munz im sorry that you have miscarried, its awful when the one thing we want most in our life is to get pregnant. then we finally do only to have a miscarriage, life is so so cruel

thinking of you and hoping you can get through this which you will but in your own good time

i remember when i miscarried i found it really weird when i heard cars going past my house, people walking past laughing and going about there own business...i found it strange that the whole world hadnt actually stopped and it felt wrong, they should have all stopped for me...weird i know but its how i felt, and i felt angry, luckyily dh knew the exact things to say and when to say them, sometimes just saying nothing and giving me a hug when i needed one..remember to talk and cry whenever you feel like it

milosmum thinking of you too

wendy good luck tomorrow, 24andhalf hours to go xxx

wendy11 · 04/06/2005 09:37

Munz - I am so, so sorry for your loss. Life is so unfair at times and there is absoulutley nothing we can do about it. Take really good care of yourself and talk to your DH about it. Please don't bottle it up. I know it is probably not the same but after my father died my mother just carried on as if nothing had happened but about 18 months later we had a mess on our hands. It has taken her years to come to terms with her loss. Don't expect too much of yourself over the next few days, just take it really easy and give your body time to heal. Thinking about you so much today and my sincere thanks for thinking about me when you have so much going on in your own life. You are a very caring person and you will succeed eventually in having the baby you want. Sending you lots of love and hugs.

Hulababy · 04/06/2005 09:21

Oh munz - I am so sorry It just isn't fair. But is isn't your fault. It hasn't happened because of anything you have done at all. As I said, it does happen and it isn't fair. Give yourself time. I know exactly how you must be feeling right now. Take care. I'm around to chat anytime you fancy it - feel free to CAT me or whatever if you feel the need to talk.

charleepeters · 04/06/2005 08:37

oh munz in so sorry take it easy and relax, you and milos mum need time to mentally heal before you can carry on ttc.

rom - i hope its not to bad at fil's house.

wendy - i hope your ok thinking of you for tomorrow.

every one else - i hope your all ok!

well ive busted my bugs so my house is spotless again! im on day 7 so just waiting for ov then i get the dreaded 2 week wait! i had a dream last night i had triplets! wtf?
I hate to say it but this threas isnt looking to lucky this time shouls we try again??? weve had loads of af'f this months and now milosmum and munz loss.

hugs to all have a good weekend

Loubie1968 · 04/06/2005 08:32

munz - so sorry to hear what's happened, I know how you feel as exactly the same happened to me in January - I got a BFP and then less than a week later had an early m/c. I felt like I'd done something wrong too, and felt like a frud for some reason, I still don't know why exactly - maybe it's because the pregnancy wasn't recognised medically. Take care x

Wendy, fingers crossed for tomorrow, I hope the outcome is good

MM - sorry to hear about your m/c too, ditto what I said to munz x

Everyone else, good luck, hope there's some more BFPs soon, although I think I'm out of the running now, as my temps have plummeted this morning and it's too late for an implantation drop (11 DPO)

Take care everyone

Loubie xx

munz · 04/06/2005 07:39

hiya guys,

well it's definatly all over by the looks of things, the DR didn't ring me back yesterday - great load of help they are in the surgery, anyhow, the bleeding got worse as the night went on at home, I had tummy cramps nausia and a really really sore back so was on the sofa for most of the night, tried to get into be and the cramping was worse - it felt like my insides were going to drop out or something, really sore and tender all across my front esp the right side (odd as I don't have a right overy), anyhow lots of crying and talking to DH later and he keeps tellling me it's not my fault I did nothing wrong - but I must have done something or my beanie would have stuck. I eel like i'm bein punished or something and god's upstairs laughing cos he know's why and I don't. at the minute all i'm really doing is crying.

rom - I know it's going to be hard at your FIL's house, but I think part of the reason I feel so crappy is I never really delt with my prev m/c 6 years ag - I went off the rails and ran away from the problem, please don't do that the longer u leave it the worse things will be trust me I know! I hope the weekend goes OK for you. keep talking to Mr Rom about it, and have a little cry if you need to, it will be hard but u'll be all the more stronger for going.

wend - good luck honney for tomorrow I hope things go weel for you.

not too sure if we're going to carry on with our TTC or not, I may weel just keep a track on my body clock and check in with u guys but not try iycwim, DH is away a lot during the crucial time this month and next so they'll be a wash out anyways. not sure whta to do for the best. I know we have to deal with this now otehr wise the problem will escalate.

anyhow hope everyone else is OK, and sorry if i've now depressed u all

mm - feel free to CAT if u wanna have a chat sometime. (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))) I know how u feel hon.

