Great attitude lilew xx

Morning ladies! Thanks for all your advice. AF has finally arrived properly now! I am going to assume that today is CD1 so will take the Clomid tomorrow.

To be honest, it's nice to know one way or the other so I'm just going to think positive! Bring on another month!...

Good luck to you all xxxxx

Debicemmy2 · 14/10/2009 20:20

LiLew I have been told always take your clomid on your first full day of bleeding.......so if you start your AF in the afternoon take it the day after.....Thats what I have been told and doing hun.
Good luck

Littlemissmischief - I have my fingers crossed for you! I'm on CD20 - first round of clomid as well. Have you any preg symptoms yet?

popsy1 · 14/10/2009 19:40

CD4!! Be good to have a buddy I take clomid cd2-6, but decided to take them at night this time round. xx

sevans · 14/10/2009 19:29

Hi popsy! I'm on CD 5, what about you?

And yes, Lilew, I agree on giving the doctor a call.

popsy1 · 14/10/2009 19:01

Hello ladies. Ive had no internet for a couple of days and wow lots of posts to catch up on!
Congrats littlemissmischief lots and lots of luck. lilew i'd give the hospital a call, just to check. Hoping its good news for you.
Welcome Hyphen i've found this site really helpful and everyone is so kind and knows exactly how you feel. I lost my baby boy this year at 19wks and i've found this ttc extremely hard to cope with. I'm sure you, having 4 mcs are feeling pretty much the same. Wishing lots of luck xx
Welcome Debicemmy2 lovely to have new people to join us.
i had side effects right through i'm afraid, but only with 100mg.
sevans what cd are you on, think we may be cycle buddies?
xxxx

Littlemissmischief · 14/10/2009 16:56

Hey sevans - you are correct im on CD26 and was told to wait till CD33 so not long to wait and I have everything crossed the old witch dont show up

Lilew - why dont you ring your docs in the morning and ask to speak to someone, even if its just over the phone they should get a doc to speak to you? x

LiLew · 14/10/2009 16:50

Hey sevans! I really don't know. I don't want to test because I know it will be a BFN, but I want to know what to do about the Clomid. Because I ovulated, I assume AF shouldn't really come much later than today. But maybe that 'bleeding' that I had was AF?! In which case I should have started the Clomid today.

It's all so confusing! I think I'm going to leave it till the morning and decide what to do then!

I'll let you know! xxxx

sevans · 14/10/2009 16:35

Welcome Hyphen! I'm glad that you found us! I am really sorry to hear about your m/cs and hope the Clomid works for you. Hopefully those side effects will go away soon! I just started my first cycle of Clomid today and it's only been 2.5 hours since I took it so I'm not sure if I will have any side effects. Nothing to report yet. I also have PCOS and have very irregular periods off of the pill. I hope you ovulate this month but I guess right now at CD13 you should be full swing doing the deed!

LiLew when do you think you will test? I'm crossing my fingers for a BFP for you!

Littlemiss since you know you ovulated, now you just have to wait to see if AF arrives, right? How many days is that? Hopefully she doesn't come because of a pregnancy!!

LiLew · 14/10/2009 16:34

Welcome Hyphen! Oh you poor thing - you've really been through it haven't you? So sorry to hear about your m/c's. Let's hope the Clomid does the trick for you hun!

I had side effects right the way through my first cycle of 50mg Clomid. The cycles after that I didn't really have any, even when my dosage was increased to 100mg. I think everyone is different though.

xxxx

Littlemissmischief · 14/10/2009 15:51

Hey Hyphen and welcome
Sorry to hear about your m/c's hun, i really hope the clomid does the trick for you hun, seems like you could do with some good luck. I am the same as you in regards of the periods, mine are very irregular and can last for ages and then be along time before I get another, my doc said its unlikely i was ovulating because of this and that if i was it would only be a couple of times a year because of the length between and so its much harder to catch than if you ovulate every month, so would imagine this is the same with you??
What doseage Clomid are you on, I m on my 1st cycle of 50mg and I had all those side affects and felt awful long after I stopped taking them so your not alone hun, I looked on the positive side though and thought if it is strong enough to give side affects it must be strong enough to work, and lo and behold I found out yesterday that I had indeed ovulated this month... hope you get the same result

Good luck and babydust

Hi Everyone. I am new to this and dont quite know where to start.

well i have PCOS also a love heart shaped womb. me and my hubby had all the blood work done to make sure we were compatable and all came back normal.

