Here's a shiny new thread named especially for 4ever, let this be the one where we get lots and lots of new BFPs and everyone's pants get bigger

Ever onwards and upwards for all of you lovely ladies

OP posts:
MummyLovesSadie · 21/07/2009 15:44

I wore wired bra's throughout my pregnancy & consequently had massive problems breastfeeding. Dd was hungry, skinny & constantly crying for the first four weeks of her life because I wasn't producing enough milk, once I supplemented breastmilk with formula she was a changed baby. Will definitely be wearing non-wired next time.

barbie1 · 21/07/2009 15:41

gg not if when!!!!!! neeko you see thats why i need you girls so much, i had no idea about the damage a bra could do!!!

GracieGirl · 21/07/2009 15:32

Not needed to change bra yet so not really thought about it. Though I imagine I will swap to non wired if/when I make it to a very pregnant stage.

Neeko · 21/07/2009 15:28

Apparently wired bras can really damage the breast tissue and impair milk production. Also impossible to find a wired nursing bra.

barbie1 · 21/07/2009 15:25

hotmilk

barbie1 · 21/07/2009 15:21

urggghhhh non wired...never!
Although i did have some a few years back from miss selfridge and assessorize..i read on another thread that the website hotmilk is meant to do really pretty but practical bras

Neeko · 21/07/2009 15:09

Since the boob debate is still going on, how many of you pg ladies have swapped over to non-wired bras? I wore them with DD and bought a couple before MC (now too small - grr!) but find them unflattering and tent-like. can anyone recommend good ones. Don't feel like it's jinking things to buy new ones because one day I'll be pg for the full nine months. Of course I hope it's this time.

barbie1 · 21/07/2009 14:56

32dd but spilling out of my bra's now...
Dh is besotted with them...even going as far as forgetting we are in public and insisting he touches the jubs as he has now named them

Poor man just can help himself

Not going to buy bigger size until i get to at least 12 weeks, same goes for new work clothes etc etc...i will not jinx things this time!

gg how many weeks and days are you on frid?

GracieGirl · 21/07/2009 14:47

Mrs 34A over here is still jealous!

MrsKate · 21/07/2009 14:42

yeah curly great news im so happy for you .

blue well im a 38dd before im pg so god knows what stupid size il be when i am . dh is def a boob man lol

anniebigpants · 21/07/2009 14:40

Im afraid its 'look but dont dare touch' for my DH as they are still so tender. I hate having big boobs, they were a 'mare when i was breastfeeding DS, especially the early days, they were nearly covering his whole face, poor babe couldnt breathe, they went up to an H cup when my milk came in, they certainly didnt look attractive!

bluesatinsash · 21/07/2009 14:33

38F Your DH must LOVE you!!!

My DH must be a 'face' or 'fabulous personality' man as I have tiny boobs and chunky legs so neither of them hooked him in .

anniebigpants · 21/07/2009 14:28

Hi Blue, ive got plenty of boobage to go round, i could share it out? Im straining out of 38F now, time to get remeasured me thinks. DS keeps saying he loves my 'fat boobies', oh dear!

bluesatinsash · 21/07/2009 14:21

would not could all be OK

bluesatinsash · 21/07/2009 14:20

...just back from soft play hell but its tired DS out so he's zonked and I'm munching maltesers in front of 'puter

Fantabulous news Curly - knew it could all be OK, but so reassuring to see them dancing about . I do think lots of dancing = horrendous ms (random theory # 432)

MLS - sooo true re: picuter perfect families!! I laugh too at baby catalogues showing happy contended baby on play mat/rocking chair/fancy contraption where in real life they're in it for oooh, approx. 3 minutes before getting bored and being surgically attached to your hip .

Jools - so sorry TEW turned up and Soph - crap about your temp drop...

Moon - I would agree with others re: counselling and thinking about ttc as a way of moving forward. I was adament I was taking 6-months off after last mc but that 'plan' lasted for two-weeks as what the hell was I going to do for 6-months other than obsess about lost lo's and panic about ttc? I wanted another baby, my body had recovered, why wait? As MLS says, it gives you something to focus on with an amazing end result .

I'm v. at all your big boobs! I'm only now just creeping into a 34C, boobs are same size but nipples are expanding - sooo sexy - not!

Barbie - lol at you sniffing your hair!! I used to sniff my shower gel as it was the only thing in my house that didn't make me want to throw up!

Annie - lovely to have you back and glad you had a relaxing hol in Majorca .

Neeko - still on cloud 9?

Was going to spend afternoon in the garden but its pissing with rain now - hurrumph.

Later x

barbie1 · 21/07/2009 14:15

wow curly thats great news...how far on are you now....i just cant seem to pluck up the courage to book my next scan

Just in from work, i will shower, eat and catch up with you all later x

Neeko · 21/07/2009 13:22

iggypiggy · 21/07/2009 11:25

4ever-Big hugs to you. Had a little cry reading your posts, i so wish i could wave a magic wand and make everything better for you.

Barbie-Glad you had good holiday, and symptoms still good and strong.

VJay-Only 5 weeks to go!Have you started the Raspberry Leaf Tea yet, its foul! I tried that last time then switched to the tablets-much better!

Hoping-Really hope you and Cupcake get your BFP together next month.
You really made me laugh at your comment re the cat, its face saying bring on the formula and bottles.

Buddah-Hope you keeping well. Its lovely when you feel the flutterings isnt it? Im feeling more definate movements now.

MLS-I love your tattoo-so poignant.

Iggy-Sorry AF got you, fingers and everything crossed for next month. Sending huge hugs your way.
Re-OPKS-My DH was reluctant for any 'intervention' as he put it, but i ordered and used opk,s without him knowing, so i knew when i was OV, he just thought i was being amorous

ginger-Waves-hope you keeping okay?

mm-Hows bump coming along?

mermaid-Love the sound of your green house. Think i need to come along for a sit in your massage chair, to eat chocolate and drink wine(non alcoholic for me).

Curly-Grr at bloody hospital for messing you around with scans.
Hope sca today goes really well.

Hellos to SophableBakingQueen and anyone else still lurking.
