ttc AGAIN after 2 miscarriages, anyone else in same boat?

Heya, I am a new member to mumsnet, but just thought I'd come on here to speak to others, swap tips, and for some general moral support!! I have had two missed miscarriages, and will be trying again in july, once everything is ok. I would love to hear from others, and have some other people to talk to this time around!! xx

Hi rach. I am currently ttc after 3mc

2nd month of trying after mmc beginning of march (d&c in april)
Taken a while for my body to get back to normal after this mc so not holding out much hope for the next few months, but I am determined to take it easy and just relax as much as possible.

Do you have any dc?

no prob just the way it goes, took me a year to concieve my son, who was my first, but fell pregnant when he was 4 months old with my DD! we only had sex once i think as well.

this time took a few months the first time, MC, got pregnant right away, MC, got pregnant right away and things are fine (touch wood)

the only downside to it is that its been dragging on and on, and i feel like ive been pregnant for over a year now and just cant wait to hold my baby!

lol, I didnt wait either, i concieved within a month the first time, and 4 months the second time, and I thought that maybe I was gettig worse, lol x

easier i conceived straight away, i dont do the "recommended wait" which is like 3 months isnt it?
so i didnt have a period between MC and this pregnancy.

tell you what tho the first 12 weeks are bloody hard, you will need support there are lots of support threads on here, the knicker checkers are brilliant when u concieve again x

thanks...did you find it quicker or longer to concieve after your mc? I would have been due in may this year, or dec this year, but was not to be. Congrats tho THENATTY hopefully ill be like you, 3rd time lucky

lol, aww I would join you there, but Im not over 30 I didnt wana go and invade anyones threads either...so which ones are good?

You're welcome to join us in the gin palace if you are a crusty old gimmer like us (i.e. over 30), otherwise there are quite a few threads dealing with ttc after miscarriage where you will find a warm/chilled welcome and all the advice and moral support you need.

(you won't find that in the gin palace cos we all too pissed most of the time and can't string sentences together lol)