We have been TTC for 4 years now. we have had 4 M/C along the way, witch have been heart breaking.

The doc decided it was time to try clomid, he put me on provera 3tabs for 5 days. then clomid days 2-6. i am now on cd13 and nervous but excited at the same time. i have been having such a bad time on the tablets. The mood swings, sore boobs, headaches hot flushes and still getting thm. does anyone else still get the symptoms as far on as cd13??

i dont have a regular cycle atall. most of the time i will have AF for at the least 4months at a time sometimes 6 months. then the doc puts me on some tablet called tranixamicacid ( dont know how to spell it sorry) but i take AF away after a week or so.

I am due to go in to the docs on the 26th of this month (oct) to see if i ovulated!!

Baby dust to all

Thanks Littlemissmischief! Oh my, wouldn't that be great if I get a BFP after thinking that AF arrived! I think that's wishful thinking though TBH! Grrr I hate all this haha!

Well, I'll keep you posted! xxx

Hey Sevans glad you havent got any side affects so far hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones

Lilew - I dont want to give you false hope or anything but I have heard you can bleed a little when pregnant at the time your period would be due, cant remember why tho? Also I just read on another thread that Superdrug own tests are one of the most sensitive tests out, more so that first response and the they are on offer too, fingers crossed hun x x

LiLew · 14/10/2009 15:06

Hey sevans! I have no idea what's going on. It's completely stopped again now. Had really slight bleed (if you can call it that) first thing this morning, and then nothing again. I'm feeling so peed off now - I'm being proper grumpy this afternoon haha! I'm meant to be working, but I've got a stinking headache, am moody, and can't concentrate on anything!

I think you're right - I'll do a test before taking the Clomid just to be sure. I wasn't going to buy any, but there's a 2 for 1 offer on the first response tests in Superdrug!

Fingers crossed you don't get any side effects on the Clomid! xxx

sevans · 14/10/2009 14:49

Hmm Lilew, I'm not sure what is going on with your AF. Could it possibly be an implantation bleed? I think it's good to hold off another day. Maybe you can take a pregnancy test before starting the Clomid just to be sure.

I took my first Clomid pill this morning. I was going to hold off until tonight but the doctor told me to take it in the morning. Plus, I wanted to give my body a 14 hour head start by taking it at 8AM rather than 10PM since I am taking it days 5-9! No side effects yet but it has only been one hour!

LiLew · 14/10/2009 10:19

Hehe yeah it's funny! That's why I love chatting to you girls because you're the only ones that understand what it's really like! If I told anyone else I ovulated this cycle they'd think 'so what' and give me an odd look haha!

I think I'll leave it another day and see if AF starts again/gets any heavier. If it doesn't I'll call the cons to get some advice. I think my body is so shocked that it's actually ovulated that it doesn't know what to do now hahaha!

Littlemissmischief · 14/10/2009 10:04

Thanks so much ladies, you are all so lovely . I am so chuffed, isnt it weird how we all get so excited by something that most woman do normally lol.

Lilew - Im not really sure what you should do hun, but can you not ring to someone at the hospital or doctors to get some advice?

LiLew · 14/10/2009 09:56

Congratulations on ovulating Littlemissmischief! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that AF doesn't come for you this month!

Welcome to the forum Debicemmy2! You're certainly not alone on here - I've found it a great help chatting to these girls.

Hey sevans! I'm taking Clomid days 2-6. I'm due to start my fourth cycle on them. My first 2 rounds were 50mg but I still wasn't ovulating so it's been increased to 100mg. I ovulated on that last cycle of 100mg so I'm just hoping that I ovulate again this cycle.

The strange thing is that I thought AF had started, but it's not started properly after all. I'm not sure what to do about taking the Clomid now. My cons said only start taking them from the second day of your proper period (where I've not been ovulating, AF comes in dribs and drabs - starts very light, then stops for a while, etc). The last time I ovulated AF came full on day 28. I'm now on day 30 and it's been on and off, VERY light (almost watery). Not sure what to make of it. Any ideas? Shall I start taking the Clomid?
