congrats kimpin so chuffed for you huni, how many months on clomid for you? xxx

kimpin · 25/10/2009 16:07

Hello girls...CD 31...I took a HPT this morning....BFP!!!!! So weird, I had a dream last night that I took a test and it was positive..I immediately woke up and took the test, and sure enough....BFP! I am thrilled, as is my husband!! I just pray that this is the good one. And I also pray that this is the start of a good month of BFPs for all of you.

Littlemissmischief · 23/10/2009 15:24

Thanks girlies
Is it normal for them to continue the CD21 bloods even if you have ovulated, is this what happens with all of you? x x

sevans · 23/10/2009 15:19

Yes, littlemiss that does make sense about day 21 bloods as reassurance that you ovulated. Are you going to try to see if they will change their minds? Good luck if so.

Popsy, I'm on CD 14. I forgot that we were cycle buddies! I have no feelings of ovulating either but I don't really know what to expect. I take my temps and haven't seen a rise yet so I am guessing I haven't ovulated.

babydust to all!!

popsy1 · 23/10/2009 13:15

Hello littlemissmischief feeling slightly better although feeling low, but hey ho i'm sure you've all been there! Thanks for asking hun.
Makes complete sense about your reluctance not to have 21 day bloods, it is a reasuurace that things are going right. We argued this and thankfully are going to have them this month. Think it depends again on 'postcode' don't give up though. We gave it a month with no monitoring then as we weren't pg said we wanted to know that me ov wasn't fluke.
I get DPs Wellman from Boots, it about £8 and is on 3 for 2 at mo. Think i'm gunna switch my folic acid to a vitamin and folic acid one.
Sorry Af came tembie hope your trip away isn't all work! Take care hun.
Anyway CD13 for me and no feeling of ov, need to feel better as its that crucial time of the month.
Sorry for long message, but home alone and bored

love to all
xx

Hey Ladies, going to try and catch up now...

Popsy - Thanks for the advice hun, also can you tell me where you get the wellman for your DP from, in the shops ive looked there is only woman ones? Hope your feeling better hun.

Kimpin - Thanks for the advice also hun.I have everything crossed for you for tomorrow x

Sevans - I was sure I had ovulated because I had some weird cramping on the one side, i have everything crossed for you x

Welcome Jo

Stac - thanks for asking hun, im feeling better now thanks, got over the inital upset and just focusing on getting through the first couple of weeks of this cycle and then try to relax (yeah who am i kidding!).

Tembie - so sorry AF got you, see you soon x

Think Im caught up, sorry if I have forgot anyone.

Not much to report here, been taking the Clomid at night and not suffering half as much so thats good . Im REALLY annoyed with my cons secetary though, like I said in my last post she didnt ring me back so I had to ask a oncall GP who said to count the 1st day as CD1 so I took the clomid and then she rang me yesterday and said to not count the 1st day, so I told her it was a bit bloody late because Id already taken it . So hoping it still works this month, they have also told me I wont have a CD21 test again as I ovulated last month but really dont feel happy about it because it was an extra reassurance if that makes sense?

Sorry for the massive post x x x

stac14 · 22/10/2009 23:21

Sorry af got you tembie we will miss you but hope you get on to let us know how you are.

kimpin I have 10 year old ds who was concieved v.quickly also but this time around when I stopped the pill I had no af at all for 9 months, gp was great about checking me out as I had always been regular with af and got me to see the consultant in December last year, unfortunately its still not happened for us but I live in hope. There has been some success stories on the thread, 2 girls I was on here with before fell pregnant with twins and one has had 2 boys the other is about 16 weeks or so gone. I hae heard lots of good things about clomid so dont be disheartened hun xxxx

kimpin · 22/10/2009 21:12

So sorry to hear about AF Tembie - I'm in the waiting game now too....ugh...what kind of funny feelings were you having? I'm CD 28 and going crazy not to test...I took one about 3 days ago and BFN - not getting my hopes up. AF due on Sat.

kimpin · 22/10/2009 15:24

stac14 - We have been TTC for a year, and this is my first round of clomid...I guess I was expecting miracles this month, but I am presently CD 28 and no symptoms, nothing I ovulate regular - we just haven't been getting pregnant. We have a 2 yr old litte boy now - conceived first try! So, not sure what's going on this time round. MY doc gave me rx of clomid for 3 months - if nothing happens after that I will go to specialist for tests. It's hard...it's stressful. THis is all I think about. I'm healthy, active, 36 yrs old, wondering if my age is a factor. Each day I look for a symptom, something that tells me I am pregnant...anyway...that's my story. I've been reading a lot of this message board...has there been any success stories on here???

tembie6699 · 22/10/2009 14:40

Am CD27 - not good news for me as AF started today...like 20 minutes ago arrrrgggghhhh ...so those wierd symptoms where AF ...i guess i will be restarting Clomid again ....am not upset am just pleased that for once since actively TTC my system is like clockwork ...and praying it will be positive clockwork in Novemeber x...am not going to be on here for the next few weeks as I am away with work but i hope to update u on my progress ..

muchas gracious ..and baby dust to all

xxxx

stac14 · 22/10/2009 12:10

cheers for the info about the supplements ladies, I have only been taking folic acid but think I need to add to this.

lilew I am a week late and have a dull ache at the laft side so not sure if af is working on me, hows things with you hun?

popsy so rotten you are having a crap time with with clomid, its really not a nice drug for some of us but the end result will be worth it.

