Just popping to say hello to everyone.

Rom - AF should show up this weekend, am afraid am not planning on doing a test as can't face another BFP and have no preg symptoms (made up or otherwise). Sorry sound like a right party pooper don't I!
Cool - you got your "O" on persona - ye ha! Mr Rom - watch out there's a woman after you!

George & DQ - really miss you guys but so glad to hear all is going fab with you both. Sickness eh? Well just make sure you keep in mind that its a great sign! Love to you both xx

Tabs · 25/05/2005 06:01

Quadruple thanks Frizbe and congrats on your aikido result . Can't really help with the early test question, as I only ever use clearblue digital, but I think that Teuch used First Response for hers if that helps.

Teuch - know you're trying to ignore it a bit at the moment, but have you worked out your due date yet? I've started a Feb 06 ante-natal club, but I'm in it on my own at the moment - would be great if you would join me when you feel ready.

Feb 06 thread

Frizbe · 24/05/2005 23:09

Wow Tabs I didn't realise you'd been trying for that long, your an inspiration to us all, have quadruple congrats again from me!

Hula I like the idea of a pink smeg! the toaster looks cool as well, I reckon you could get round dh, by explaining that chrome is soooooo out of fashion now, colour is all the rage now, don't ya know!
I hope tomorrow brings you great news re the house move

Well I've managed my grading at aikido tonight! so although no bump I do have another piece of electrical tape on my belt, to show I know, what I know!! Although it all gets a lot harder here on in.....which has made me think about the pace at which I'm hitting the mat, can't be good for a bump to hang on in, in the early days, so I may have to get hold of some early tests, to prevent me loosing a beanie that's only just implanted, if you get what I mean?
Can someone tell me which early test is best to buy?

Tabs · 24/05/2005 22:08

Thanks bubbly and Hula - still not really sunk in yet.

Tabs · 24/05/2005 22:07

I had a goth phase in my teens though. I remember a piece of domestic science homework where we had to write about and draw our ideal kitchen. I couldn't draw (or be bothered to), so I said that my kitchen was going to be completely black, and handed in my homework with a big square all filled in it black!!! I got into trouble for that one

bubbly1973 · 24/05/2005 22:04

tabs, just wanted to add my congratulations too

so congratulations!!!
after all those years of trying it truly is wonderful

Hulababy · 24/05/2005 21:57

sparkly · 24/05/2005 21:55

Nooooo!!! Don't say that. Already worry about dd expressing her clothing preferences - she wore leg warmers to school last Friday with nothing on but her green gym knickers and gym tshirt. I thought she was going to get told off but the teacher thought it was good but she is a bit quirky my dd!!

Tabs · 24/05/2005 21:53

I haven't grown out of pink and I'm 31!

Hulababy · 24/05/2005 21:51

No doubt they will go through a goth phase and try painting their rooms black - and we will be on here reminicisng and wishing back the pink

sparkly · 24/05/2005 21:49

I do wonder when they grow out of loving pink!

Pity about the toaster but if you've already got the chrome one you don't have much of an argument for getting the pink one!

Hulababy · 24/05/2005 21:42

Aw bless. My DD is 3yo (and 1 month ) and is pink mad too. She has been for a while now - so girly it's unbleievable.

Love the toaster. Not sure DH will let me though. We have the chrome dualit and he won't let me change it - the meanie

sparkly · 24/05/2005 21:38

Hula found this to go with your fridge!

sparkly · 24/05/2005 21:33

How old is dd? My dd is 5 and she'd probably believe the world would be a better place if we had a pink fridge. She is pink mad!! At her school when they have a day where they can come in "play" clothes it's a sea of various shades of pink (all girls school!).

Hulababy · 24/05/2005 21:28

Sounds great. Not sure I would know how to cook on an Aga though. They do look lovely Still can't believe DH has given into the pink Smeg - me and DD ganged up on him! Might need the odd pink accessory, me thinks

sparkly · 24/05/2005 21:25

Hula - just read about your pink Smeg fridge - very jealous! We're going to redo the kitchen in our new place when dp's place sells and my luxury item is going to be an Aga!! DP despairs but he's stuck with me!

Fingers crossed it all comes together for you soon so you can worry less.

Hulababy · 24/05/2005 21:17

Hope your beak is lovely, romantic and relaxing

Hulababy · 24/05/2005 21:17

Not today sparkly. We are just tied as there is nothing we can do; buyer controls it all. He still says there is nothing to worry about - ha! DH did phone up house builders today to ask if they accept part exchange. They are calling back tomorrow. But not holding out much hope - most don't do it on city apartments sadly.

sparkly · 24/05/2005 21:14

Sorry for whinging earlier - I know people have it a lot worse than me. Glad to see I wasn't the only one drinking though! Have now moved onto diet coke - realising drinking alone is sad! DP phoned earlier and that was nice. He says not to stress out about which is right but so damn hard. I agree with you Hula that it can't be condusive to getting pregnant - did your dh make any progress with your buyer today?

DD is with her dad this half term so I've booked a hotel for Monday/Tuesday nights just to get away from it all with DP. Can guarantee that AF will arrive either on the day or the day before just to ruin my plans to have loads of fun!! Sorry, possibly TMI! See, that's what early evening drinking does to me

jessicasmummy · 24/05/2005 20:59

Someone get Munz to get hold of me will ya - lost contact a few months back!

Good luck to all from little old me on the due oct thread.... loads of baby dust coming your way soon im sure xxxx

romilly · 24/05/2005 20:58

booze free zone

Debbsy · 24/05/2005 20:48

trix sparkly sorry about bfn agree with everyone else though not over till af arrives im having a glass of wine too.

Hulababy · 24/05/2005 20:45

So sorry about BFN Sparkly

Oh, you too Trix ? sorry

Sparkly - you are not drinking alone. I have a glass too; I'll drink with you.

Still on 2WW - AF due this weekend. But, TBH, I really can't see me getting pg whilst feeling so stressed. Can you? Don't think stress is conducive (sp?) to TTC.

Hulababy · 24/05/2005 20:43

Massive congratulations Tabs!!!
