Hi all

Sevans - sorry to hear your news but at least you now know things do work but this pregnancy was just not o be. My thoughts are with you and dh x

stac - good luck with the scan hun x

pink - have a great holiday and hope af does not arrive right at the wrong time

Gilli - go for the yoga sounds good. I think any form of relaxation you choose will be positive.

Well I have just booked up my hols for next May as im sick of putting my life on hold. We didnt have a holiday this year coz of being on tabs and having monthly scans. We also bought a VW camper van which DH is doing up so if its up and running we can have some weekends away.
Im seeing a psychic on Monday night and am hoping she will give me good news. I did go to a really good one when I was about 20
( 12 yrs ago ) and she said that I wouldnt have kids until after I was 30 and she could see twins. Oh well wait and see I suppose ( mind you my great nan had 3 sets of twins

stac14 · 02/12/2009 09:57

sevans really sorry to hear your news hun I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better. Sending virtual hugs and comfort your way hun

I am going for a scan today as I have been having a lot of pain too, hoping its just ligament pain but have also had a urine infection.

Sorry to hear about bfn's and af coming hope things get better for everyone xxxxx

Pinkali37 · 02/12/2009 09:17

Sevans i'm so sorry Like a lot of people on here. I've also had a miscarriage and it knocked me for quite some time BUT.... it did show me that i could get pregnant and that things did work. If there is any light at the end of the tunnel that was it for me. I'll be thinking of you xxx

I ordered umpteen pregnancy tests from Boots.com, they came yesterday and the silly fool that i am i tested again with a Negative so am expecting AF tomorrow not only on route to Baecelona but also on my birthday

gilliflowa · 02/12/2009 08:08

Hi Pinka. Firstly, have loads of fun in Barcelona I'd love to go to Barcelona some day. I live in Cape Town and we're all hyped up at the moment. We're having the FIFA world cup draw on Friday...I live in the
city and its buzzing at the moment.

The word RELAX doesn't exist in my vocab... i'm an extremely high strung person but I am trying to change that about myself.
I thank God that my hubby stands by me...

I'm a bit emotional today. AF has arrived today arghhhhh...

I'm going to try yoga as a form of relaxation.

popsy1 · 01/12/2009 19:33

sevans i am so very sorry, you and DH must be devastated. I don't really know what is yet to come (i lost my baby at 19wks so it was different)but i hope you have people around that can be of some comfort to you both, even its just to sit with you. Take good care of yourself and take as much time as you need to get yourself back on track.
Lots of love and hugs {{{ }}}} coming your way. I will be thnking of you

Also thinking of those of you whos Af has arrived or had a BFN, it always knocks me for six!!!
xxx

sevans · 01/12/2009 17:21

Well, my fears were confirmed at my scan today. I am indeed going through a miscarriage. I knew I was too lucky to fall pregnant off my first cycle of Clomid. I am going through some bleeding and cramps but I fear that the worse of it isn't here yet. I hope I get through it as quickly as possible. So I will soon be back on the TTC bus.

Pinkali37 · 01/12/2009 16:35

Gill how do you relax? Well i can't answer that but i've been there and i've done it. I got my self convinced this month would be it for me (god knows why because it was my first month on Clomid), and i'm off to Barcelona on Thursday so i kept thinking ooh i won't be able to drink. However after 2 BFN i am going to have a damn good time in barcelona and enjoy the time with DH and DD. I got to the stage before i got pregnant with DD that i thought there wasn't any point any more. I then got a harsh reality check and the month i fell pregnant sex had become less mechanical, life was still good because i had a man who loved me no matter what and voila... it worked! I also had acupuncture which i truely believes helped. I'm going to start it up again after christmas.

Life certainly tests us!

gilliflowa · 01/12/2009 13:10

hi pinka... thanks for your response. So there is hope after all... Tell me, how do I relax when all I want is to fall pregnant. I try really hard not to think about it but it is kinda difficult.

I gave up after the first cycle of clomid cause I didn't want to go through that depression again.

I've been feeling more positive lately so I've scheduled an appointment with my gynie next week. I'm going try the clomid thing again.

Oh and I'm 34 now.

Jojo1984b · 01/12/2009 10:05

Af got me so here we go again back on the clomid tomorow which is great cos it means i will have all the 'am i, arent i?' all over christmas. Oh well just gonna try not to think about it and relax and enjoy myself!

Hope everyones ok!

xxxx

Jojo1984b · 30/11/2009 15:22

Well CD27 and no AF, i think its gonna come though dont think this is my month . I expect it will arrive tomorow which i am dreading, it made me feel sooo crap last month.

Hows everyone else doing?

Pinkali37 · 30/11/2009 09:20

zobey even....

