Morning ladies, the sun is shining - hoorah!

Well quick question re persona. Yesterday I got a on my clearblue digital and was expecting to see an "O" on my persona but this morning there was nothing and I have used all the tests. So does this mean that the "O" symbol will not appear seeing as there is no more testing this month?
Am confused as ov seems to be late this month as it is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sperm can move freely in egg white . If you are going to do this and your doctor okays it, make sure you do the following:

• Wash your hands and the egg thoroughly before cracking it open.
• Be careful not to get even the tiniest amount of yellow in it.
• Use a fresh egg
• Place approximately 1/4tsp. of egg white on the tip of the penis.

So glad they specified to use a fresh egg, as obviously people would want to use a rotten one otherwise!!!!!!!

YUKKKKKKKKK Tabs! eugh, can you imagine trying to stick real egg white up there! visions of dh trying to split an egg and then pour it up there, yyyuuuuuukkkkkkkkk,
But seriously do you think it'd work?

Frizbe - I think the strangest one I've heard is using real egg white if you don't get ewcm yourself! Just makes me wonder what happens to the egg as it gets warm - have images of sausage with scrambled egg all going on up there!!!!

so in the interests of science, what wild and wonderful ways/methods have people heard of being used to get pregnant?

I read about one girl, who could only get pregnant when she stuck her legs in the air for half an hour afterwards!, she had 2 children conceived in this way, and it only happened on both occasions when she did this, just going to sleep afterwards with legs flat never did the trick!

Tabs - totally agree on the symptoms front as also had no signs when i got a BFP last time!
Its all part of the big scheme to drive us into the looney bin!!
Rom - yes demand to see the lady GP and be pushy, am inclined to think in this world that's the only way to be...especially when it come to TTC!

Trix - yes I definitely find the 2ww the worst bit. I always try to read something into what my temps are doing, but they just don't tell me anything useful!

They're a bit odd this month which is making me unsure about whether I really did ov, but should be more confident one way or the other within the next couple of days.

I also go into overdrive on analysisng every possible symptom, but when I got pg last year I didn't have any symptoms before BFP, so this is also a futile exercise!!!!!

bella - LOL at d/h's lid preferably!! yes you are right about GP - in fact there is another v.good female GP at the same practice who i always try and see, but i seem to get lumped with him each time. i will go and see her.

We ladies love the ovulation predictor tests (particular fave is the cleablue digital - pricey but gives a satisfying face when a positve result)

Prefered method of collection of wee is a deodorant lid - DH's if possible....or is that just me

news with me is, today i have had some spotting (never had this), when my AF starts i am normally flooding the first few days, bad enough to use night time towels so i am even more puzzled now, it is like cm with blood in (sorry if tmi!)very very odd [scratching head emotion!]

Rom - I would change GP....any chance? Couldn't cope with all the umming and arhing! A more sympathetic GP might make you feel that you are going through this with some support!

Another thing I have noticed is how tender / painful my boobs are since yesterday does this mean anything - I go looking for signs and then get bitterly disappointed when AF arrives.

Rom - yes I did - i am a novice to all these different tips and things to look out for.

my friends who do not have any problems with getting pregnant would not have a clue about any of this. they would think I am mad..(envy)

trix - milky cm is quite normal - did you have EWCM around OV time? you can get different patches even after OV

I would seek a second opinion your doc does not inspire much confidence. I have heard there is supposed to be a very good IVF clinic in Aldridge in the West Midlands and know people who have been successful there after in some cases many failed attempts elsewhere...

Can anyone advise me on this please? do you still have mc on day 19 thats where I am now. I had a lot of very milky mc yesterday. apologies for being so graphic.

Rom - have a read of this - I picked it up from another thread the other day. Think it includes some stuff about age limits, which I seem to recall ranged from 34-45, depending on the clinic.
