Rom - ((((Hugs))) Your story brought tears to my eyes. I know exactly what you mean about the happiest and saddest days of your life, but remember that there will be happy days again and some day soon you will literally be jumping over the moon with happiness when you get your BFP.

Bella - hope you get that soon. The waiting is awful....almost as bad as the 2ww!

Charleepeters - glad the bleeding has settled down. Hope all goes well with your scan.

Debbsy - so sorry hun. You have experienced a massive loss and no matter how short or long a time we know we are pg we still maked plans and have hopes for the future and it will take time for your emotions to settle. Have a good cry and release the tension whatever way you can. Don't hold it back because it is going to come to the surface eventually and believe me better now that in several weeks or months time.

For me af arrived last Monday and still having spotting today which is really odd for me so thought I better ring the clinic and find out if this is OK. Apparently this means that the osetrogens are really low and is a good thing and should stop once I start the injections on Saturday. Don't mind so much now that I know it is OK. This may sound silly but I honestly think the acupuncture is helping my body accept the treatment as I haven't experienced any of the hot flushes or mood swings that I was warned about - just the headaches but that could be as much to do with having a cold as anything. Although have been feeling quite emotional as dissolved into floods of tears at lunch yesterday when I dropped the pepper pot and broke it into a million peices - not the end of the world but it felt like it

Sorry my posts are like an essay. I will have to learn to keep them under control

Hope everyone is having a nice evening.

Hulababy · 16/05/2005 17:57

CD18 for me, which in the past has been OV time, but not sure this month. Seem to have had EWCM earlier last week, and them again yesterday. Oh well - we will see in two weeks I guess.

Hulababy · 16/05/2005 17:56

Debbsey ? so sorry  Really hope you get your time soon.

Teuch ? I just continue in exactly same manner re drinking/eating in the 2WW. When I first started TTC, I did try to be careful but now I just get on with it. DD was finally conceived last time round after I had spent the weekend before testing drinking at a big night out, and drinking at a Robbie concert. She was just fine.

Lottielou ? good luck for this month

Frizbe, Handbag, Milosmum ? good luck with the testing ? when is test day to be?

munz · 16/05/2005 17:48

evein all, well over the w/e DH and I went from 4 BD's to 2 so not bad, and on 4 tonight as well as long as he behaves! anyhow off out swimmin will post again and catch up properly after 8, also BB in work from tomorrow (hopefully) so should mean more MN time for me! YAY!!!

LottieLou - lots of babydust for you this month, you've had such a rough ride the last few weeks.

fertility friends website says behave just as if you were pregnant in the 2ww with regards to drinking alcohol - which is worth bearing in mind if you are the type to go on a huge bender - but frankly i think one or two really won't do any harm...

Lottielou · 16/05/2005 15:42

Hi Ladies.
Great new thread. Well after AF is over now, so am now on CD7. As most of you know this is my first cycle after my m/c so am getting down to some serious Bd'ing this week. Have decided not to use OPK's for this month and am praying that i wont have to next month.
Heaps of baby dust to all of us, i have a feeling this new thread will bring tons of BFP's for all of us.
Hope you're all doing o.k? Haven't had time to catch up from previous thread and these messages! love to all x x

Tabs · 16/05/2005 15:40

Teuch - guess I'm against the consensus on this one, but I def avoid caffeine and alcohol in the 2ww, and the rest of the time too mostly, as both decrease fertility! Most places have decaf now, and it's easy to say that you're on a health kick without going into detail as to why.

Your call though - I know some find it harder than I have.

Frizbe · 16/05/2005 15:39

oooh cross with Rom, Harrizeb, could it be you ?

Frizbe · 16/05/2005 15:38

Teuch I ditto also! especially carry on with the coffee, as IME you'll probably go off it if you are preggers anyway (either that or crave it, when you can't have it!)
Milos Mum your a day ahead of me n Handbag, so you get to be this thread's 1st tester! hurrah! (unless there is anyone else out there to beat us to it?)

Debsey, I'll can only echo what everyone else has said below me, big hugs hun.

romilly · 16/05/2005 15:36

ooh harrizeb - could it be our first order is in already?! keep us posted...

yellowbear - all the stickiest stickydust in the world for your scan this thurs. we'll be thinking of you.

Harrizeb · 16/05/2005 15:33

Ok I have managed to confuse myself completely. Was going through my diary this morning to check what CD I am and discovered that AF is due saturday. My bits are really heavy and getting sore and they haven't done that about AF time since before i was pg with DS, then on Saturday at the Baby show, my friend was talking to a lady about breast pumps and I felt like my milk had just come in, i wouldn't have been surprised to see damp patches on my t-shirt!!!! I know that this has to be my brain playing tricks on me but it's got me wondering!!!

yellowbear · 16/05/2005 14:17

Hi rom, still lurking and keeping up on everyones news. Not quite ready to join the dec thread yet, got a scan on thursday so I may feel ready after that.

Sending lots of babydust your way.

romilly · 16/05/2005 14:16

teuch - ditto bella

it could be the last drinks for a while, hopefully!