Welcome jojo good luck this month hun sounds good, let us know how you get on

hows everyone else? littlemiss are you feeling any better? xxxx

popsy1 · 22/10/2009 11:43

Welcome Jojo, hope all goes well for you, sounds promising.
In answer to the question regarding supplements; i just take folic acid and hubby takes wellman.
I'm feeling really rough, headaches, dizzyness etc. Just back from docs and they said my blood pressure is sky high, need to relax apparently!! Said to take it easy for a few days, so hubby has called work and said i'm not allowed to go back til after the weekend!! Never known him so forceful!!Think it's all getting to me .
Anyway ladies, love and {{{hugs}}}}to all.
xxxx

tembie6699 · 22/10/2009 10:40

Jojo1984b · 22/10/2009 09:34

LiLew · 22/10/2009 08:54

Hey ladies

How exciting that AF hasn't arrived yet stac14! Do you feel like it's going to start? In answer to your question, I take the pregnacare tablets and dh takes the wellman tablets as recommended by the cons.

xxx

stac14 · 21/10/2009 23:23

hey kimpin i have pcos and we have been ttc for 19 months had 6 rounds of clomid and only ov'd once so now i have been given metformin with clomid 100mg, other than that the cons wont give us anymore help on the nhs as I have ds (10) from previous relationship, what about you? xx

kimpin · 21/10/2009 21:19

Stace - how long have you been on clomid? ttc?

stac14 · 21/10/2009 19:02

Hey Ladies how are you all? been busy on here today. I looked up the Zita West stuff but the supplements are so expensive, we are already doing the things she recommends but the stress thing may be a factor for us as my sis is a nightmare. Do anyone of you take a recommended supplement and does your dp/dh? Still no af, but not got the courage to test again just yet

popsy I always took clomid before bed and it seemed to lessen the side effects although I have to admit to still feeling pretty crap and wanting to cry alot. It effects us all differently. I must admit I a, not looking foward to taking them again, but I will cos want a baby so much

soz for a long post and hello to all xoxoxoxoxox

sevans · 21/10/2009 18:21

Hey girls and welcome newcomers! Nothing new to report. I am on CD 13. I hope the Clomid works and I ovulate but I am not feeling anything. Did any of you know that you ovulated before the blood test? Sorry to hear about the side effects some of you are experiencing. They didn't hit me this month but that's not to say they never will.

Lots of babydust to you all!

kimpin · 21/10/2009 18:04

I took my clomid in the evening, before bed, and no side effects. I was told the same thing Popsy about when to start the clomid.

popsy1 · 21/10/2009 17:54

hi littlemiss i was told to count day one as when you've had a full day of red blood bleeding, but i think we've all found out on here the info varies from con to con. I've taken my clomid at 5pm this time, just as people said the side effects lessen when taken at night, don't know yet if its worked, but i sooooo hope so. Not sure i can take another month
Not sure i've helped much
Good luck hun xxx

Littlemissmischief · 21/10/2009 16:32

Ok so just spoke to my GP because I couldnt get hold of anyone at the hospital today, he said I should count yesterday as CD1 even tho it didnt start till late in the day and it was stop and start, which means I am to start the Clomid today, so do you all agree I should start today?
He also said it should be fine to take it at night, have any of you done the same and it worked? X X X

kimpin · 21/10/2009 16:20

I am in the waiting game right now...CD 27 - thought I was feeling symptoms earlier, but now I feel nothing...nothing at all. I am one of those ones who thought for sure I would get pregnant first round on clomid...guess not. It's tough...really tough. We've been trying for a year now...it's getting depressing...I know how you feel Littlemischief....it will happen to us...to all of us...believe

popsy1 · 21/10/2009 14:34

Completely agree ladies, its about time we had some good news on here
lilew, i've been vile this month, worse than ever . Feel very sorry for my hubby, altho it has calmed down now as on CD11. Also finding it very hard at mo, keep thinking of booking a holiday in the sun. Month 4 of clomid now and honestly thought i'd be pg by now.
littlemissmischief i know what you mean, i got to CD35 and altho i kept saying to myself i wasn't pg i started to believe it. No-one knows whats going on so i only have my hubby to talk to so dont have the outside 'pressure'.

Called CRM about my 21 day bloods (as it falls on the saturday) and they said to have it done on the Friday as it might be too late by the monday.

xxxx

Littlemissmischief · 21/10/2009 10:23

I agree Tembie, someone must have some good news soon! I have my fingers crossed for you hun x

Lilew - Thanks hun, my AF has started properly today so will start the Clomid tomorrow. Oh I could go for an exotic holiday too, actually any holiday would be great doesnt even have to be exotic

Not looking forward to my mum and Bfriend ringing today and having to tell them my AF has arrived, everyone was getting excited as I was on CD32 yesterday and I think the pity is the worst thing, it sets me off!

Actually thinking about it, if my AF started CD32 then I ovulated on CD18 right? So thats a bit late, does that mean the CD21 progesterone blood test was wrong?

Hows everyone else doing? x x