Pinkali37 · 30/11/2009 09:20

oh god i've gone crazy i meant Zobbey not Zombie

Pinkali37 · 30/11/2009 09:19

Zombie to BFN.... me too! I did a test on Sunday and another this morning and both BFN. For some reason i had a feeling, alas it was wrong. Makes you feel really POO (that was my nice way of putting it).

zobey · 28/11/2009 15:14

my specialist said you can be on it for a year and a half max. then they will look into other options. am bk to see him on the 3/2/10 wen my fella is going to say we want iui and ivf now. he dnt want me to be in pain every single day with clomid

zobey · 28/11/2009 15:11

hello all, did a test and bfn. pain is worse today, got a hot water bottle on it to try and ease the pain!! not much luck

Pinkali37 · 28/11/2009 12:12

tembie i think you need a laparoscopy to really see what's going on. Then they will probably test your tubes as well! That's when the discovered i had Endo'. GOOD LUCK and fight for it!! x

zobey Could you be pregnant? Sounds stupid but have you tested? Also, i thought you weren't supposed to be on clomid for more than 6 months at a time? If you have a temperature you need to seek medical advice especially if pain is seriously painful as it could be hyperstimulation! OR if just cramping and no AF have you taken a pregnancy test?

zobey · 27/11/2009 22:53

sorry forgot to say im now on 2 tablets a day from 5 to 9 of clomid

zobey · 27/11/2009 22:50

hello, ive been on clomid now for nearly a year!! with no proper sucsees, had a internal ultra sound last week and they said that i have produced one egg and 5 more waiting to pop. however i am well over due my a/f last one was 23 sept. im now in quite a bit of pain cross my stomach,

can any offer any advice for me?

tembie6699 · 27/11/2009 21:35

Thank you all for all you supportive messages ...i think its been thel owest I have been ...I went to my GP today and have demanded to be referred becasue of the effect its having on my relationship and my health as a whole - I have asked for investigative bloods to be taken to assess what is wrong with me ....as the bloods initially taken when i informed my GP of our intention to try about a year ago all came back fine so am wondering if anything has changed since then ........Am just lookign foward to get everything back on track now .....overall i think my case maybe just a matter of losing weight and seeing what happens and possibly to stop worrying about ttc too much ........tahnks again everyone and good luck to you all

Pinkali37 · 27/11/2009 08:22

Hello popsy.

I'm on cd26 and had ovary pain yesterday... does this mean anything????????????? Probably not... like everyone i just can't help over analyse everything that is happening. Every little pain and niggle. The big WHY ME? is asked daily...

popsy1 · 26/11/2009 16:34

Hi ladies. These a few new names on here so hello to those i haven't met before.
I'm a little bit like littlemiss (welcome back hun) been feeling pretty crap so av stayed away as much as poss .I've read most of the posts so have caught up with most of you. Glad you're still doing well stac and sevans. Try and enjoy this truly special time, you have waited sooo long to get here, enjoy .

Tembie hope you are ok hun. I think i have asked myself the, "why me?" question a few times. Life is very unfair, especially when times have been hard before. I don't want to speak harshly about your DH but he is being VERY unfair and unsupportive. These past few years have been the most difficult of my life and i really couldn't have got through the extremly hideous times without the support of my hubby. Sending hugs your way xx

Well i'm on CD14 and things feel 'different' this month (really tearful, feeling low, small CM, early crampsCD5).All symptoms i have felt before but not at the times this month or to the extent. I have no idea why. Hopefully its a good sign but am so sick of sign spotting i'm not getting my hopes up.

Anyway hopefully i'll stay in contact this time, as i think we all need the support from those that know.

xxx
sorry for long post!!!

Pinkali37 · 26/11/2009 16:16

jojo i'm usually 36 days however i think i ovulated on cd 18 so am expecting AF to start on cd32... well hopefully not but who knows. Ooh you haven't got long!! You could in theory test today! I got a positive result last time on day 27 even though cycle then was about 40 that particular month was obviously shorter.

stac14 · 26/11/2009 13:19

Hey jojo I am ok thanks, very tired and still cramping, keep watching the post to see when my first hospital appointment is. How are you? Its nice you and pinkali are cycle buddies. How many rounds of clomid have you had? xx

Jojo1984b · 26/11/2009 10:28

Im CD23 now so we are more or less the same Pinkali. Only a few days to wait for me now im lucky cos my cycle is very regular CD27 or 28 every month without fail.

Hey stac how are you feeling?

Hope everyone is ok xxxxxxxxxxxx

Pinkali37 · 26/11/2009 09:19

ooh just realised i will be cd32 on 3rd Dec, is that the same as you jojo?
