proudestmummyever · 14/08/2009 14:04

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 14/08/2009 13:56

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 14/08/2009 13:53

oh angel that makes perfect sense! Every symptom is positive to know your little bean is growing1 I wished i still had symptoms till i felt baby move today!

s for true movies my mum said dont ever mix pregnancy hormones with true movie channel and oh my god was she right! Emotions dont seem to lessen i seem constantly on edge of crying! lmao

PME make sure you have a good month to! all that saying make sure he orgasms before you is rubbish imho i must confess the days around time we conceived my sex drive was ultra high and i was 'doing the deed' alone while he was at work, as well as when he got home of course!!

Also the whole sex drive thing about going down when pregnant im not sure bout that either! DH came home few nights ago and announced my sex drive would increase now im 16 weeks as one of his friends said so! lmao. He wont go near my 'bits' though as he is scared of hitting the baby! lmao i have tried convincing him otherwise but to no avail, he is adamant after telling me 'your vagina isn't that big ya know and each time i go in ill hit your cervix! lmao gotta think bless him each time though!! hehehe

proudestmummyever · 14/08/2009 13:53

Right, here we go...well, was due my AF on 18th July, never came til 31st, 13 days late,or would tht be 14 days late so tht was the Friday night....but was light, and virtually disappeared over next couple of days, Monday though was when the heavier stuff came sorry TMI, and I got the usual AGONISING pains constantly.

So I am thinking Monday was proper AF which would be the 3rd Of August so I am either on CD12 OR CD15??? But probably CD12?

Pheeeeeeeeeew:O xx

proudestmummyever · 14/08/2009 13:41

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 14/08/2009 08:43

hey everyone and welcome tobermory!!

Liskey you have your classes srted already...... No one has mentioned any classes to me, whats nct and whats the difference between nhs classes??

Renee am sure the bleed was prob implantation esp if it was dark blood. Hope your feeling better today.

Ok today am 16+3 and i think i felt the baby move! Cue me telling myself loudly whilst on the bed, 'the baby just moved!!' the dog running in to see what my excitment was about, then me dashing into bathroom to tell DH with the biggest grin on my face!!

I still dont actually know if it was the baby moving i was feeling very relaxed after some morning activity shall we say and it was like bubbles on the left hand side which is where they pick up the heartbeat! My wind is ussually in the middle! Did I actually feel bubba Max moving or is it my imagination!?

How is everyone today!? I must step away from true movie channel and wash my hair before my food delivery! xx

ReneRusso · 13/08/2009 21:56

Hi everyone, I'm still checking up on you all.
Still not feeling very pregnant - no sickness or tiredness yet. I'm about 6+4. I had a very slight bleed (dark brown) yesterday but nothing to get too worried about I hope. I'm away from home anyway so can't see my doctor so I'm just taking it a little bit easier and hoping for the best.
Just wanted to say to all the symptom spotters, the only real symptoms that I noticed in the 2 week wait were tingly boobs and lower back pain. Of course I didn't really think I was pregnant at the time so it is only with the benefit of hindsight.
Best wishes to all

Tobermory · 13/08/2009 21:23

.... Weeing on the stick, obviously!

Liskey · 13/08/2009 21:18

The classes are on Saturdays in December - picked a good time there! Well its one way of avoiding Christmas crowds. I'm looking forward to going and meeting other people as well.

Thats exciting about the clearblue monitor PL it should be good with that make - hopefully better than the OPK's.

Tobermory

Tobermory · 13/08/2009 21:02

pistachio.... I know, even as I was seeing on the stick this morning I knew! as you say will try again in a week or so and try not to spend too much time on the baby name thread in the meantime!!

liskey we went to NCT classes when pg with DD... The best thing we did! Learned so much and still in contact 2+ years later, going camping with one family in a couple of weeks!

PistachioLemon · 13/08/2009 20:41

Oh Tobermory, naughty! Anyway, as you say too too early so it's definitely not over. Maybe try again in a week?

Iate how exciting. When do you start them?

No news here really - apart from I bid for and bought a clearblue fertility monitor on ebay this evening - supposedly brand new and unused (am sceptical about that but it does make me feel a bit better about the pee thing)...so I have paid and will hopefully receive it very soon!Woohooo!

Liskey · 13/08/2009 20:22

Hi

PL I've booked my NCT classes already - my SIL was telling me the same thing and then my friend called who said you meet nice people there and you learn far more than at the NHS classes - which aren't really at convenient times.

Hello Tobermory welcome to this thread - I'm a graduate who they can't get rid of as its full of lovely friendly people. Good luck with the non-testing.

Tobermory · 13/08/2009 19:51

.... I failed already and have tested!

was negative but I tested far too early, only on CD22 of 30-45+.
But was convinced and major symptom spotting all over the place!

PistachioLemon · 13/08/2009 11:08

Welcome Tobermory... lovely to have new people on the thread. So when are you due to test? STEP AWAY!

OP posts:
Tobermory · 12/08/2009 22:19

I'm an avid early tester and need some dissuading this month..... Can I join you all?

PistachioLemon · 12/08/2009 20:38

Evening Ladies,

Iate I'm sure your results will come back fine too. How disappointing that they didn't tell you about the nuchal scan or that the midwife didn't keep the doplar on for very long. Was it lovely hearing the heartbeat though?

Iate and Liskey have you enrolled on any classes yet? My friends have all said that the NCT ones they went on were quite good and most were lucky and met lots of people who have now become good friends.

Typical, someone on my other thread sold her CBF monitor when she found out she was pregnant or else I could have had hers. So instead I've been watching a whole load of them on ebay. They seem to be going for about half the price of the brand new ones which is making me think it's not quite so icky using a machine which may have had someone elses pee in it. Maybe! I still haven't bid yet so don't be surprised if I somehow buy one in Boots by accident!

Because I'm under 35 (by 14 months only) my GP won't do any tests on me until we've been trying for a year. He has agreed to do sperm tests on DH because he's 41 and also had an operation on his testicle when he was in his early 20s so they are booked for September. Cross fingers we'll be able to cancel.

So how's everyone else? Clwc, PME, Rene, Angel? Everyone has been very quiet this week.... more BFPs please.

Liskey · 12/08/2009 18:55

Hi Iate

Still doesn't seem very real but I do feel very tired in the evenings. I don't knwo if I've felt the baby move either yet - it is strange waiting for somehting but you don't quite know what! I had a private nuchal scan which came back 1 in 50,000 i think it was. I've had my 15 weekd bloods as well which said 1 in 1250 - so no further tests offered. I'm sure your test results will come back fine.

Sorry PL I only temped and used OPK's which did work in combination with each other - so I can't say about the clearblue fertility monitor.
