Poor MrsKate! You get yourself tucked up in bed and get some rest.

MrsKate · 25/07/2009 22:16

me too gracie ive had to leave dh at pub at got really bad cramps and back ache .

GracieGirl · 25/07/2009 21:27

No not bought anything yet, far far too scary!! Though DH was looking at the Which Best Buy list of Baby car seats at his parents house today.
Yes DH came with me to the scan.
I'm getting really impatient to know about MrsKate's Hcg levels.

cupcakefairy · 25/07/2009 21:12

Hi gracie so have you bought anything for little bean yet or is that just too scary? And how is your dh doing? Was he with you at the scan?

GracieGirl · 25/07/2009 21:05

I'm here!

cupcakefairy · 25/07/2009 20:56

Oh yay Moon that's so exciting, and you sound much chirpier really pleased you feel better.
Also yay to new glasses! I signed up to contacts last summer as I hated my glasses, then got new lovely designer frames in Nov and never want to wear my lenses now! So they are piling up in the bathroom, dh finally convinced me to cancel the payment plan last week so enjoy, new glasses are definitely a good treat!

I am meant to be updating my CV but oh MN is just so much more fun...even if nobody is about tonight

GracieGirl · 25/07/2009 20:21

Moon I'm really pleased you've had a good chat with DP and are TTC again.

MrsKate I'm not sick of hearing about your hcg levels! I'm excited!

BlueMoon1981 · 25/07/2009 19:39

agreed even

BlueMoon1981 · 25/07/2009 19:38

curly i watched denzel on jonathan ross too, i've always liked his films and he was lovely being interviewed wasn't he?!

good news, i am no longer bleeding, just one random day of brown blood and more good news, dp and i have agredd to ttc again after my next af its been an emotional afternoon and dp and i had a good chat after some almost bd-ing in the shower and i got upset when he said we couldn't try yet after me trying to persuade him. feel loads better now i have something to aim for.

how is everyone? i have been cutting the grass and walking the dogs this afternoon, and chose some new glasses this morning, decided to treat myself. usually wear contact lenses but hardly ever my glasses cuz i don't like them very much, so now i might enjoy wearing my new ones!

kate keeping everything crossed

cupcakefairy · 25/07/2009 19:02

I know, as we've all agreed the waiting is just the worst part of all this...it just goes on and on! Hang in there What are you up to tonight? Watch a movie or something to take your mind off it.
I am only just about to start the 2ww and I can already feel myself going crazy!

MrsKate · 25/07/2009 18:57

cupcakefairy · 25/07/2009 18:53

Morning (just)

barbie - please try and not fret too much, as Gracie says discharge comes in all shades. Remember it was only three days ago when you had to sniff your hair to stop yourself from throwing up! Your boobs might also just be adjusting to the new hormones... Really hope the next two days go quickly x

Gracie - so know how you feel about joining 'big panters' - echo Vjay's words about mini milestones. I'm counting days 'til 20-week scan (10!). Some days I'm positive and look at bump and think 'we're OK' then I chastise myself for being so optimistic and remind myself it can still all go wrong. Its such a bloody rollercoaster but that's life post-mc. I have a Mamas and Papas pram - the Ultimo and will be using it again although going to treat myself to new wheels.

MLS - totally understand where you're at my lovely. Don't stay away too long and I'll be stalking checking up on you on FB.

Neeko - at going out for dinner last night! Yes I was on 'Reporting Scotland' when they came to Falkirk last November doing a vox pox on the financial crisis. I did tape it but deleted it as was pg with 2nd lost angel and don't like to be reminded of that time. Fame and glory did not come a-knocking!

curly - I always have s secret stash of food on me at all times. I remember being on an atendance management training course and getting stared as I brought out roll after roll it was either that or me throwing up/sliding under desk with hunger .

Moon - hope you're bleeding has subsided. I have read that natural and medical management of mc can result in an irratic cycle for a wee while, really hope yours settles soon. Are you doing OPKs this month?

to everyone else, off to Kirkcaldy today for 1st b'day party then staying at in-laws tonight as DH is away on stag do and I get a lie in tomorrow if I stay there [cunning fox emotion].

p.s. - fingers crossed MrsKate

VJaybigpants · 25/07/2009 11:10