Milosmum {{{Hugs}}}

Wendy, good luck for Sunday, go eggs go

Rom {{{Hugs}}} echoing others thoughts, its a long hard road your on, but it will get easier, I'm sure dh's folkes will understand if your a bit upset, don't worry, that's what family are for, fingers x'd the next time you go and stay there, you'll have a baby with you {{{Hugs}}}

Charleepeters, hope the bug busting is going well

Hi to everyone else, hope you all have a good weekend.

wendy11 · 03/06/2005 17:50

Rom and Bubbly thank you. I am still feeling very sleepy today but I think that is probably due to the lack of sleep last night.

Rom - ((((hugs)))) I will be thinking of you this weekend. There are so many ghosts we have to face on this road to recovery and sometimes the road seems never ending but I know that you will be able to do it. Have a good cry if you need to - it does help. Have you talked to your DH about how you are feeling? Perhaps he could discreetley let his dad know what your feelings are. Don't be too hard on yourself this weekend, just take it nice and easy and you will get the strength you need to see you through this. Sending you love and hugs for the weekend

Munz - how are you hun? Have you had a chance to talk to the nurse yet? Take it easy and take care of yourself. Sending you love and hugs too.

bubbly1973 · 03/06/2005 17:10

romilly · 03/06/2005 15:29

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww munz honey - what a nightmare, it is agonizing not knowing what's caused the bleeding. i think you should REST - leave work and go home and take it really easy pleeease. god, i hope its all okay for you honey, really i do.

this is so difficult this whole ttc thing it is totally getting to me now (well it was before, but it doesnt get any easier.) i have to go and stay at mr.rom's fathers house this weekend which will be the first time i have been back to the room where everything started going wrong for me at christmas. we were staying with them and had only just told them i was pg. and sure enough...well, you know the rest. anyway, long story short - i dont want to go and i'm dreading it - silly and irrational i know, but i dont want to be in that room. horrible memories.

anyway enough about me, hugs to munzie and milosmum.

wendy - so so so happy that you got 5! that is fantastic and shows it can be done. we are all with you every step of the way now... you look after yourself now, and masses of dust for sunday.´¯<strong>·´¯· ´¨) .·´ ¸.·´¨) ¸.·¨)

well girls went home this lunch time and did another test mainly just to see, and I have a dot, no line just a dot, a nice BF dot! v firm and clearly there exactly where the line should be - so god knows, I wish my body would make it's bloody mind up this week's been such a roller coaster ride of emotions. have to wait another hour b4 I can talk to the nurse again.

mm - ((((((hugs)))))))) i'm here with u as well honney, I think we two should take this walk together - what do u say?

wend - glad all is going ok for you. hope sunday works out OK.

wendy11 · 03/06/2005 14:20

George - thank you so much for checking up on me. So far so good. I did post to you on the other thread but well done on your news as well (((hugs)))

wendy11 · 03/06/2005 14:15

Trix - really good to hear positive IVF stories at this stage in our treatment.

DQ - if all 5 are still looking good on Sunday we will have 2 put back and be given the option of freezing the other 3. Any less than 3 to freeze may not be worthwhile as there is always the risk that they will not defrost properly but we shall see what happens. To be honest I just hope and pray that we have 2 really good ones for Sunday.

george32 · 03/06/2005 14:13

Wendy, what great news, all sounds really positive & I'm so glad it wasn't too painful for you.
It's no wonder your nerves have gone a bit. It is a huge week for you and your DH.
It is wonderful to hear that you keep getting past each step. Keeping everything crossed for you for the weekend.
xx

Trix1 · 03/06/2005 13:31

Hula - Day 6 for me too, my cycle sounds like a carbon copy of yours - usually 29/29 days but last month it was 32 days. I think I ovulated around day 18 but had stopped bding by then. This month I am going to bd every 2nd or 3rd day all the way until day 24/25.

Feeling a bit teary this month as I would have been in my eigth month of pregnancy now and everytime I hear of a birth and there has been about 10 announcements in the last two weeks I feel a knot in my chest.

