Hi Munz. Its Ionia. Thanks for letting me know about your thread.

wendy11 · 01/06/2005 14:31

Afternoon everyone,

Rom - I don't think it has really hit me that tomorrow is egg collection day We have been looking towards this day for so long that it feels as if the last few months have just disappeared without us really living them IYKWIM. I don't expect this sense of calmness to stay. Will probably be a bag of nerves by tonight, not able to sleep and driving DH up the walls. Many thanks to both you and Hula for you kind thoughts - they are really appreciated.

Off now to get some groceries so that the dogs/cat/DH do not starve over the next few days. Sorry that list is not in any particular order of improtance although DH would probably say that the dog does come before him sometimes .....sometimes the dog is a better listner and does not offer an opinion when asked 'does my bum look big in this?'

Diddle · 01/06/2005 14:29

I know you are all a mind of information and was just wondering how many days past ov can i test?? How soon could i get a BFP?

romilly · 01/06/2005 14:06

i'm here munzie - no chocolate for you today i'm afraid - i'm being good (guess it was the shock of thinking about summer/bodily exposure/bikini's in a few weeks time )

hello also to harrizeb, hula, frizbe, trix and sparkly.

loubie - no signs for me yet, nuthin' at all. have been looking for some temp. clues but my temps have remained boringly steady since the shift. your spike to 37.+ sounds very promising.

wendy - i shall be thinking of you tomorrow, are you feeling calm and collected or are you a bundle of nerves? either way i am praying it goes fantastically well for you hon.

here u go girls to brighten ur day's up!

A woman and a baby were in the doctor's examining room waiting for the doctor to come in for the baby's first exam.

Finally the doctor arrived, examined the baby, checked his weight, and being a little concerned, asked if the baby was breast-fed or bottle-fed.

"Breast-fed" she replied.

"Well! , strip down to your waist," the doctor ordered. She did. He pinched her nipples, then pressed, kneaded, and rubbed both breasts for a while in a detailed examination.

Motioning to her to get dressed, he said, "No wonder this baby is underweight. You don't have any milk."

"I know," she said, "I'm his Grandma, but I'm glad I came."

YAY - our net is up to full speed - sorry about yesterday. well i've now told 2 ppl in RL (two friends) i'm talking to the beanie and telling it to stay put! althou we did a test last night which was a BFN no evap line or anything so no ideas - can that happen? two BFP's then a BFN and still be PG? have bought some CB tests to try on the w/e as we want a nice strong line.

bella - hope al works out for u hon. and u get the BFP, remeber train station in 4 weeks time at 7.30 am, (althou wait 48 hours if it doesn't come cos trains can be slow!)

Morning all,

about the AF's and hopefully they are over soon so that you can be onwards and upwards to Easter Babies.

Bella I'm sorry you feel you need a break but fingers crossed it does the trick and you can chill out a bit have some you space and time.

On CD15 here and no idea when I ov'd but had EWCM from CD6 have managed to bd pretty much every other day since CD6 - much to DH's surprise, was going to again last night but had the most horrendous sore throat and cold and with the Footy being on went to bed early. Will have to book DH tonight instead. Hoping I've covered enough bases and that I'm cooking a fathers day present already .

Have a nice day
H x

sparkly · 01/06/2005 08:53

Milosmum - have been away for a few days and have only just seen this. I'm so so sorry I had the same thing happen in February and I know how hard it is. Big hugs to you xx

Well, I did a test on Sunday before heading for a few nights away and got a BFN. Then on Sunday night AF arrived so I'm now on CD4. This is now month 8 but only month 3 after my m/c.

Hula, sorry to hear about AF, but guess we're on the same day so we can endure the waiting together!

And, Munz, just saw yours - congrats! Well done!!

Loubie1968 · 01/06/2005 07:53

Hi Rom, glad I have a DPO twin

Every month I tell myself I won't get my hopes up because each month the crash down to reality when AF comes is harder to bear, but here I go again, analysing every symptom - today I've had a MASSIVE spike upwards in my temps, it's 37.25C whereas the highest it's ever been before is 36.8 so I've been jumping around the bedroom in glee (DP wasn't impressed at 6am ) so we'll just have to wait and see.....why does time go SO slowly??!! I'm feeling sick too, but that could well be nerves, or maybe the curry I had for tea last night.

