romilly · 22/05/2005 16:52

milosmum sorry hon. we hate that "N" letter. hope the other two letters A and F dont appear and it was just a case of too little hcg showing up.

well hope everybody else is enjoying the weekend, and yes thankyou i feel more human today. ate so much food for my hangover though yesterday that i am forcing myself off to do some exercise now, groooan.

wendy11 · 22/05/2005 16:50

Sorry about that Tabs. Haven't quite mastered the art of links.

Alternatively e-mail [email protected]
FAO - Carolyn Bray

If anyone else can do a link for tabs to this I would appreciate it, or tell me what I have done wrong.

Debbsy · 22/05/2005 16:38

i know tabs but hes not here at the moment gone motocross racing till 2nite.

wendy11 · 22/05/2005 16:35

Tabs - all the money raised goes to the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (SANDS) who offer support to bereaved parents, their families and friends. I will try and attach the order form as a link

order form here \link{http://www.uk-sands.org/download/Wristband_OrderForm.pdf}

Tabs · 22/05/2005 16:10

Afternoon ladies

Trix - yes if your cycle is normally 28 days then you could test on Thurs - it's bad enough waiting for 2 weeks without me making you wait longer .

The early response tests don't work for everyone. I read a while ago that the ones which claim to work 4 days before AF is due would actually only show a +ve result in 5% of pregnant women that early. You don't start producing hcg until after implantation, which usually happens 7-10 days after ov, and obviously you need to be producing enough of it for the test to pick up, so I'm definitely an advocate of waiting until AF is due to test.

Rom + Bella - hope you're both feeling brighter today.

Wendy - the SANDS wristbands sound great. Can you give me a link where I can buy them, and do you know what the money raised goes towards?

Debbsy - up so early to do yoga - very impressive, though there are other things you could wrap your legs round your head for in the mornings .

Frizbe - good luck for testing tomorrow.

Munz - how dare you insult Eurovision!!! (Good on you Wendy for watching some of it at least). I went to a Eurovision party where we had scoresheets and had to mark each entry out of 12 for song, performance, dance routine and outfit! Greece, who went on to win (lots of neighbours who like to vote for them), scored highly on everything apart from song, which wasn't really that good. Norway should have won it IMHO - their entry was rather like a very good Darkness performance!

Have checked out your link Munz - just confirms that I'm doing everything right. And I'd have been happy if it had just taken 2 years for each - then I'd have 2 already!!!!

wendy11 · 22/05/2005 12:49

Munz - good to see you are back in top form. All your BD'ing dates sound promising. Keeping everything crossed for you this month.

Milosmum - dorry about the BFN but as the rest have said you may just have tested too early. Give it a day or two and if still no sign of af test again. How are the temps looking now?

Frizbe - a swimsuit with floats in it is what my DH needs. He swims straight to the bottom

Tabs - guilty. I watch some of eurvision as well although got fed up when each country voted for their nearest neighbour and gave up and went to bed!!

Rom - recoverd yet?

Well had second injection this morning and didn't hurt a bit. Feel very confident that DH's animals never feel a thing when he gives them an injection. Always felt a bit sorry for them before

DH is cooking lunch today.....I am honoured!! Think he is getting in some practice as I have warned him that if we get as far as egg transfer I will be taking it very easy for a while afterwards......no standing slaving over a hot stove for me!!

Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

oh friz - sorry about that hon, I should read more carefully.

Frizbe · 22/05/2005 11:54

Ooh Munz that sounds promising, I'm a great daft believer in fate n dreams n all that tripe
It wasn't proper swimming, we just take dd, who thankfully happily floated on her front today with her armbands on and a float in front of her, and me n dh taking it in turns to hold her up (I say this cause last time I'd invested in a new swimsuit with floats in it, and she hated it n screamed the place down! so that's back in the drawer for now....think it was still just a tad 'big' for her....)
I'm testing tomorrow (did say below! but lots to read eh!)

Milsosmum but like everyone says could just be too early!

munz · 22/05/2005 11:19

ooh also as well last night I had a dream that I was holding my little girl - what do u suppose that means? any dream experts out there?

OP posts:
munz · 22/05/2005 11:09

morning all,

Bella - thanks for the takling to hon and i'm feeling a lot happier today, esp as i've just looked at when we BD, we did the deed on CD's 10,11,13,15 and 17 (and they say every 48 hours now don't they,) I think if I ov'ed late it would've been CD's 15/16 should I BD tonight as well just to make sure? what do u think? (last night's BD (if already not PG) may have done the trick I think as er, well DH was knocking at the door if u catch my drift!

sp - good luck for wedsnesday hon, hope all goes well for you at the DR's as well. u're order has it's stamp as well and has been despached from HQ so just wait and catch it!

wend - ((((((hugs))))))) god now I feel a prize fool talking the way I did after what you guys have been going thru. I hope the injections are not too painful today as well. and this IVF lark works on the first attempt for you. what happens after your injections? You talk about Adam all you want to us hon, we don't mind, the bands we're lovely I thought. and b4 u say it again u must be a strong person inside, perhaps u just don't realise how strong u are. (((((((hugs))))))

rom - I have no sympathy with u young lady! that headache was self inflicted so there! (blows a raspberry icon!) how are you coming on?