Munz and Milo I am so sorry its just so devastating and no word can help. Im thinking of you both.

Wendy - Well done you are so close now, five eggs to have fertilized is really fantastic. You seem to be taking it all in your stride - good on you. Three of my friend are currently pregnant from IVF and one is having twins. They are due in October and November.

Can someone tell me what this ff is please? I need as much assistance in ttc as possible - Over three years trying for a another baby is just too long.

Good luck everyone this month.

dramaqueen72 · 03/06/2005 13:15

wendy, still lurking and checking up on you!! so glad to hear that five are looking good for you!!
so tell me what do they do with them all? do they freeze the three you arent having back (assuming all continue to grow and divide) or do they ahve to 'choose' two? wow. I'm so very glad this is going to plan for you. have all crossed for you!(((hugs)))

milosmum · 03/06/2005 13:12

munz- im right here with you hope you have a bit of good luck though!

Hulababy · 03/06/2005 11:45

Good to hear the collection and fertilisation has gone well so far Wendy. Good luck for Sunday.

Hulababy · 03/06/2005 11:44

Oh Munz Take it easy - do as the doctor says. Have everything crossed for you and hoping for the best here. Sorry you are going through this. Even if the GP didn't conifrm your BFP it doesn't matter - they should treat you exactly the same as if he/she did.

Tabs · 03/06/2005 11:43

Wendy - what excellent news! Wishing you the best of luck for the transfer on Sunday. xx

jessicasmummy · 03/06/2005 11:39

MUNZ - babe, im sorry. I hope all is ok, and you get some rest.

Really feeling for you and your dh right now. If you want to talk, you know where i am xxx

wendy11 · 03/06/2005 11:37

Good morning Ladies

Milosmum - I am so sorry. Take as long as you need to come to terms with your loss and believe me never feel guilty about crying. It is the best release you can have. Don't bottle it up. Sending you love and hugs.

Munz - please take it easy. The bleeding may be nothing to worry about. Thinking about you and willing everything to be OK.

To everyone else - thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers - they certainly winged their way to us here in N Ireland.
We had 9 eggs collected yesterday and when we rang this morning 5 have fertilised normally so we are in for embryo transfer on Sunday at 11am.

The egg collection was not as bad as I had anticipated having watched the precious babies documentry I expected to be in agony but thankfully not, although I do feel a bit tender around the ovary area and still beeding a little bit. There were several follicles which did not contain an egg so I suppose it is little wonder that it can take so long to get pg naturally when not all follicles contain eggs and not all eggs are even able to fertilise IYSWIM.

Neither DH or I slept very well last night as we were both worried that the eggs would not fertilise. We had to ring this mroning at 10.15 and I managed to spill my tea at breakfast, drop the milk jug and throw up all in the space of 10mins - talk about nerves.

Now we just hope and pray that the fertilised eggs continue to develop and divide properly and that we have at least 2 really good quality ones to go back on Sunday.

Rom - if this is the route you have to go down as well don't be afraid, its bad but it is not that bad. It is an emotional rollercoaster but then again isn't all ttc

Going to rest today but I will pop back in later on to catch up.

Once again thanks to everyone

sparkly · 03/06/2005 11:18

Hula - day 6 today for me so 1 day behind you. My normal cycles are 28-30 days but the last one was about 50! No idea what that was all about. When I did get pg in Feb, I must have ov'd late (around day 17) so am going to start BDing on day 12 to day 20! Am sure DP won't be complaining! Just hope he's actually home and not bloody away again!

Sorry to hear about the hassles with the house. It's awful when things are so out of your control like that. Will keep my fingers crossed that the buyer comes good in time for it all to go through.

sparkly · 03/06/2005 11:11

Munz, I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. When I was pg with my dd I did bleed alot at the beginning. I didn't even know I was pregnant and assumed it was AF. It's the waiting that is the hardest, I know. Thinking of you xx

munz · 03/06/2005 10:39

rang the Dr's and basically it's feet up, rest and see what happens, althou i'm not holdng out hope. not sure how I feel yet as not entirely sure I accepted I was PG iyswim. DH is being a sweety and v teary today. have come to work as i'd rather keep busy, althou DH is working all weekend 12 hr sifts so will be v v lonely over the w/e.

hula - hope the house sale picks up.

rr - noted the order.

hq is on auto poilet for the next week or so, orders will be sent out as usual.
