Hi

I am new to Mumsnet and was wondering if any Mumsnet users trying for a baby would like to chat. I have a dd who is 2 and want another baby desperately. I have only been trying for one month and thought I was pregnant last month but was wrong. I got pregnant within a month with dd and thought the same would happen again. Could use some baby dust.

Just a post to let everyone know we've moved over to a new thread, 'trying for a spring baby'

MandM · 29/06/2005 09:55

OK girls! The new thread is underway - come on over and join in!!!!

homemama · 29/06/2005 09:53

Taking over is fine by me, I would just have posted about it and never got round to it anyway.
Flame, I knew it was wed today but still thought tomorrow was fri!

Flamesparrow · 29/06/2005 09:47

Tomorrow's THURSDAY

Friday, I promise.

MandM · 29/06/2005 09:47

FS - Sorry! Missed that one I'm afraid. Anyway, I don't think you'll be joining us will you?

HM - Hope you didn't think I was taking over . I'm always getting told off for being too bossy!

homemama · 29/06/2005 09:47

So, do we get to know the pg or not tomorrow then?
Hmmmmm, you seem very cheery!

Flamesparrow · 29/06/2005 09:42

You ain't gettin rid of me that easily... I'll be posting on there pregnant or not!!!

homemama · 29/06/2005 09:40

Oh go on then MandM! I'll leave it up to you!

Flame, in the nicest possible way Hon, we're hoping you don't need to join us!!

Flamesparrow · 29/06/2005 09:34

All ignored me when I suggested a new thread...

MandM · 29/06/2005 09:30

Homemama - I was going to suggest a new thread too. 'Trying for a Spring Baby' sounds a good title!

Do you want me to set it up?

homemama · 29/06/2005 08:58

Oh, and I was wondering if we should start a new thread called 'trying for a spring baby' Any thoughts??
Hopefully we'll have lost a couple to the ante natal threads by then!

homemama · 29/06/2005 08:52

just saying good morning all.
My DS (7.5mths) slept through last night for the first time in his life!!!
I'm hoping the sleep has sent the message to my body that it's time to do it all again!

flamesparrow · 28/06/2005 12:24

Thanks for explaining the BB reference... I was a tad baffled!!!

homemama · 28/06/2005 11:24

Maybe I'll be left on my own!

MandM · 28/06/2005 10:16

Ooops...posted before I'd finished!

Meant to say Good Luck StarryEyed - this could end up being a really good week for this thread.

Trix - have you tested yet?

MandM · 28/06/2005 10:14

Your real name isn't Makosi is it Flamesparrow?

(or am I the only one to be sad enough to be a Big Brother addict! )

I am on CD 16 today - yes Dana you're right - it's like time standing still when you're trying to count those days down to 28!

homemama · 28/06/2005 09:19

Teasing m'thinks!!!

flamesparrow · 28/06/2005 09:03

Sorry - I have a twisted sense of humour

flamesparrow · 28/06/2005 09:01

This is way too much fun...

Can I just keep doing this for months and then suddenly announce in Feb/March/April that I'm in labour???

homemama · 28/06/2005 09:00

Oh Flame honey, is that cause you need to start one?
Orare you just teasing us?
Hope it's the latter!

flamesparrow · 28/06/2005 08:18

Is there a "Trying for a March Baby" thread going yet?

homemama · 27/06/2005 21:50

Hi Dana, glad you had a nice holiday. Good luck with testing Starry. Flame-I have to agree with the general concensus judging by your mood.
As for me, still waiting for first AF 2mths after giving up BF.
WHERE ARE YOU????????????????????????????????

Dana · 27/06/2005 16:42

Hello girls.

Back from wonderful holidays. Had a really good time - walks on the beach, trips to waterpark with DS, who now loves water, lots of time together as a family with hardly any arguments!!

Flame, can see you have been driving the lovely ladies crazy...come on tell us now, now, now, now. Agree with MandM that you sound far to cheery for a BFN though. Hope we are right

Good luck with testing Starry. I am away to Paris with work for a couple of days (not as cool as it sounds, will be stuck in a conference room for 2 days ), but will be back on Thursday for your results!!

Anchovies, congrats if you're still reading this thread.

Trix, did you test yet?

Hello to MandM and Homemama too, hope you are well.

Am on CD23 (is is just me, or does the days seem to go really slow?) don't feel the least bit pg, but if I'm not, it's won't be for lack of trying We'll just have to wait and see.

Today is DS's birthday, he is 2. Can't believe it's been two years already!!

StarryEyed · 27/06/2005 14:38

Thanks.

Since I stopped the pill my first cycle was 28 days and my second 30 days so my AF is due either 28/6 or 30/6. But I feel really unwell today. My boobs are very sore (which I don't suffer from normally) but my whole body is hurting generally. Think I am coming down with something. Plus persistent headache and bloated tummy. Not in a good way. Not sure whether to wait or test. Am so scared it will be a BFN. As you know my DH is away at next month just when I am OVing so next month is a write off. I only have a clearblue test at home which you can test on the day AF is due.

Will be out of the office tomorrow and day after so next post will be Thurs. Sorry girls. Will let you know then. I may have to wait till Thurs to test in any case. GOD...

Flamesparrow - you can't tease us like that