debs - did u manage to BD? the key I alsways think is to talk to DH's about stuff ( I do mainly besides fridays' episode) it keeps the in the loop at bit and then they make more allowances for you. ooh and person for me is normally red form CD6 but I don't OV till CD13 ish normally so it's normal, I have EWCM from about CD9 as well will about 15 ish. (or at least it feels really wet below)

friz - girl sunday's a day of rest! u shouldn't be swimming today! good luck for testing when do u test?

tabs - eurovision 1 thing to say - how sad r u! lol, (whispers who won it then?) not that it isn't all political anyhow, (the last time we won was 1997 which was when TB came to power)

MM ((((((((((hugs))))))))))) sorry about the BFN, as the other girls have said it's prob just too early, your order has been despached as well, and I really don't want to do a royal mail lost in the post claim form!

a lot happier today as I thought we'd mssed our window, but I'm actualy a CD further than I thought i was which puts our BD day's good, if i'm not PG this month then next month i'm doing the bum on pillows 6 time's over OV and every day (twice a day) for a week eitehr side of OV just to get the job done! still didn't buy any PG tests! YAY!! might cave thou on pay day on thursday (thinks must be strong!) willt est on 1st june with u charlee if no AF as that will be CD28.

Tabs · 22/05/2005 09:42

(((((((((Milosmum)))))))))) I'm sorry honey, but it may have just been too early - don't lose heart yet.

Will catch up with the rest of you later - can't believe you were all chatting on here when you could have been watching Eurovision!!

milosmum · 22/05/2005 09:39

BFN

Frizbe · 22/05/2005 08:52

Hi all

Just a quick one, as we're off swimming soon (well when breakfast has digested anyway!)

Wendy its very moving to hear you talk about Adam, please don't ever stop.

Debsey good to see your feeling better about things today, can you do all of those fabby yoga poses then? Hope you have a good hols! Roll on friday for you!

Milosmum have you tested yet?
Handbag hope you enjoyed the spa, have you tested yet?

Sparkley TEST!!!! I fully understand that its scarey, but you need to know.

I'm holding off until tomorrow, although if a 32 day cycle, tec shouldn't have AF until Tue, but have Aikido grading this week and don't wana bash about a bean if there is one in there! (or it won't hang in) although not holding out much hope of that, but you never know......

Hi to Rom, Hula, hope your weekend away was good? Munz, Tabs, Teuch, Rachelrog, Bella23, Kaleb, Harrizeb, Worriedbev, Trix1, Starreyeyed and anyone else I may have missed.

Debbsy · 22/05/2005 08:20

10pm -doh again off to do some yoga now speak later.x

Debbsy · 22/05/2005 08:19

morning all im up early today going to start packing things up today as working all week so wont have time and we leave at 4am on fri.Wendy last mth when i used calista it said i was bcoming fertile on day 9 but ov day was day 12 i think well it must have been right as i did get caught but sadly wasnt viable and lost it.I do have the clearblue ov kits mite use one of those later today to see what that says will have to grab dh when he gets in at 20pm tonite but he will be awfully tired ill ring him today and tell him we have to bd we could do with some closeness between us..

wendy11 · 21/05/2005 21:58

Thanks everyone. Hope I did not upset anyone. I seem to get carried away when I get on here and sometimes things come out that I would not dream of saying in RL. Mainly because not everyone would understand in RL butI know that you all do. Don't know about being particularly strong but gradually accepting things are the way they are for a reason although I may never know what that reason is.

Milosmum - things are looking good for you. Really hope you get that result tomorrow or the next day or when ever you decide to test

Charleepeters - there will be no stopping you when you get all those pg tests - you will have that lovely disease.....testitis

Sparkly - when are you due to test? I know what you mean with your worries for any future pg's but just hope for the best and enjoy every moment of it when you finally get there

Debbsy - I would say that things are looking good on the CM front. It can be watery/slippery for a few days before ov so don't worry too much about DH not being around tonight, you could still catch the eggie tomorrow or the next day. Would you normally ov as early as CD9?

Hows the head Rom? Hope you have had a good rest today. You have to get your strength up for some BD'ing soon

Goodnight everyone. Think I will have an early night.

charleepeters · 21/05/2005 21:22

I cant wait to here your results milosmum i wish you all the best and you to sparkly, i have got early tests winging there way to me which detect apparently 7-9 days after ov and detect 10ml but i will probably wait untill day AF is due if i can. thats 1st June sooooooooo long away 11 days of hell

sparkly · 21/05/2005 21:03

Wendy, it's great that you're able to share that with us - brought tears to my eyes.

Must admit, after miscarrying in February I'm actually scared to take a test even though I know I should. It's silly really and I know it. Y'all know what it's like when you want it so badly - I just don't want to be disappointed. But on the other hand if I was fortunate enough to get a BFP I'd be so worried the same was going to happen again. It's torture, it really is. But, we will hold out till Wednesday ... maybe.

Debbsy · 21/05/2005 20:43
