end of term but hopefully should be able to post more pften now. cycle before last ended up 9 days late, was totally weird didn't know what the hell my body was doing! last month was a day early? Am now. Am now cd 19 (and have jst come back from a few days in devon so who knows ). Big waves to all

Neeko · 20/07/2009 17:11

Hi ladies. Just popping in while the tea is cooking. Thanks for all your lovely messages. They mean so much and have made me quite misty eyed (hormones?) Cupcake is right it's nice to have one excited day before I ignore it for months weeks.

Cupcake Can't wait to read your first bestseller. make sure it has a cupcake on the cover

Sabs Buy the one you fancy - you're the one who'll be pushing it and you can always invest in a cheap bus-friendly buggy when your lo is older.

4ever If you're lurking. Don't stay away too long. We miss you already. Take care.

Have to go now, apparently food that's cooking burns if you don't keep an eye on it. Damned inconvenient!

SabsBigPants · 20/07/2009 16:57

iggy glad to hear im not the only one

iggypiggy · 20/07/2009 16:54

iggy sorry to hear TEW got you

annie good to hear you had a brilliant holiday

vjay bag packed yet??

Had the day off today so took my brother and cousins to watch harry potter...i'm a mad harry potter fan. Went to the 3d imax show so the first 20 minutes were in 3d...Absolutely amazing! I must sounds really sad lol but I love HP! Yesterday went ikea to look for some furniture for the house but couldnt find anything. Also went to mothercare and saw a quinny for sale...This pushchair buying is driving me mad, im even thinking about pushchairs in my sleep! I really want a quinny buzz but all the reviews say its quite heavy, not good storage-wise and difficult on buses, but it looks so nice AND faces forward and backwards, which is what i want and in my price range as its on sale.

sabs waves to vjay mls blue moon jools mrskate curly sophable bakingqueen and anyone else ive missed