How about you, any signs yet?

Good luck (to everyone)

Loubie xx

Frizbe · 31/05/2005 22:35

Hi Rom I'm fine thanks for asking, CD9 today by my reckoning, dum de dum......will lay of the peas tho! thanks for the tip, might explain why we didn't have any happenings last month, as I cleared the freezer out to defrost it and we ate a whole bag of peas in a week!
Lol at your cat Wendy

Hulababy · 31/05/2005 21:08

Thanks everyone; AF is nearly gone now. So on CD4, month 10.

Wendy ? glad to hear that the scan was good; good luck for Thursday

Trix/Bella ? sorry about AF :

Munz ? still really pleased for you :D So what did you do different this month? What made it be this month?

Milosmum ? so sorry

romilly · 31/05/2005 20:32

LOL wendy @ your cat

glad you are giving peas a wide berth!

romilly · 31/05/2005 20:28

sorry i didnt mean to scare you wendy! anyone else out there i've forgotten????

hey - we are both going to get there and bella too.

wendy11 · 31/05/2005 20:28

I am OK on the pea front....can't stand the things. Believe me if there is a pea on my plate I will find the thing!!! Even my cat doesn't eat the peas that come in its food. Well they do say that owners are like their pets....or is that pets are like their owners..........small, hairy, and bad tempered....thats the cat I am describing not me btw

romilly · 31/05/2005 20:24

hi frizbe - how you doing its sooooo great about munzie isnt it. thrilled for her.

loubie - i am on same dpo as you - 7dpo - dont you just hate this bit - its so boring! cant drink, cant test, cant relax.......

wendy hope you are managing to stay calm, roll on thursday!

milosmum honey - hope you are looking after yourself.

i came across a weird thing in a book about TTC which i thought i'd better share with you guys - lay off peas! yes, seriously - your common garden pea - apparently they have contraceptive powers and can lower your fertility. strange but true.

wendy11 · 31/05/2005 20:24

Rom - you have me really scared now. Are you sure there are not a few more "cautious" people around? Could we drag a few in off the streets just to make us feel better? Oh well by a process of elimination we must be almost there

Thanks to Rom, Loubie and Frizbe for your good wishes for Thursday. Ever heard of wishing your life away. Last week Tuesday couldn't come quick enough, now it is Thursday and then it will be Friday and then Sunday........and the list goes on. Help!!!!

Had a really nice txt message today from my bf who is on holiday in Majorca relaxing after finishing her finals at Uni last week. She just said "Another hurdle over...Keep thinking positive" She is the only person in RL apart from my mum and DH's mum and dad who know we are going through IVF so really appreciated her message

Frizbe · 31/05/2005 18:20

Hi all, sorry to hear such sad news on here today milosmum, big hugs to you {{{{{Hugs}}}}

Bella your off for a bit too....you will be missed , come back and see us all soon {{{Hugs}}}

Wendy, you are a ray of light for us all, really hope thursday goes well for you {{{Hugs}}}

Hi to everyone else, hope AF's are over with quickly and onwards towards easter bunny special deliveries

Loubie1968 · 31/05/2005 18:19

Hi, starting to get the hang of this now!

Bella - I understand totally where you're coming from - I've posted a couple of times on the other baby forum I user to say I'm bowing out for a while cos it's all got too stressy (my problem is I can't stay away that long though and invariably creep back with my tail between my legs a couple of days later!) Take care, and I hope you get some real good news soon.

MilosMum - I'm really sorry to hear your news - I went through exactly the same in January - was over the moon when I got a BFP, but was worried as I had been spotting for nearly a week by then, so went to the doctors. They did a test and it was a BFN and I m/c a couple of days later. It's soul destroying, but I took some comfort from the fact that I knew I could GET pregnant. Hugs to you

Wendy - all the very best for Thursday, I really really hope it goes well for you.

I can't remember anyone elses names just yet - how do you all manage to do such long posts and not get everyone mixed up?!

I'm in the last part of the dreaded 2WW now, 7 DPO and gonna wait till 12 to test (Sunday, yikes!)

Good luck to everyone

Loubie xx
